Original Island Skip find: youtu.be/X9IvMmcEC8A
Now without Super Jump!
Magnet Dash is used but I suppose there is a way to get on top of the mountain without it.
Dying during a cutscene unloads various elements of the map (springs , portals , enemies etc ...)
Unfortunately , the death plane of the boss area is still present despite the fog being gone.
This effect carries over savefiles as long they are on Chaos Island.
Pinball skip is not happening ... Yet.
I've found a couple of skips in this level so I decided to showcase them with a run.
Not bad overall but the ending could have been better , the Sub 40 will be for another day ... Maybe.
Credits to Memey_PW on Twitter for the Magnet Dash Glitch.
So I am showcasing it with an optional quest while getting a chest early!
Main Quest: Uncork The Volcano
Main Quest: Stay on Track.
A funny placeholder to find , showcasing this out of bounds can be difficult due to flashing images.
Infinite money , free items and more!
You need to press A on an item and immediately cancel it with B , A needs to be pressed first.
It's also possible to bypass the purchase limit of an item (done here with a Star Potion , which has a limit of 2.)
You need to have at least 1 planet coin to perform this glitch if you want to get regular items for free.
Same goes for items with the planet coin currency , you need to have enough money to buy a regular item first.
Now select another character and confirm the purchase , the skill will now be unlocked even if that one character doesn't have any orbs , resulting in a negative number of orbs!
Be cautious while experimenting with this glitch.
This is a one chance trick , since the rock only rotates once.
Closer look at it here: youtube.com/watch?v=vziEO8U1HdM
Position yourself correctly , hit the rock , hold the stick up left (like 10 on a clock) and high jump.
Once on top of the barrel , it's actually very simple.
Hug the wall , jump while tapping the stick to the right until Mario half clipped through the barrel and then hold right for a VERY brief moment and then hold down right.
This glitch skips getting the camera , the Wendy boss fight and cutscenes.

By carefully avoiding not leaving the background layer and then falling into the void , you will respawn on the last solid ground you walked on while staying in the background , meaning you can go through pretty much all walls of the area and reach the end much faster than intended.
Version 1.0.6r.
At this part of the stage , you are supposed to get out of the water and hit a loading zone.
However it's possible to avoid it using an up right dash and since the whole stage is loaded at once you can just swim and reach the goal early , saving a couple of seconds!
Version 1.0.6r.
Do a Tundra Ray a few frames after falling into a pit (or activating a loading zone) , Neera will automatically repeat that move without any cooldown.
Version 1.0.2r.
It's also possible to fight the boss below the wall clip early.
Reaching the boss that way is slower than the Spider Ball clip used by the current Any% WR speedrun at the time.
However , going back to the elevator without needing an Ice clip might be slightly faster and more consistent.
1:32 : Faster method to reach the boss using a wall clip and multiple Space Jumps.
2:02 : Faster method to exit the Screw Attack ability room.
Explanation (clip to the left) :
- Run against the wall.
- Small tap to the right then aim up , left and up again.
- Melee attack (Samus needs to be facing right) and immediately jump while sliding the stick from up to up left.
Working in T shaped walls as I like to call them , all you need is a ceiling that is very close to Samus and a wall next to her.
0:00 : Very small time saver.
0:28 : Two wall clips in one recording.
The first one definitely saves a few seconds , the second one might not be worth going for because of the health loss (health is needed for the hot room further in the area.)
1:22 : Best one of the bunch.
By lining up at the edge of a trigger wall near stairs leading to Bowser's Castle and then holding precisely up, Mario can squeeze by that cutscene with Kamek. Has interesting side effects. Does not skip Boss Sumo Bro.
Y_U found out that it can save around 30 seconds!

Jump and do a downward attack right before the screen fades to black for the float glitch!
0:00 : Fire Spell early by getting an upgrade
Just jump after grabbing the ledge.
0:30 : Death Knight + Hamusuke Boss Fights Skip
When there is no ground to jump off of , getting hit sends you flying too!
1:12 : Narberal Gamma Boss Fight Skip
Some sort of wrong warp caused by the Anti-OoB protection.
While using the float state , go through one loading zone and then do multiple attacks while holding the opposite direction , it allows you to bypass loading zones for easy OoBs!
2:05 : Infinite Jump Technique
Jump , Down Air Attack using the hammer (or any heavy weapons) , Start , Select the hammer again and repeat.
Changing weapons resets the state of Clementine which allows her to attack again.
I am not particularly interested by breaking this game more for now but it has a lot of potential.

However this one is even harder and saves much less time , but new Klonoa stuff is always welcome!
Turbo has been used in the mashing section , no savestate.
The Labyrinth 2 Skip found by Werster is needed for this glitch:
- youtu.be/9p8grP6LfNs
Not particularly interesting considering how bad this port is but it's always worth documenting I guess.

Default rules.
Knuckles : 14"55 - Could have been ~2 seconds faster.
Amy : 16"44 - Very good time despite the damage.
Bark : 14"64 - Very good fight.
Espio : 15"32 - Just like for Amy.
Tails : 15"79 - Dunno how to fight him , one of my best Tails fight.
Fang : 17"27 - Missed a hit and got punished for it , still good.
Bean : 18"38 - I hate fighting this guy , I am satisfied when I can win a round in less than 10 seconds.
Sonic : 17"14 - The first round could have been better , but still good.
Metal Sonic : 16"78 - Good enough.
Dr.Eggman doesn't count for IGT.
This glitch was originally NOT found by me.
It was discovered by Fummos on Twitter: twitter.com/FummosBox/status/1509281931992567809
After seeing this clip , I have decided to find the cause of it.
It's caused by the fire breath attack + Kirby's tiredness.
My method to pull it off is:
Jump , air directional attack , floating for a short time , air directional attack , fire breath attack before touching the ground and spam jump. (Both air directional attacks are NOT needed.)
It can be tricky at first , but it's very consistent with some practice.
This trick also work with the base Fire attack ability.
You can also go out of bounds with it!
