The size of this area varies depending on the attack. It makes one attack roll, and compares that to the AC of each creature in its Area of Attack. It then rolls one damage roll, and deals that damage to each creature it hits. The attack roll only has advantage or disadvantage if the attacker would have advantage or disadvantage against every target in the area.When applying these rules to a monster you create, assume the attack hits two targets when determing its DPR. When applying it to a pre-existing monster, count one attack as two for the purposes of things like multiattack.
