Connor Kelly & The Time Warp are on a mission to shatter the sonic mold while keeping the heart and soul of Rock & Roll alive and kicking. Drawing heavy doses of inspiration from legends like Pink Floyd, Radiohead, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, these guys are cooking up a sound that nods respectfully to the giants of the genre while injecting their own freakishly unique twist. Their latest drop, “Distant Forest,” has racked up a cool 5 million streams, and they’ve hit the road with indie darlings like The Backseat Lovers, Vista Kicks, and Moon Taxi. With Connor Kelly, Ben Kelly, Aiden Lamb, and Daniel Ryan at the helm, these cosmic rockers are set to blow the lid off the space-time continuum.

Somewhere in the electric space between Tom Petty's no-nonsense hooks and Queen's extravagant solos, Plastic Harpoons carve out a sound that’s unmistakably their own. This Santa Barbara outfit isn’t just a band—they're a revival, a breath of fresh air in an era that's desperate for the raw, unpolished energy of true rock 'n' roll. With a line-up boasting dual guitars, keys, bass, and drums, they don't merely hint at nostalgia—they catapult listeners back to a time when music was about flesh-and-blood musicians in a room, jamming out riffs they genuinely love.
Plastic Harpoons’ sonic tapestry weaves the textures of Indie Rock with threads of Classic Rock, Americana, and Pop. It's a laid-back yet punchy concoction, brewed under the sun-soaked skies of Southern California. Their eclectic influences range from the whimsical echoes of Dr. Dog and the storytelling prowess of Bob Dylan to the timeless drive of The Rolling Stones and the operatic grandeur of Queen. Toss in some modern vibes from Mt. Joy, Lord Huron, Fruit Bats, and Houndmouth, and you’ve got a sound that’s both refreshing and familiarly nostalgic.
Their debut album, "Modern World," was crafted at the legendary Savannah Studios in Los Angeles. It didn’t take long for Lolipop Records to see the potential in these rock revivalists, snapping them up for a deal that would lead to their album dropping on November 30th. With a tour brewing for early 2023, Plastic Harpoons are gearing up to take their evocative, genre-blending sound on the road, bringing the spirit of classic American rock back to life, one riff at a time.
Plastic Harpoons is:
Taylor Casey - Lead Vocals, Guitar
Daniel Vasquez - Lead Guitar, Vocals
Sean Renken - Bass, Vocals
Bijan Firouzan - Drums, Vocals
Setlist
00:00 - "Midnight Train"
04:29 - "Meet Me in the Middle"

A musician and comedian based in Los Angeles, Morgan has made appearances on MTV’s Wild’N’Out, NBC, and Comedy Central. Morgan has carved out his own genre of performance art and comedy creating a show built on imperfection, authenticity, relatability, shared experience and connection.
He’s Brazilian and Italian which for some reason makes him the guy from Ratatouille. Low key, he’s actually a trained actor graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. He’s won multiple awards and festivals but none of that stuff really matters anymore because he has a lot of followers on social media and THAT’s all the matters. HE HAS A SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE and a blue check mark. I’m just saying he’s a huge deal. That’s all I’m saying.

Explaining Marty O’Reilly’s music is like describing a dream. It feels familiar, but at the same time unchartered. His songs sound bluesy but not blues, folk but not folk, soulful but not soul. Marty’s voice is beautiful and unique, his lyrics stark yet lush over gritty electrified guitar, melding beautifully into genre-defying music within the vast definitions of Americana. One can hear an urgency and complexity in the songs, expressing something elemental and perhaps contradictory: love and anger, joy and pain, real and imagined.
The live performance is at the core of Marty’s projects. On stage, whether accompanied by a band, or alone, he enters a trance and the music is born again as something new every night. It’s what his followers call “magic”. He goes from raw gospel blues to cinematic epics, from heavy driving grooves to delicately arranged folk songs. Marty leaves the stage out of breath and sweaty, his audience in awe. It's hard to describe, impossible to categorize. Yet people who know the music will try to explain it to you, just as you might struggle to explain a dream in the morning. The details might slip away as you recount them, but the feeling remains.
“I started playing music as medicine for myself to feel good and digest some melancholy,” Marty leaves off. “Over time, I realized if music makes me feel good, the people around me who become a part of it will feel good too. It connects us on the same wavelength. I hope to give the world something real and refreshing.

The sound of Wolf Jett will make you dance, sing, and possibly even howl! Its roots run deep through the soul and help heal the heaviness of life. Their music is a celebration of perseverance, infusing folk, blues and americana into what can only be described as "Cosmic Mountain Music.” Frontman Chris Jones was born in the south and raised in CA. His songs combine the best of both worlds to create a vibe that is fresh, yet immediately familiar to a broad audience. He is joined by long-time musical collaborator Jon Payne on drums, Duncan Shipton on bass and Will Fourt on lap steel/guitar. Often featuring Laura T. Lewis on vocals/percussion and other special guests, to boot.
Wolf Jett was conceived in late 2019 with the intent of bringing people together and putting smiles on their faces. Just prior to the release of their debut album (backed by 3 multi-state tours and various festival appearances) the world was brought to a screeching halt by pandemic. To adapt, they constructed an analog studio at Jon’s residence called “House on a Hill" in Boulder Creek, CA. Unfortunately, the CZU Lightning fires ripped through Big Basin State Park in August that year, consuming the house and new studio along with it. Their story was featured in SF Chronicle, Oakland Tribune, San Jose Mercury, and Santa Cruz Sentinel. Seeing an opportunity to help their community heal, they recorded a breathtaking emotional live video among the ashes and rubble of where House on a Hill once stood with the help of their friends, the T Sisters. Their song "Garden of Pain" has since become a local favorite.
Their latest release (March 2024), “Time Will Finally Come”, was produced by Jonathan Kirchner and is now available on streaming/vinyl/cd. Their debut album was picked up by Warner Chappell Music. They have performed with Bay Area greats California Honeydrops, The Brothers Comatose, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Mother Hips, Midnight North, T Sisters, Marty O’Reilly, Sam Chase, and recorded with Jason Crosby (Jackson Browne), Stelth Ulvang (the Lumineers), James Deprato (Chuck Prophet), and Eric Yates (Hot Buttered Rum). Their music is in rotation on local radio stations KPIG, KZSC, KRML, KBCZ, KSQD in Santa Cruz, WNCW in North Carolina and WDVX in Tennessee.

Introducing Posey La Fleur, the indie-rock sensation hailing from the San Fernando Valley. Posey's musical journey began in local venues during their teenage years, culminating in the formation of the acclaimed band Deluna in Berkeley, California, in 2015. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2020, Posey embarked on a solo venture, releasing three hit singles while collaborating with notable artists like Elizabeth Woolf and Stupid Hobby.
Despite facing challenges as a female bassist and singer songwritter, including a trademark dispute that briefly halted their music's digital distribution, Posey persevered, rebranding as Posey La Fleur and debuting new material in November. Currently, Posey is gearing up for the re-release of previous singles alongside fresh tracks under the new moniker.
Rooted in a passion for storytelling and social commentary, Posey's songwriting reflects personal experiences and broader cultural narratives. Their work aims to capture moments in time, evoking relatable emotions and sparking connections with listeners. For Posey, music is a collaborative journey, an opportunity to craft art that resonates long beyond their time, fueled by a deep appreciation for the transformative power of love in all its forms.

Meet The Thing, a dynamic four-piece hailing from the bustling streets of New York City. Their story traces back to high school days, where Michael Carter, Jack Bradley, and Zane Acord found common ground in their shared passion for the raw energy of rock & roll. Influenced by the groundbreaking sounds of 60s icons like The Kinks and Grand Funk Railroad, as well as the eclectic mix found on the Nuggets compilation, they began their journey of musical exploration.
Through years of self-recording and relentless songwriting sessions, The Thing cultivated their signature sound – a fusion of vintage vibes with a modern twist, drawing inspiration from contemporary trailblazers such as Brian Jonestown Massacre, King Gizzard, and The Black Keys.
Their ascent to prominence kicked off with electrifying performances across New York City's vibrant music scene, igniting a fervent following among true music aficionados. As their reputation spread like wildfire, The Thing embarked on a whirlwind tour along the East Coast, delivering their infectious energy to eager audiences far and wide.
In April 2023, they unleashed their debut album, "Here’s The Thing," a labor of love that encapsulates their musical evolution. From the hills of Sharon, CT to the heart of Crown Heights, and finally, within the confines of their East Williamsburg studio, Onion Records, each track is imbued with the band's unwavering commitment to authenticity and their unbridled passion for the essence of rock & roll.
With their debut record making waves, The Thing is far from slowing down. With the addition of Lucas Ebeling on the drums, they're on an unstoppable trajectory, touring relentlessly, crafting new sonic adventures, and poised to make an even bigger splash with their highly anticipated second album, aptly titled "The Thing Is." Stay tuned as they continue to redefine the boundaries of modern rock & roll.

Sego - Jam in the Van (Full Live Music Set in Austin, TX)
Blurring the lines between indie rock and alternative dance music, Sego emerges as a dynamic force in the realm of lyric-forward sounds, melding freewheeling melodies with an undercurrent of anxious energy. From the dance-pop pulsations of their debut EP, "Wicket Youth," to the introspective indie rock explorations of their sophomore album, "Sego Sucks," the band has continually pushed the boundaries of sonic experimentation.
Originating from the vibrant music scene of Provo, Utah, frontman Spencer Petersen, once a music major at BYU, and drummer Thomas Carroll made their way to the eclectic landscape of Los Angeles as part of the indie rock collective Eyes Lips Eyes. It was there that Petersen's solo songwriting journey began, eventually joining forces with Carroll to birth the mesmerizing soundscape of Sego's debut EP under Kitsuné Music in 2014.
Their musical evolution continued with the addition of Alyssa Davey on bass and Brandon McBride on guitar/keyboards, transforming their quartet into a powerhouse of sonic innovation. The result? A gritty, rock-infused masterpiece titled "Once Was Lost Now Just Hanging Around," released on Dine Alone and Raygun Records (U.K.) in 2016. Their electrifying live performances alongside OK Go in 2017 solidified their status as ones to watch in the indie rock circuit.
As the world grappled with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sego adapted and evolved, welcoming multi-instrumentalist Kathleen Frewin into the fold. Their resilience shone through with the release of the epic 17-minute opus, "Life with Pam," in October 2020, showcasing their unyielding commitment to pushing musical boundaries.
Now, with venues reopening and a renewed sense of creative vigor, Sego returns with a tantalizing glimpse into their latest sonic experimentations. Teaming up with producer Nate Pyfer, known for his work with Kaskade and The Moth & the Flame, they unveil "TANDANG" in March 2023—a seductive blend of alt-pop and rap that serves as a testament to their ever-evolving sound.
As Sego continues to carve their own path in the musical landscape, one thing remains certain: their journey is far from over. With each release, they invite listeners to join them on a sonic adventure where the only limit is the imagination.

Common Kings are more than a band of musicians, they are a family, a lifestyle, a community, a brother and sisterhood, having grown up together in California’s Orange County, four college mates who first met at a backyard barbeque 20-some years ago. Music was the common bond for these Pacific Islanders (all but one first-generation Americans) who have together transcended their Polynesian reggae roots to achieve pop crossover success since releasing their first music in 2011 – Samoan-born Hawaiian lead singer Sasualei “Jr. King” Maliga and Hawaii-raised Samoan guitarist Taumata “Mata” Grey; Fiji-born bassist Ivan “Uncle Lui” Kirimaua, and L.A.-born Tongan drummer Jerome “Big Rome” Taito. The band has toured with Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Meghan Trainor, Fifth Harmony and CeeLo as well as headlining their own shows and music festivals around the country and world.

Orange Jams is a series of live sessions hosted by Orange & Jam in the Van which features Orange ambassadors from across the globe.
The American south isn't just Brent Cobb's home. It's his muse, too. A Georgia native, he fills his Grammy-nominated songwriting with the sounds and stories of an area that's been home to southern rockers, soul singers, country legends, and bluesmen. Cobb has a name for that rich tapestry of music — “southern eclectic" — and he offers up his own version of it with his newest album, Southern Star.
“Down here, there's a lot going on and there's nothing going on at the same time," he says. “You've got all these different cultures in the south, and everything is mixed in together. Otis Redding and Little Richard were from the same town in Georgia. So were the Allman Brothers. James Brown and Ray Charles grew up right down the road. All these sounds reflect the South itself, and that music has influenced the whole world. It's definitely influenced mine."
During the months leading up to Southern Star's release, Cobb spent much of his time on the road, playing to stadium crowds of 60,000 people as Luke Combs' opening act. Perhaps that's why Southern Star feels so well-timed. Not only is it a snapshot of an artist at the peak of his songwriting abilities; it's also a love letter to his southern roots, made all the more potent by his recent travels.
“You know how when you’re growing up, you're told that if you ever get lost out there, look for the northern star to help find direction back home?" he asks. “Well, I'm from Georgia, so I always look for the southern star. This album, the songs, the sounds… they're all a product of where I'm from, both musically and environmentally. Historically and presently, that area also happens to be the same place that cultivated a good many of the most influential artists in the whole world of music. Music as we know it would not exist without the American south. It's funky and sentimental. It's simple and complex."
With Brent Cobb, the southern star shines on.

Grayson Capps exudes a relaxed demeanor, evident in the soothing tone of his voice and his thoughtful reflections on life. This tranquility doesn't stem from complacency but rather from personal growth and acceptance, allowing him to write with honesty and humanity. His latest solo album, 'Scarlett Roses,' marks a six-year hiatus, showcasing understated brilliance born from detached creativity and unhurried songwriting. Capps, who once adhered to self-imposed deadlines, found a newfound peace by abandoning expectations, creating a dedicated writing space in his backyard, and allowing songs to evolve organically.
Initially known for his unbridled energy and authenticity, Capps emerged as a solo artist in 2005. After Hurricane Katrina, he relocated and released acclaimed albums, earning devoted followings. Despite his prolific output, the break allowed Capps to undergo significant personal changes and gain a deeper understanding of his place in the world.

In the throes of a global pandemic, Mama Magnolia, the resilient bicoastal sextet featuring the dynamic ensemble of vocalist Megan Letts, saxophonist Alex Cazet, guitarist Thomas Jennings, drummer Jackson Hillmer, trumpeter Carrie McCune, and bassist Zach Jackson, defied the odds by crafting their inaugural opus, "Dear Irvington." Navigating the storm of inter-band romances and cross-country relocations over their half-decade journey, the indie-soul collective emerged as a steadfast lifeline for its members. In a time of turmoil, Mama Magnolia, fueled by a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign, tapped producer Robert Ellis and ex-White Denim drummer Josh Block to weave sonic alchemy into their intricate rock compositions.
"Dear Irvington" stands as a sonic manifesto, capturing the ensemble at the zenith of their creative prowess. A cinematic coming-of-age narrative, the album is a testament to the band's musical and lyrical identity, a heartfelt missive introducing the world to Mama Magnolia. The emotionally charged journey delves into the complexities of human experience, fearlessly exploring themes of depression, betrayal, and the trials of unrequited love. The record's uncharted sonic landscapes serve as a backdrop for Mama Magnolia's metamorphosis, as they grapple with and grow from the depths of their collective soul.
Frontwoman Megan Letts reflects on the project, describing it as a lifeline during the chaos, a beacon of connection in times of isolation. "Dear Irvington" not only bears witness to the band's unwavering resilience but also marks a profound step forward in their artistic evolution. With each track, the ensemble bounces between acceptance, catharsis, and introspection, inviting listeners into a musical odyssey that transcends the confines of genre. Mama Magnolia's debut opus is a vibrant tapestry of sound and emotion, a compelling testament to the transformative power of artistic expression in the face of adversity.
