Very quick summary:

Seaheart (one with flower) returns from her journey to find the missing heirs, comes back to find her mate, Ospreytalon (angry ghost) in charge of the clan, who attacks one of the heirs (Daffodilheart) , revealing that he was the one who caused them to go missing. After spending maybe 3 moons with the heirs + Stagheart (Daffodil’s sister), Sea defends Daffdoil and tries getting Osprey off of her, who then starts attacking Sea instead. He goes on about being betrayed (because he’s mad and paranoid and stuff now) by Sea and Osprey’s followers start joining in, until Seaheart kills Ospreytalon. He then becomes an angry ghost and Seaheart mourns the loss of the cat she once loved :(

Stormcrest 2025-08-12 | I wanted to make something in case I am unable to use yt tomorrow due to the ai verification update. I will be boycotting and won’t be online until they remove the update, which may not even happen. I doubt this is the last video I’ll ever make, but if it is just know how amazing it’s been over the past 3 years, from finding my artstyle and being confident in my art abilities, to making edits of my ocs and creating a story that I hope will be shared fully one day.

Literally speedran this entire thing and did it in a day, it was originally going to be a wcue edit but those take too long, so I opted for just drawing it, I sort of combined my usual style with a sort of medieval style which looks pretty cool imo.

I’m not going to write down the story but just know that Sea and Osprey are in love but Osprey hates clan beliefs so he kills the leader to take over the clan and rid them of religion. Meanwhile Sea and another cat Stagheart go on a mission to find some of the cats that Osprey tried to kill and when they come back Osprey is killed.

This is just a really basic summary of arc one and it doesn’t just end with them killing the guy who was probably right dw dw

Rules/editing direction:
This mep, being about acceptance of time passing, must show strong emotions, whether it be through facial expressions or body language. Tweening poses from wcue is difficult (from experience) so this rule isn’t strongly enforced.

The editing direction is very loose as you may use your own styles and techniques to edit and tween, as long as you are following the main idea of the mep: tweened wcue.

Forewards Beckon Rebound || Wcue edit

Stormcrest 2025-01-26 | A quick edit for this month, expect a mep part as well maybe next week

Characters:

Applestar’s lore:
Applekit’s mother, Brightpheasant never believed she could raise her kit on her own, and so disowned Applekit and left the clan to look after her without knowing that she was Bright’s daughter, Applepaw grew up believing that she was found by the clan and that her real family was dead, little did she know her mother was in the clan beside her, but nobody knew. Apple never socialised with other trainees, her friend, Mossypaw slowly drifted away after a while, leaving Applepaw feeling truly isolated with the only cat she really spoke to being her mentor, Bluerain.

Applepaw was discovered by Flintwhisker, the current phantom (basically a ghost but larger and made of smoke) , who had started a lot of issues in AvianClan, including the murder of a cat who refused to comply with him. He was slowly fading away and was desperate for a successor. He chose Applepaw as she was truly alone in the world, much like he was in life. Applepaw was subtly manipulated by him and was told to visit the cave when she got her warrior name. She never came

Appleleaf befriended a loner named Maria, who later joined the clan and changed her name to Wavewing. The two bonded over being loner-born (even though Apple wasn’t actually born a loner she just believed that) and actually became mates after a while. However Flintwhisker, was unhappy, he was never visited and he was concerned about fading for good, after finding Appleleaf again, he was ignored and then attacked. It was obvious that she wanted nothing to do with him. So Flintwhisker being the worst cat on earth convinced Wavewing to join him, and she agreed, not knowing that this would mean leaving Appleleaf and her life with her. However over time, the life of living beside a phantom took over her mind and she was extremely loyal to Flintwhisker. Wavewing sacrificed herself to Flintwhisker so she could live alongside him in the Lost Moors and dedicate her life to the phantom line.

Before all of this, the current delegate, Wagtailswoop had died from a sickness and Appleleaf was chosen to be Cormorantstar’s new delegate and believed that her life was suddenly becoming much better, she had a mate and was clan delegate. However after finding out about Wavewing’s death and betrayal, she loses all hope and ends up killing Cormorantstar so she’d finally feel in power over something in her life.

I’ll continue the story in a later edit because that would require like 2 more paragraphs and I am not willing to do that

The story

Ospreypaw’s mentor, Reedtuft was determined to get Osprey the noble rank (high ranking warrior) when he was older. He used harsh training techniques to constantly improve Osprey’s skills. Reedtuft’s motive is that he wants to create his own dynasty of nobles as CoastClan was run by a dynasty of leaders, starting from Albatross, whom the clan worshipped and relied on for guidance. Reedtuft’s last apprentice, Raventuft, his son, was deemed too weak and arrogant to succeed his father, and Reed was unsatisfied with him. With no apprentice age kin, Reedtuft took on Ospreypaw as an apprentice. Osprey had to undergo extreme training measures, from having to fight with claws out, to hunting on a time limit, every day from dawn to dusk, only getting a break when his mentor got tired. As he grew, his resentment towards clan beliefs only grew with him. He later became mates with Seaheart, a gentle and loving she-cat, who appreciated his gift of a musk mallow flower (totally not symbolism but we’ll get to that in her video) and chose to become his mate. However, no amount of affection from Seaheart could tame Osprey’s hate for the clan. Osprey’s goal was to end the dynasty and abolish all beliefs as he viewed the cats of CoastClan as mindlessly following the dynasty and ancestors and not focusing on the wellbeing of cats in the present. He also wanted to become the leader of the clan to have control over something for once in his life. He plotted with his friends in secret and came up with his plan.

Early one morning, Osprey followed the old leader, Bristlestar to the river, he overheard Bristle talking to the heir, Daffodilheart about the fact that he only had one life left (in the story, the leaders only have 1 extra life) and planned an ambush attack to swiftly kill the leader. As Bristlestar started drinking from the river, Osprey struck him down and drowned him. The body was found by Reedtuft the next day, framing him as the potential killer. Distraught, Daffodilheart and her two daughters, Dandelionpaw and Galepaw ventured up to the cliff of anctestors so Daffodil could officially be crowned leader of CoastClan. Osprey and his follower, Ruggedplover ambushed the three cats, killing Galepaw and causing the other two to flee. When the Osprey and Rugged returned to the clan, they said that they had heard screaming and went to help, finding a dead Gale, and Daffodilheart with Dandelionpaw fighting off a large rogue. They managed to fight the rogue, but Daffodil and Dandelion were already gone. The next cat to be killed was Woodpeckersong, the mate of Daffodilheart, who was in charge of the clan at the time. Ospreytalon was on patrol with Woodpeckersong and Reedtuft. The three split up, however Osprey followed Woodpecker and mauled him, leaving his body behind a tree. Osprey quickly returned to camp with a hare and mouse before Reedtuft, to further fuel the suspicion that Reed had been the killer.

After this, Ospreytalon was put in charge of the clan for now until Daffodilheart came back. Seaheart and Stagheart organised to go on a mission to find the lost heirs. During the time in which Seaheart and Stagheart were away, Osprey started to lose his mind. Magpiesoar, his father was killed at the rockpools, Palemask, his step mother, was buried alive, and finally, Reedtuft was killed my Mintpaw, as she was told to feed him toxic plants by Eggspots, a follower of Osprey. Shortly after Reed was dead, Osprey strategically stopped killing cats off, to blame Reedtuft for the deaths of clanmates. In order to rid the clan of worshippers, Osprey planned a speech, in which he told all disloyal cats to leave and that only trustworthy ones stay with him. However the night before he planned the speech, a storm started (totally not foreshadowing an important character later on) and heavy rain and loud thunder began to fill the air. A single lightning strike occurred near the outside of the camp, and a fire broke out. Osprey quickly returned to the rock and gave out his speech amidst the roaring flames. His loyal followers stayed in camp while the rest of CoastClan fled to ShellClan or the beach for safety.

Apologies for the long read, the story is quite complicated and requires a lot of detail for the message to be put across.

An AvianClan tom who’s destiny was ripped away from him by The Ocean Residence (StarClan) as he was replaced in a propechy and went down a path of treachery and becoming the next ‘Phantom’ causing the civil war in AvianClan that eventually led to The war with CoastClan (this is subject to change)

Ospreytalon
A CoastClan tom who was harshly trainee by his mentor for all his life, which eventually led him into despising The Ocean Residence as he viewed CoastClan as a cult who worshipped them and didn’t focus on the present. He killed many cats to get his way and eventually became the ‘leader of CoastClan’ for a while.

Applestar
The infamous AvianClan leader who led her clan into war with CoastClan, during the final battle of the war, she had Rattlehiss pinned at the edge of the cliff, however both were killed by the fall as they were able to knock each other off the edge

Tidestar
The ShellClan leader during the war who refused to help CoastClan, even if they were allies. She sided with Applestar but never got into any conflict. She was known for execution within her clan.

This continues the theme of the oc walking alongside the ghosts, you can add more interesting parts such as the ghosts interacting with the oc more

The oc hides behind a rock and catches their breath while the ghost stalks around outside hunting for them
Please make it unexpected and scary, by all means use glitching and flashing to add to the shock factor
Part 12-17
This is a continuation of 3-6’s chase scene, make them cross different types of land, forest, fields. Make them cross different obstacles like having to jump over a river or climb up a tree.

This is probably by far my favourite edit so far, I have a new fur method so it looks cleaner

The lore isn’t finished just yet as some details are missing but the very basics are

-Osprey gets trained harshly and hates the monarchy
-he kills some cats
-Seaheart, his mate, runs away to find Daffodilheart
- Seaheart has Ospreytalon’s kits
- The fire happens and he orders only the most loyal cats to stay in camp during it
-time skip a bit
- Seaheart and some other cats confront Osprey and his followers
- Osprey’s tail is torn off and he dies

notes:
Seaheart and Ospreytalon aren’t fighting alone, they have allies on each side
Ospreytalon has his reasons to hate the monarchy
In a later arc a guy called Buzzardstorm explains the flaws in the way the clan is run and how to prevent more cats like Ospreytalon
Osprey’s mentor was called Reedtuft, he’s the father of Raventuft and Vinetwist
I’m not gonna spoil who Osprey’s victims were, that’s next month’s video.

Stormcrest 2024-07-06 | Started this in the middle of last month and you can definitely see the quality increase after the first few scenes lol

I haven’t done much is not anything with these two but both play an important part in Arc 1 and 2. This is about their relationship after Violetpetal died. Vinetwist was concerned that Raventuft cared too much about his duty to the clan than the death of his own mother. This is because Vine was raised by Violetpetal by his side, learning about the importance of bloodline and kin in CoastClan, whereas Raven was vigorously trained by his father Reedtuft, learning about the importance of power and responsibility. The incident after this won’t be mentioned here as I want to explore further into that later.

Time to introduce Bristlestar (Orange and white moustache cat)
He was the leader before and father to Daffodilstar, victim of Ospreytalon after eavesdropping during a conversation between Bristlestar and Daffodilheart where Bristle explained that he didn’t have both of his lives (in this story, the leaders only revive 1 extra life)

Bristlestar was drowned in the River Shell and hidden in the reeds until Osprey supposedly discovered him when the sun rose the next day.

This edit features Flintwhisker, an AvianClan warrior seeking revenge after a prophecy promising him that he was part of a group of cats to ‘save the clan from the Phantom’ turned out to have been misread. After realising that the dream he had, leading him to a cave far away from camp, was a set up to turn him into the next Phantom as Hawksurge was slowly fading away.
