Hi Long time since i made a video, i've mostly stopped making wallpapers so my desire to make videos about wallpapers has also mostly come to an end. I already have a video covering how to manually build a scene audio visualizer but its super annoying and i don't know if anyone would actually take the 30 or some minutes it would take to build it. Using a guide by Tealsword and biohazard and with the help of members of the wallpaper engine discord i've modified the base script and made a 2 step process to add a visualizer into any scene wallpaper.
The tiny 4x4 pixel texture **IMPORTANT** Rename this file to bar.png before importing into wallpaper engine If you want the bars to be another color you must change the color of this image in paint or any other image editor, you cannot change the bar color inside wallpaper engine.** https://i.imgur.com/gkEAs8m.png

This video covers creating simple screen distorting rain effects using the scene editor. These particle systems are not as advanced as real rain simulations but can be easily added into any scene type wallpaper.

A walk though for creating semi realistic Space scene that can be used as a base to add other things into. My earth wallpaper is slightly more complex, merging 2 layers (the day and night sides) which isn't covered in this video.

Higher resolution visualizers are possible with scenescripting, that is far more advanced and not covered in this video.
This video only covers audio responsive shakes and building a simple bar audio visualizer. Particle systems and user created scripts can also make different elements audio responsive, i may make a part 2 covering those, though a lot of the settings are similar.

I wanted to show how to fix two very common things i see in quite a few wallpapers and has to do with how you cut out your images. Getting rid of the white halo around a cutout is fairly easy, the jagged edge is just the result of either using the wrong tool or going too fast.
If anyone has ideas or questions on thing you would like to know how to do in wallpaper engine let me know and i can try to explain them. :)Wallpaper engine - Make Xray go outside your cutoutVell2018-12-06 | Normally the xray effect is bound to the outline of your character (if you use a cutout) you can use composition layers to get around this and add things outside your character if using an xray.Wallpaper engine - adding a delay to a particle systemVell2018-12-03 | Someone asked how i setup the chat boxes in some of my recent wallpapers, this is how.

An easier way to tell them apart instead of using the effects, is to just rename the layer you want to change and search for that name.Wallpaper engine - How to Animated x-ray layersVell2018-11-19 | (assuming your using png cutouts) using the blend texutre only works if the outline of your two character texutres match, or if your reveal layers is smaller or completely inside your base layer. The texture you blend to can't go outside the edge of your base texture, or or works exactly like a clipping mask in photoshop if your familiar with that. I really should have covered swapping the model path instead because it would work always.Wallpaper engine - How to add blinking with shake toolVell2018-11-19 | http://wallpaper-engine.wikia.com/wiki/Tutorial_Eye_Blinking
I'v had a few people ask me how i do blinking, the answer is the tutorial available on the wallpaper engine wiki. This is simply a demo of this tutorial.
near the end of the video i say there are 2 alternate methods i know of to add blinking then only talk about making a gif. The second way is to use those gif frames and load them into a particle system but that is by far the worst way. you cant make a particle system match an image layers movements.Wallpaper engine - Jill Valentine animated wallpaper (full vod uncut)Vell2018-11-10 | character art was done by Dandonfuga
