When Buddha Walked With Jesus Original Song

Why oh why did Charlie Kirk die
Ask Tyler Robinson and he won't lie
Though the world won't understand
He once loved a transitioning man
He once loved a transitioning man
Charlie Kirk would condemn
Men who slept with other men
He liked to quote the New Testament
As he lectured on the wrong Sacrament
Why oh why did Charlie Kirk die
Ask Tyler Robinson, he won't lie
The world will never understand
He once loved a transitioning man
He once loved a transitioning man
He was the hero in a video game
He shot Charlie Kirk to his eternal shame
Nobody captured young Robinson
He turned himself in for what he had done
Why oh why did Charlie Kirk die
We'll ask Tyler Robinson and he won't lie
The world will never understand
But he once loved a transitioning man
He once loved a transitioning man

Off in Indonesia
on the River Kuantan
they've got a boat race
that will please ya
and they're getting set to run
Every boat will have a boy
balanced on the prow
set to do a little dance
and help his team to win somehow
CHORUS
Boat race boy
slim and willowy
dancing in the breeze
sparks his team to victory
Each boat is just a log
some forty meters long
hollowed out for forty rowers
Forty rowers fast and strong
As their paddles hit the water
of the River Kuantan
the rowers all look forward
their boat race boy leads them on
CHORUS: REPEAT
Across the water they do skim
like a water moccasin
They have a certain style
like a super crocodile
When they reach the city
known as Singingi
the fans all jump for joy
for the winning boat race boy
CHORUS: REPEAT
Janet -- Music, lyrics, guitar and vocals
Bruce -- Harmonica
Janet allowed me to try my hand at providing a harmonica backing on her recording, and this is the result. She recently uploaded an AI-generated version of the song. This rendition is very much a Human-Intelligence version, as I just played her original recording and my harmonica together into my mic. I didn't use any special recording equipment or apps, and I guess it shows. But I think it's a great little song, and I am grateful to Janet for letting me join her on it.
When Canada joins the Union
they won't be the fifty-first state
But the fifty-seventh and the fifty eighth
There'll be eight Canadian States
CHORUS When Canda joins the Union
it will come to pass
With Canada in the Union
They'll impeach Donald Trump's fat ass
Forget about North Dakota
and think about Manitoba
Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia
Ontario and don't forget
the Frenchmen in old Quebec
C'HORUS
Forty-eight million Canadians
will get sixteen senators
and forty-two representatives
to walk those corridors
CHORUS
extra verse
Great cities like Montreal
Toronto and Hallifax
and out there in Vancouver
they vote like Democrats
I am honored that two of our YouTube friends have covered this song--

LYRICS
Raging River done took her alright
done took her alright
Swept her away in the dead of night
the dead of night
Swept her away in the dead of night
The night that went so wrong
Raging River runs miles and miles
miles and miles
She's still here and she still smiles
she still smiles
She's still here and she still smiles
All day long
Raging River I do not fear
I do not fear
She still whispers in my ear
in my ear
She still whispers in my ear
Her own special song
One thing I don't understand
don't understand
When we're walking she holds my hand
she holds my hand
She smiles and whispers and holds my hand
She hold it oh so strong
I am grateful to Janet for allowing me to have a go at her defiant protest song.

Bruce R Lyrics, vocals & harmonica
You blue me away
and I don't know what to do
I'm up the creek without a paddle
on a horse without a saddle
I don't have a clue
You blue me away
and I don't know what to do
The pain it runs so deep
I can't even sleep
'cause I'd just dream of you
You blue me away
and I don't know what to do
I've got no place to lay
Nothing more to say
Since I don't have you
My thanks to Peter for allowing me to have a go at this nifty love song, the first song he wrote for Yvonne, his lifetime muse.

Michael posted this song better than a decade ago, and it has been covered by several YouTubers. I am grateful to be able to join them.
Here is the link to Michael's original with a neat video of one of his kids going down to the beach with a shovel and bucket and digging a hole, which quickly fills with water. Highly recommended.

I'm grateful to our two dear friends for allowing me to cover their wonderful ode to spring.
The markets fell like thunder
When Trump he made his blunder
He didn't seem to care if
He put in a tariff
And set the whole wide world asunder
Like Cesar Augustus
He put a tax on every nation
Because Trump he likes to profit
From every situation
He wants the bended knee
Or he puts in the fee
To buy his coronation
Yes the markets fell like thunder
When Trump he made his blunder
At the very first attack
He tried to roll them back
But he'd set the whole wide world asunder
There's no method to his madness
He doesn't have a clue
He's supposed to have advisors
to tell him what to do
But we all must pay the price
For their terrible advice
If we make it through
The markets fell like thunder
When Trump he made his blunder
Though now he thinks he's earned
a glorious third term
BECAUSE he set the world asunder
Wailin' Heino composed the music and recorded the 12-string guitar,
I added harmonica and wrote the lyrics.
Daniiel then recorded the vocal, suppling his interpretation of the
lyrics to suit the music.
.....Lyrics...
We followed the gulfstream
up to the North Sea
The dolphin carried me
to my destiny
Till I was waylaid
off of Norway
when I spotted
the mermaid
I awoke
admiring her stroke
as she slithered
through the icy sea
I jumped in
to go for a swim
right by her side
watching her smile
For mile after mile
Day after day
night after night
with all of my might
Till warm waters did flow
in the Gulf of Mexico
Now we're swimmin' and smilin'
off South Padre Island
We three friends from the sea
The dolphin, the mermaid, and me
I wrote these lyrics a couple of years ago to accompany a piece of music sent to me by my old partner Wailin' Heino. We were both honored by a seal of disapproval supplied by YouTube censors, as though the theory that carbon emissions cause global warming were gospel truth that adults could not question on their own.
I'm hoping my rendition (with edited lyrics) receives another citation from the YouTube censors.

When LIV Golf came to Dallas
with Bryson DeChambeau
the Cowboys and Rangers
all came out to see the show
It was a very exciting tournament
to place the best team on the throne
win and you advance
Lose and you go home
This weren't your daddy's P.G.A.
with its four-day funeral march
but constant non-stop action
and everybody had to watch
Yes when LIV Golf came to Dallas
with Brooks and Sergio
the mayor and all the council
came out to see the show
Would the Crushers or the Cleeks
the Fireballs or Torque
the Majestics or Team Ripper
be the one to find the way
Ah when LIV Golf came to Dallas
with Joaquim and John Rahmbo
the Mavericks and the stars
all came out to see the show
Daniel --- Original German translation, vocals
Bruce --- Arrangement, Baritone Uke, Harmonica
Heino --- Mastering, mixing, production
It has been my great honor to collaborate with Daniel Obenhaus and his dad-- my old partner Wailin Heino-- on this classic Dylan song from his album Desire.

This is a link to Heino's channel, where Daniel may be heard to sing a K-Pop song in Korean!
Here she comes in her chariot
ready to campaign
A happy warrior smiles a lot
bringing forth champagne
Kamala oh Kamala
The message has been sent
Kamala oh Kamala
Madam President
There's a man with yellow hair
giving her the evil stare
Says he'll meet here anywhere
if she accepts the double dare
Kamala oh Kamala
The message has been sent
Kamala oh Kamala
Madam President
Now the world will have to wait
the time and place of their debate
When she walks through that open gate
she will learn her final fate
Kamala...

Morar is a village on the western shore of Scotland
Now you have read the list
from the cardiologist
Now can you read the message
and will you heed the lesson
Heartbeat heartbeat
will you just slow down
We can stick around
if you'll just slow down
I don't have no fascination
With all this palpitation
Heartbeat
You're always in a rush
Just decelerate the pulse
so we can draw a breath
Down deep within our chest
Heartbeat heartbeat
will you just slow down
We'll be leaving town
if you can't slow down
I don't need an operation
I need your co-operation
Heartbeat
You keep racing down the halls
straight for Niagra Falls
Oh for heaven's sakes
can't you apply the breaks
Heartbeat heartbeat
can you please slow down
We can stick around
If you just slow down

Monday flies the swallow
up by heaven's door
but when that cold wind starts to blow
he won't be here no more
Tuesday flies the robin
He's knockin' on our door
but if you love another
He won't come around no more
Wednesday flies the skylark
high up in the sky
but if you turn away from me
you won't see him passing by
Thursday flies the magpie
A clever bird is he
but if you leave our happy nest
he never will be free
Friday flies the old crow
He's blacker than your lies
I won't even see him
for the teardrops in my eyes
Saturday the eagle
is soaring up above
I used think that eagle
was soaring like our love
Sunday flies the vulture
come to pick my bones
He'll find me very easy
Crying in our empty home
I am honored that my old partner Wailin' Heino and his son Daniel have given us a most unique and enjoyable cover of this song, along with a harmonica player who beats my socks off. You can check them out here.

The sky is now empty
The birds are all gone
Will they come back
like some lost vagabond
I'm beginning to wonder
where have they been
Are you lost little sparrow
Are you lost little wren
They flew in formations
in the shape of a Vee
up from the southland
so high over me
And then they'd swoop down
and you never knew when
and land in the treetops
little sparrow, little wren
They chirped and they trilled
in the nests they did build
and their songs they were sung
as they raised up their young
But mornings are quiet now
I whisper Amen
So silent without you
little sparrow, little wren
Mother Earth she is crying
down deep in soul
for family members
not here anymore
If I should never
see you again
Goodbye little sparrow
Farewell little wren
