Region-Wide Auction House Merger; What does it mean for you? WTBGold 2022-07-01 | Holy cow, so today Linxy posted on the forums an "Auction House Update: Region-Wide Commodities," essentially saying that Blizzard will be merging all auction houses (for commodities) starting in patch 9.2.7. This is a massive change for all players, not just goldmakers, and there's a ton of both good and bad that it brings. Honestly, I'm still not sure how I feel about it, but here's my initial partially-thought-out reaction to this auction house merge. Sorry for not taking a hard stance either way (imo, videos are more fun if you can rally either with or against the youtuber) but I think it's too big of a change for anyone to be all for it or all against it. How to Farm the New Druid Glyphs for Inscribers in Patch 9.1.5 WTBGold 2021-11-06 | Today we're making gold in WoW with our Inscriptorists. Haven't had new glyphs in a while and Blizzard unloaded a whole bunch on us this patch so get out there, farm em up, and let's make some gold!Only thing I didn't mention in the video is that these unlock the new forms forever, rather than being a consumed appearance change. So whereas glyphs tend to hold their value because any time someone wants to change something's appearance, they have to buy a new glyph, here they don't. Use it once and you unlock bat form forever. As a druid, I like that, but it kinda goes against the history of the profession. Shadowlands Starving Shadowstalkers Skinning Guide | Desolate Leather and Callous Hide Farming WTBGold 2020-12-12 | Hey there, guys! Today we've got the best Desolate Leather and Callous Hide skinning spot I've found in Shadowlands. I initially ran across this spot because I saw a multiboxer farming it, so I'm not the first person to find it, but it's great, at 1300+ desolate leather per hour consistently. To Blizzard & WoW Developers: I do think this shadowlands skinning farm should be nerfed, but I think the panthers just force spawn a little too fast. SHADOWLANDS GATHERING - Shell of What it Could Be WTBGold 2020-05-16 | Finally got Merch: teespring.com/stores/wtbgold-merchI'm normally super upbeat, but there's something about the Shadowlands Alpha that's been bothering me. Bigger than just the professions, but let's look at that as a case study.Background:Throughout WoW, we've had a motif that "Authoritarian is bad." Garrosh was stern but believed in honor. When he started caging warlocks against their will though, we had to fight back. Xera tried to cleanse Illidan against his will, so even though light is good, we had to fight back. Sylvanas was a banshee bae, but when she went all Teldrassil, we had to fight back. In the Shadowlands alpha, the good guys of Bastion essentially cleanse people of their misdeeds by torturing them. Good in the long run but some don't want to do it. The leaders insist. This is something we've been trained to fight against, but instead, there's a quest where you literally beat the depressed and doubtful followers into submission. When they rebel against the authoritarian jerks, we side with the leaders and fight against the rebellion that we would be leading in any other expansion. This isn't WoW, and is the quest that had me take a step back and take a more critical look at the systems of the new expansion. Shadowlands is still beautiful. The quests are great. The combat feels good. There are cool profession things coming even if nothing changes, but something has dramatically changed in the underlying values that the stories are telling and the methods they're using to tell them. BEST FARM IN 8.3 | 50k-100k GPH Questionable Meat and Dredged Leather Farming WTBGold 2020-02-04 | I didn't focus on it enough in the vid, but you don't need skinning for this spot. While I got 69k and 86k in my tests while skinning the dredged leather off the wolves, you're still able to get 10-15k per hour just off looting the raw gold and questionable meat. In fact you'd be able to get more questionable meat than that if you aren't "wasting time" skinning. The group farm aspect of it is a pretty big deal too. While King's Rest is a linear dungeon, it has a lot of trash so your group will have interesting route considerations in order to time your keys.
