- Recapping - Video Encoder replacement - General celebratory mood
- HUGE DISCLAIMER FOR PCB SURVIVAL, WORLD PEACE AND THE BETTERMENT OF MANKIND - As I mentioned in the video when I started twisting caps: "This is not the way..." And I truly ment that. Accidentally paraphrasing Mandalorians is no joke, people! It's religion! YOU DON'T JOKE ABOUT RELIGION!!! - "Hmmm... There, there... Relax, me..." [Putting an arm around my own shoulders.] "Nothing is absolute. I guess sometimes it might depend on the circumstances. You just need to figure out when and what they are!"
Anyway... To clarify what I mean: Twisting SMD caps is not in any way the "easy way out"/beginner method that you should try if you in any way care about your machine. You will break traces unless your caps are extremely spongy and weak. I don't recommend anyone doing it if you (A) care about getting the board out of it alive or (B) can handle the consequences of PCB repair. I (A) didn't and (B) can... :P
"I have spoken..."
Have a great 2020! (EDIT: I guess not... Better luck 2021)

I am introducing this with a corny iMovie clip because my summer vacation robs me from all my good tools.
When I build or repair anything, my aim is to bring as much value as possible out of a sensible amount of effort. In other words... high quality bodge jobs. ;)
There is a chance there will be HAM radio and music related videos also because who keeps on topic anyway.
