---------------------------------
This is indeed an unforgiving timed jump puzzle. You can sort of see how I've tried to reduce the number of jumps along the way, especially just after stopping at the first gear with the crowd. Many have resorted to blaming ArenaNet for poor design, lack of reward for time spent falling, etc - but this is energy wasted on anger when they could be taking a break (maybe even sleeping on it) before trying again.
In this video I actually had a 10% increase with air traits. Elementalists have another air trait to further boost speed, but I personally found this to be more difficult. I've gone on to do the jumps with other professions. As long as you remember what is coming up next, and how to overcome the jumps, you can stay ahead of the raising green cloud. There is little breathing room for other unnecessary jumps.
If you haven't already considered, try disabling camera shake and increasing camera rotation speed. The first bit as you see in this video is very crowded. It may be hard to see your character. You can try being in a party with a friend and having them call target on you. Occasionally the camera starts zoomed at varying lengths, so be sure to readjust to what you're use to.
Good luck,
Peter
You'll have to excuse my microphone quality here. I believe I had the wrong mic selected at the time.

As a mesmer your main goal is to confuse your enemies with portals, area veils and lots and lots of copies of yourself.
The intrinsic ability of the mesmer is based alot on these illusions which are basically copies of yourself, that do the things you're perhaps familiar with if you played your Guild Wars 1 mesmer. (Good old) Backfire for instance is an illusion that creates a copy of yourself that damages the opponent whenever this opponent uses a skill. You can have 3 illusions up at one time.
To go a bit further into these illusions, they are of two different groups. Phantasms and clones. Phantasms are your basic hex-like skills, like Backfire, and have their own effects. They are translucent purple versions of you and have some decent health and decent damage. Clones are basically just that, clones. They do little damage and have little health, but they do exactly look like you. The unique mesmer mechanic is based on these illusions, they're called Shatters. They shatter any illusion you have up at that time for bonus effects. These are your F1 to F4 skills.
And that's just the basics! To fully read up on the mesmer go to the mesmer page at http://bit.ly/t4XIVY. Do not forget to go to the main Guild Wars 2 page as well, for a special surprise at http://bit.ly/uCzwTf (it takes a while to load).
ArenaNet has vastly improved upon it's characters in cinematic discussions. Their guestures and lip-sync have been completely refined making characters more unique and a lot more realistic - human even!
"After some prototyping and experimenting, we decided to use a layered approach to the cinematic-conversation animation system, utilizing motion capture, hand-keyed animation, additive animation, and very robust lip-synching software." - Chunk Jackman
Catch up on exactly how this is all done in their latest blog entry! http://bit.ly/vJrtA1

http://www.arena.net/blog/video-audio-team-field-recording-trip
The ArenaNet Audio Team drove down to Satsop, Washington - to record sounds using a site of a nuclear power plant that was never completed.
Using the cooling towers, which stand 500 feet high, they would make noise and record the impulse responses needed to generate the reverb they want in new sound effects.
The reactor building has several more types of rooms where they experimented getting more sounds, many of which sounded pretty scary.
The team went the extra mile, or literally over 1/5 of a mile, to blast sounds from a PA speaker, down to a 1350 feet tunnel that connected two cooling towers. There they achieved reverb times of 45 seconds at RT90.

It feels almost like a waste that 1 hour and 20 minutes got compressed down to less than 5 minutes of your view time! You could watch more upcoming live drawing sessions like this on GuildWars2Live.com!

Random notes
--------------------
Tigerfeet finished this in one sitting in approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
This video was edited by @Peter_Chan, who thought slowing back down to real time at random moments would allow the viewer to appreciate the art piece more.
Time has been compressed down to 4-5% of the original during fast forwards.
Peter wants to show that 480p is still good.
Tigerfeet has confirmed that "9/11" implies the month and year she painted this.

Other notes

If you are paying attention Peter says "World Gaming Entertainment Network" instead of "Gaming World". Oops! Peter is the evil master mind behind GuildWars2Live.com. Follow him on Twitter @Peter_Chan.
The awesome audio quality is thanks to Mahmud Moral. A jack of all trades when it comes to photography, film, lighting, audio, story boarding and directing. Follow him on Twitter @mmoral.
Unfortunately, due to all the rules, regulations, and laws, it's unfeasible for us as a fan site and community to extend the giveaway outside of North America. We fully understand that it can be frustrating that these things always seem to be limited to the US, but we are looking at possible ways we can achieve European giveaways in the future. Again, our sincerest apologies, we do still love our European visitors and fellow Guild Wars 2 fans.
Want to see more? Please thumbs up our videos for our hard work. :)

Heron Prior shares the challenges and fun he had creating the animations for the Asura. As the animation team lead for Guild Wars 2, him and his team's goal is to ultimately bring alive the characters as intended by the concept artists. Given that the Asura are so small in comparison to the other races and creatures of the world, they've come up with some creative ways to show how the Asura hold their own (even without sitting in a golem).
See the updated Asura page here: http://bit.ly/qevHzR
The greatest physical example of asuran magical mastery is their mighty city, Rata Sum. Starting with no more than a set of scattered ruins belonging to a failed race, the asura erected a testament to their power. Now dominating the surrounding area, Rata Sum is a huge floating cube riddled with interior passages, its upper reaches divided into smaller cubes.

"The Asura may be short in stature, but this subterranean race of magical inventors are intellectual giants."

Okay. We lied. There was no such thing as a community challenge to unlock the lore panel. However we were in fact buying time to figure out why couldn't we render out this 55 minute panel properly and how to make it easier for your to hear the speakers! At last the solution is to break it up into parts unfortunately, so we left out our cool golem and other effects. Do remember to check out GuildWars2Live.com and tell your friends about us though. ;)
Again, we did what we could with the distance from the panelists. A quality headset is recommended if you want to be able to hear most words.
In this panel, ArenaNet game designers and world-builders Jeff Grubb and Ree Soesbee will join writers Sean Ferguson and Scott McGough to discuss how they make Guild Wars 2 come alive by creating compelling game lore and writing the everyday interactions players have with other characters while adventuring. How do game designers collaborate with writers to build a cohesive game world? You'll find out in this informative, thought-provoking panel.

FrizzFreston, professional boob watcher of the GW2Live Euro team, got the opportunity to be one of the first of the public to play through the alpha demo of WildStar. WildStar had just been announced at Gamescom, a new NCsoft game developed by Carbine.
The video has been recorded off screen with in-game audio. Carbine was nice enough to even add more time to our demo so that you see it right through to the first boss encounter!
