Tim wrote this song in memory of Layne & Mike. Backstory told to me by Branom:“I woke up one day and decided that I wanted to do something for both Layne and Mike but my artistic abilities have gone away but I am still a good songwriter. So I decided to write them the best song that I could. Having known them through the years and things that they said, I was able to add in some of their phrases and things that they would often say. They both told their mothers that they would be a star. So that line is real. And it was really hard for me to get through this song when I performed it at the Layne tribute, and I had to close my eyes and not look at the audience, Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to make it through.•I should also tell you, and you can tell this however, you feel fit, but this was the first time it was ever played on stage with a full band.
