First impressions, full flipthrough, a look through the guidebook, and four oracle pairings. Let's get into it.The Dream of Nile Tarot Golden Horus Edition is a Thoth-system deck by Emma Zhang of Dream Vision Space. The entire deck is built around ancient Egyptian mythology. Every Major Arcana card is tied to a specific deity. Thoth is the Magus, Ma'at holds Adjustment, Horus is the Sun. The court cards are renamed too: Apprentice, Warrior, Goddess, and God, each assigned to a deity of their element. The symbolism is layered throughout: the Ankh, the Flower of Life, scarab beetles, serpents. It rewards slow looking.The Golden Horus Edition is the renewed version of the original. Cards are printed on 400gsm artisan stock with a velvet matte finish. Every element has gold foil stamping on it. The box and guidebook are both wrapped in 150gsm metallic paper.
