A Very Yakuza Christmas feat. Spooderman ~ Happy Holidays! MrAuditore96 2021-12-29 | 2022, you better kick some ass. Cuz I'm all out of gum. Wait, did that go like that? Anyway, ya better kick some ass and it better not be -our- ass all over again.Aight folks, decided to end the upload streak with a bang this 2021. It's been a truly lovely year in its best moments at least, all of which have left me with enough confidence that I'll be keeping you entertained for many more years to come! Especially after reaching greatness in this year's Creacon, among others (stay tuned). And I mean, I can't just get out the back door after having so many uploads lined up, right? Right?So yeah, as usual, the multiverse that we can see is acting up more than usual lately has actually lowkey broken down in the Yakuza universe this faithful end of the year as well. Mysterious characters like buffed up CJ and Web of Shadows Spider Man are pouring in like mosquitoes at a summertime barbecue and, as expected, the only thing Kiryu needs to do this time is what he always does: beat up Kuze 347347 times. And, well, other stuff too I guess.This fun edit idea combined with a small touch of visual bliss from this year and previous years' gorgeous light displays in Tokyo (thank you for existing Shibuya Illumination and @Nostro-!) is just my way of crowning the sensation that's defined these couple'a years for me, at least from a creative standpoint. These years have all but plunged us in an almost insatiable hunt for mental refuge, possibly more than ever before, which has translated not only into consuming much more media in an attempt to stay sane, but also crafting ways for us to experience things we are now much less likely to properly experience - travelling, for example. Finding ways to emulate a certain experience has been a human habit since virtually the dawn of time - be it stories, anecdotes, movies, games. We long to be somewhere so we let our mind run wild along the plains of where we'd rather be. So perhaps instead of reaching out to the far Nippon lands this Christmas and end of the year, let's all enjoy a different taste of its bustling, colourful and wacky city streets: as seen through the comically presented experience from the Yakuza series.Big thank you's extend not only to the people behind these games, but also those who put clockwork precision in their passionate work in building mods, tutorials, guides, montages, compilations and so much more for the community (big shout out to @devilleon7 in particular). Going even further back, what's to be truly appreciated is the wonderful sequence of events that led me to being drawn enough to the Nippon world to edit their friggin' cartoons and in turn meet like-minded people thanks to whom I could only enrich my experience and grow in many ways - from then on to even start studying the language as of this year and god knows what else is in store for my dubiously rambunctious ass. Soul Corp AKA Assassins Creed Korea - FMV (2nd Place Overall @Creacon 2021) MrAuditore96 2021-10-17 | Ladies & gents, the time has come. After this project's birth during an IC earlier this year (as per all my projects lately :D), I finally welcome you to the revamped, remastered and ultimately reforged version of "THE MrAuditore video", in the words of my awesome editor-in-arms, the ravishing @TheFinalDistrict.And if that wasn't enough of a hint, then let me speak in even clearer terms: what you're about to witness here is my interpretation of a Korean Assassin's Creed storyline, complete with its very own version of the Assassin v Templar faction war, mystical Pieces of Eden, kidnapped agents tasked to go back in time and retrieve locations of said artifacts and more, oh so much more.The story follows two agents kidnapped by the evil Abstergo corporation, the very "Soul Corporation" dubbed in the title. Whatever their motivation and reasoning, they're simply forced to dive into the memories of their 19th Century ancestors in order to find the location of a mysterious artifact - The Apple of Eden. Finding The Apple will in turn enable an evil organization known throughout history as the Templars to bring unspeakable natural disasters upon the world, that they will then make use of as a way to rise to power. And so our two agents must take on their roles as lower class Joseon citizens who too manage to rise to power in their own way to fight the evil regime of those times as a band of rebels, a perilous journey with the ultimate destruction of evil as a final goal, but which hides so many more implications. The present also puts their morality to the test, as they must decide what's truly worth fighting for, all alongside an enemy Templar agent who surprisingly turns towards aiding their cause. Put this all on the backdrop of a crumbling Korean Peninsula, engulfed in the flames unleashed by the mouth of Mount Baekdu at the Apple's command, and you've got yourself a plot for the centuries.And thus a copious meal awaits you all, one that includes way more than just... magic apples. I therefore welcome you to an unveiling of all of its underlying layers and surprising plot turn-arounds, all spiced up through the parallels through time, as this is where it all began: Korean acting being undeniably masterclass. Thrown in the misty aftermath of a revered king's removal through a coup d'etat, he carves his way through clouded beliefs and foreign-clad Qing interlopers alike, all in the shade of the fabled lands of 17th century Joseon.It was in this context that I have taken advantage of a few days of respite during the preparation for my dissertation around a month ago and nudged a shot at sketching out this gritty mural for ya. Perhaps cuz it's aged like fine wine, all thanks to the tasteless times we're living these days and what not; because one thing's for sure: in times of crisis, the masses shall always seek out the solace of the media.What follows will too prove to be one riveting tale of finding solace; one that, in my attempt of stitching together the remarkable story told by the Korean film Inside Men, will be taking you through the smoke-surfaced waters of loyalty and servitude that one daring gangster valued more than anything.Amidst a collision with the organized crime world and what it took to be part of it, feral gangster An Sang-Goo places his trust in the hands of one perhaps too influential and too well-intentioned journalist. But as history dictates, appearances can only deceive for so long: you will witness the truest faces soon beginning to finally reveal themselves in one grotesque flourish of delusional grandeur, pushing trust and loyalty to their very edge.With that being said, this description will not be complete, however, without me properly acknowledging the existence and progress of this edit. Sword of Immortality - Blade of the Immortal/Afro Samurai AMV (Akross Con 2019) MrAuditore96 2020-02-09 | The true tale of immortality is told by the video you see unfolding before your very eyes here, ladies and gents. Started as an initially misdirected ambition that my mad lad tanottski and I had in regard to holding our own in 2019's edition of the AllStars IC (our work in AllStars 1: youtu.be/nIU8893PY38), this project took a really unexpected shape that was so much more than a simple "hey this sounds like a samurai beat" : DAs an anime adapted after a manga I've heard a whole lot about and was really interested in myself had just come out on Amazon, I rushed over and went through it all, as 2019's Blade of the Immortal is a true feast for the eyes and soul... well, if blood is also part of the picture you're painting. Aand lots of it. (Master Sori would approve : D). A favourite of the both of us, Afro Samurai then quickly stepped out of the shadows alongside Dan's old flame, Sword of the Stranger, which we thought was a good starting point of a backstory for the killer of 100, Manji the Immortal Swordsman.And that's how this AMV just kept growing, from the aching of a bloodied sheath on wooden floor to a mystical tale of rebirth and revenge that pits Rin Asano and her newly appointed bodyguard Manji on a truly treacherous path, as their past squirms around them like a bouquet of shadows; nonetheless, this tale is deeply engulfed in the mists of Afro Samurai's own tragedy-ridden trail that carves its way through the two's destinies, which were forever changed by encounters with the cold-blooded Afro, both thus now taking the shape of an undying, rage-filled sword that has nowhere else to go than through Afro's blackened heart.The original theme of the vid that marked its IC state was centered around the "Four Auspicious Beasts", four mythological Chinese beasts which we meant to represent our heroes in the main plot of the AMV and that I hope you'll be able to properly identify! Gaksital x Naruto MrAuditore96 2020-01-04 | Yes, that's right, here's something that's not for any kind of contest, just a little thing I saw unfolding in my head when watching this powerful Korean series from 2012 called Gaksital (meaning Bridal Mask). This particular episode was oozing with those familiar vengeance vibes and the way these two main protagonists (turned antagonists) kept throwing jabs at each other til exhaustion made me straight-up think of the Naruto-Sasuke final fight. And well, then this happened. Extended the beginning a little bit to give things more context, though it's actually just a lame excuse for using that powerhouse of a theme song that rocked my world when going through Gaksital cliffhanger to cliffhanger. So, as you can tell for the most part (as the Naruto scenes didn't allow me for a perfect mirroring), I've attempted associating Shunji (the dude in the black suit) and the infamous Bridal Mask (whose real identity is Lee Kang To) with Sasuke and Naruto, respectively, as even the way they were fighting reminded me of the tirelessly brutal have-at-it from Naruto's final eps. Not to mention the similar motivation in their punches: Shunji was spitefully aiming to kill or severely injure and capture Kang To, akin to Sasuke, while the latter was fighting without the intent to kill, just like Naruto.Hope you find it as entertaining as I did!Gaksital OST in the vid:05. The Manchurian Candidate - The Good The Bad The Weird FMV (FreeCon 2019 Finalist) MrAuditore96 2019-12-24 | Oh boooy, and what a run you've had. This little thing you see here dates way back to this year's Aragami IC when their loose cannon first-in-command gave completely free reign as to what sources to use. So that's how this idea was born, a while after first seeing this insanely fun-filled wonky western and completely falling for it: the setting, the music, the characters, pure delight. So as you'll soon discover, this project is my attempt of taking you guys into a seemingly endless gallop through a wildly unpredictable 1939 Manchuria, in which three daring gunslingers make a run for a so-called treasure map embroidered in mystery and obvious danger. Darkest Night - Batman Gotham Knight AMV MrAuditore96 2019-11-04 | Darker wings have carried me towards contexts much more akin to The Hunt this time, as one particular September night's flicker of inspiration shed some light on this yet another amazing combo that you're seeing unfold before your very eyes here... all the while being just in time for EtojeAMVTeam's third IC, Re:Boot. So with a fresh gust of air and a pair of freshly stretched editing pantaloons I simply made the final push and flung myself amidst the chaos depicted in Batham: Gotham Knight's six Gothams. The deeper I was treading into this underdoggish anthology though, the more I thought of its similarly styled sibling, The Animatrix. That's why it didn't take long for this initial spark and a prompt intervention from my brudda tanottus recommending me to run the extra mile and tie this project together by incorporating some Animatrix footage to turn it all into what it is today.So in hindsight, I'm proud of it all. Proud of it being what it is, including a part of Re:Boot's top 10, proud of my chance to interact with such a star-studded group of judges (shout-out to Rey especially for such a humane experience) and last but not least, of the concoction of an idea tanott managed to brew for me when I was first talking about working on this. Hollow Girl - Jin Roh AMV MrAuditore96 2016-08-09 | Hello there, people! I welcome you to a new dawn in what you can call "my video editing career"! I started this video out in order to see if I can pull off scene-based storytelling in a cleaner kind of manner because I was really overwhelmed by my admiration for the people who are already super good at it (won't name any of them now, you know what I'm talking about). The important part is that this video represents my entry for the fifth and final round of ITZPYRO's AMV contest. This time, we had to focus on drama and picture the screen blue with feelings of sadness, regret and dismay over the loss of the loved ones. In order to meet these requirements, I decided to try and tell a bit changed version of the original one in the 1999 movie called Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade, which follows tragic events happening in the period of recovery Japan went through after the nuclear attacks, especially the story of Kazuki Fuse, an expert soldier that served under the special military forces called The Capital Police, that were entrusted to maintain order and protect civilians from the threat of the guerilla group "The Sect". I'll let you find the exact story on your own by following this link here: http://bit.ly/2aJIBqA.The idea based on which I started editing this AMV presumed an attempt to tell a modern version of the "Little Red Riding Hood" story, but since I began this process way too late, I didn't quite manage to pull that off in my opinion, but you'll see for yourself.The story, put simply, follows the trouble Fuse faces after finding this little girl dressed in red in the sewers during a guerilla outbreak, and seeing her die later on causes him severe emotional trauma, making her image be forever stuck in his mind. He later meets a girl who looks almost like her and starts being attached to her, but they both face a threat, being hunted by people who planned a scheme in order to take Fuse down for not being fit for his Capital Police soldier position anymore (all because of the nightmares caused by witnessing that little girl's death), scheme at whose root stands Fuse's best friend from the academy, who I showed in a scene giving Fuse a package. While trying to hide together with the girl somewhere deep in the sewers, Fuse somehow loses sight of her and thinks she's dead so he armors up and goes to hunt down his friend about whom he'd eventually found out the truth. Revenge is had and so the story ends. In the end of the clip you see Fuse being shocked that he finds out the girl is alive, but his revenge was not in vain because evil had been put to sleep once and for all and both his name and that of the Wolf Brigade he was part of cleaned for good.The story in the actual movie is sort of the same, but as I said, I'll let you discover it. :)Also here's a big shout-out to a few people that supported me on this project, even with the slightest bit of help they offered me. Thus, "ninja hurdles". That's also why you could interpret this as a teaser trailer for either the OPM OVA #3, which presents exactly the things mentioned above, or an upcoming spin-off series which focuses on the conflict between Sonic and Saitama. Either way, the main idea remains the same.

I will let you discover this amazing series by yourselves, as it is not your average anime at all. It doesn't hold your hand, has hidden messages all throughout and, to top that off, there's also a period of at least 30 minutes after finishing it in which your brain keeps trying to figure out why exactly it ended in that point and particular way. Each and every comment you guys made the effort to share on my videos gave me the strength and encouraged me to keep channeling all that means creativity that I would eventually transform into content that both you and I enjoy watching and rewatching over and over again (not in all cases, of course! :P) !
