Stray (Game) Menu Theme | Piano Cover | with Sheet Music acuity1980 2022-07-27 | This is my interpretation/transcription of the menu theme of Stray; a game for the PlayStation that seems to be very popular with cats all around the world. 😺 The soundtrack is composed by Yann Van Der Cruyssen although the menu theme doesn't appear on the original soundtrack. The first two thirds of my cover are sort of an interpretation of what you can hear in the original. Shackletons Cross by Howard Goodall (Piano Cover) acuity1980 2017-12-15 | Hello everyone, This is my cover of the solo piano arrangement of the piece Shackleton's Cross by Howard Goodall. I heard it on Classic FM the other day and just had to play it straight away. It has that feeling of melancholy and faded glory, which to me fits very well with what the piece is about. Here is the description that can be found on HowardGoodall.co.uk : Scored for oboe, trumpet and chamber orchestra, this work was inspired by a painting by Edward Seago. The title refers to a cross which was erected to the memory of Sir Earnest Shackleton who lead a number of explorations to the Antarctic. Shackleton died in 1922 whilst on a Polar expedition, and the cross can be found on a promontory at the entrance to the bay at Grytviken Whaling Station in South Georgia. The painting is owned by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, and was part of an exhibition at Buckingham Palace from October 2011 to April 2012.I hope you enjoy my cover, ~Alex

Again, it has been a while, sorry! We moved house pretty much exactly three months ago into a lovely little barn conversion in the middle on nowhere, and as it goes with barn conversions in the middle of nowhere, they usually don´t have an internet connection. So we´ve been living offline since three months now and it is a little bit of a different life! We do hope that it will get sorted out soon though. In the meantime, we make it work with my wife taking my video to her workplace (including this description, haha!), going in early and uploading it for me. :) Anyway, this is a little something that I came up with when I was playing random stuff on the piano. I thought it sounded kind of cool and I decided to record it. Only after the fact I tried to think of a name for it and Black Hole came to mind. I hope you like it and please do listen to it with headphones. The bass notes ringing throughout the whole ending can´t really be appreciated properly without headphones I think.
