GTA Vice City: City run MacraStraba 2011-09-01 | Lapped drive around Vice City in 7 minutes and 50 seconds, using Lance Vance's white Infernus sports car from the Vercetti Estate. Being a 100% completed save, player-driven cars can withstand twice the amount of damage than normal. Still, even they didn't, chances are they'll still make this through this run. Like GTA3, one of the worst things about this game's traffic is that it's nearly impossible to know if a car ahead will turn at an intersection. This is also the first game in the series to include those pesky reckless NPC drivers; you'll never tell if one of these assholes swerves out of nowhere head-on to your car. The draw distance for vehicles is also poorer than in GTA3, resulting in vehicles and pedestrians spawning closer to you and making it harder to maneuver around obstacles. The car driven is apparently damage proof, but it was found in the Staunton garage and was likely to have been obtained through an exploit in a mission. Best to make good use of it since it's there. GTA San Andreas: State run MacraStraba 2010-11-22 | San Andreas-wide run from Los Santos, to San Fierro, to (southern) Las Venturas, and back to LS and Grove Street. Had to skip LV proper just to keep within the length of the music (7 minutes and 22 second). The car (a Banshee) is only modified with 10x Nitro and a custom body color. Not as easy as it looks. It's not the route you need to worry about but the insanely suicidal NPC traffic along the LS-SF and LS-LV stretches that you have to dodge as they constantly veer, flip, crash, or change lanes abruptly ahead of you. I was incredibly lucky nothing much was in the way to screw up this attempt. It'll be a miracle if your car ever makes to the end without a scratch. PS: The beep at the end is from Windows.
