Tonnes of sounds from a single patch! - AE Modular #aemodular #synthstromdeluge #modularsynth RSKT - The Capable Musician 2025-01-22 | Here's a short compilation of sounds from my new AE Modular rack, and it's all from just one single patch. With a bunch of modulation options from 2Auto and Modulators, it focuses on using Rings as an oscillator. That itself already offers up a load of options for sound design, but the real magic here comes from the Switch Matrix. At the press of a button, I can choose between 8 different routing setups for effects, meaning I don't have to keep patching or unpatching thigs. The effects include a gnarly Grunge Filter, MultiFX module, and the Stomp I/O (which is sending to the Empress Zoia and back). The Deluge is just being used as a midi controller here.All in all, this is the most fun I've had with my modular so far. So many unique sounds waiting to be discovered. Navigator - RSKT (AE Modular, Deluge Zoia) RSKT - The Capable Musician 2023-03-09 | Something a bit different today. It's not so much a song as it is just me noodling around with a modular patch I made. The AEM is just running two oscillators and some sequenced pulse width modulation. That all runs into the Deluge (which is also sequencing the modular via midi). The Deluge is also being used to play a different melody over the top using the isomorphic keyboard.This all runs into the Zoia, which is doing so much. It's adding delay, reverb and EQ, before being sent to a mixer. On a separate page there is a granulator which has a few controls being modulated by an LFO. This goes through an EQ which drops all of the low end and then heads into a mixer. The amplitude for the 2 different sounds going into the mixer are starred so that I can easily control them using the knob.So yeah, no song here but all in all it was a very fun and meditative experience to put this all together.
