I kid you not i heard this songs trailer on tiktok, stood up, zombie walked to my computer, and just ran with the 30 seconds of content thats consumed my entire for you page because DAMN IT I WANTED IN ON THE FEMININE RAGE!!!!!!!!!!! The full song comes out later this month by an indie artist and you should 1000% support her when it comes out!! I'll be sure to update the description with all the full song details but for now i'll include her general links :)Anyway this is an oc pmv from my original series darkened paths!! you know, the one i've dedicated my life to and am avidly working on making a duology series with an audio book adaptation. yea that one its still alive and better than ever now that im not a teenager anymore! cheers! making this made me realize how nuanced and far its come since i can now see the themes and relationships ive always HAD but never fully fleshed out past a concept. ill go in further below with spoilers/details but yea!! super happy with what i could crank out in only a few days between work. i love my kidsWhats going on in this video? DP-FOTC spoilers, obviouslyTLDR; Spunky is in an abusive relationship with Wire and he's controlled their daughters life since birth to turn her against her mom and favor him. In the end this gets their daughter killed and he blames it on Spunky.FULL; Spunky and Wire have been together for years in the company of their neighborhood cat colony. Wire quickly charmed and trapped her in a spiraling relationship of control and imbalanced power dynamics, sealing the deal by having a daughter- Cherry- with her. Spunkys brain feels like mush the longer she spends with him because she KNOWS this isn't right, but he gaslights her enough to make her stay. She's miserable and the fact that he's corrupting Cherry against her own mom immensely hurts her. After a while she begins to tune out Wire and Cherry, steadily separating herself from them as Wire seems to be content with having a clone of himself. She moves on from her distant daughter and saves/adopts a young boy named Heliconius (chubby black cat) during an earthquake. Shortly after, a young girl named Trash (calico) gets in the mix. Their cat colony group takes her as a servant, a hostage to taunt. Cherry bullies her relentlessly. One thing leads to another and Wire severely injures Trash in a fit of frustration and she runs crying to Spunky and Heliconius to help. They're both too powerless to do anything. Time passes and the kids grow up. Cherry falls deeper into Wires grasp and Trash discovers outside assistance to get her out of this mess. Trash maims Cherry and kills her. A fight breaks out between the group, leading to Wire blaming Spunky for Cherrys death as Heliconius and Trash defend her. JOINING THIS MAP ON AN IMPULSE WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST THINGS IVE EVER DONE. thank you SO much for allowing me this opportunity to create one of my favorite things ive ever made and to experiment SO much and have such a good time! i am so tremendously proud of this animation and how far my work as come as a whole, skill wise and characters. this was a masterclass in my understanding of clip studio paint bc it was done ENTIRELY there. oh my god. ITS DONE!!!!!!!! yall are so nice in the server, this project is coming along INCREDIBLY so please please keep an eye out for it you won't wanna miss it!!!SYMBOLISM TIME!!!!!! let me break down my part frame by frame....this part is seen through the eyes of Trash, the orange calico. the stained glass/wings/eye halo is her version of rose tinted glasses, everything is cool and great. until it all snaps and it isnt and reality is hard.while tarot/major arcana is Not christian based, i used it for that EXACT reason, being that its Off Kilter and Different and noticeably Not The Same and added to my theme of 2 opposing tracks/realities. dont look too deep into it it works for me and its pretty x the maps about symbolism overall trash on the building glass - the fool major arcana. new beginnings, innocence, faith in the future, beginners luck.^ trash on the building glass FLIPPED - chaos, folly, lack of judgement, naivety, stupidity.shade stained glass - the empress major arcana. maternity, pregnancy, new opportunity, stability^ shade then turns into the tower card - danger, crisis, unexpected change, catastrophe- trash snaps from her holy eye halo and wings to the real, current situation she is in, in the church with shade, dawn and flare.- the outside of the church, reality as well. a crow watches.- a candelabra inside the real church. a single flame goes out as blood hits the glass, both real and symbolic with....- THE KISS OF JUDAS RECREATED WITH THE CAST OF DARKENED PATHS. Best decision ever, this was my absolute favorite hosting project in all my years of maps, nothing could compare to the amount of fun we had in that Discord! I've never been apart of something SO involved and active and im so sad to see it reach the end! Yet im delighted that WE DID IT! WE FINISHED! Rasputin {Darkened Paths Map} .:Part 28:. ShadowedKing 2020-11-13 | TW: BLOOD AND CARTOON CAT DEATH ///oh my god.. my 3rd and final rasputin part.. is completed... this part has been through an absolute WHIRLWIND HURRICANE TORNADO DISASTER. so i started this part over a year ago in wmm and got all the way to lineart. then. as we know., i lost access to using wmm when i updated my computer and lost all of my files in it which REALLY set me back and made me so upset i just didnt touch the stuff i had started in it for a while. this part was hit specifically hard because its for my Own map that (at the time) was kinda loose on deadline so i felt i could just slack on it. and so i didnt touch it for the longest time because i was learning vegas and was so intimidated by it JGHSDJVJH but this past week i sat down and tidied everything up again, brushed the dust off and went HARD!!!!! AND FINISHED IT!! im so very excited to mark this off my to do list and never look at it again LOL it was so much fun and AHHH RASPUTIN HAS 8 PARTS LEFTive already sent out messages to everyone involved but : rasputin final parts are due before the end of this year! but if that isnt possible by this point then before march and ill be checking in Frequently in the time leading up to it. i just want this map done yall.... pleapseepslaspelaple pleaseUPDATE: THREE RASPUTIN PARTS GOT DONE THIS WEEK AND I HAVE CONTACT WITH EVERYBODY LEFT???
