bodo635"Path of Borealis" is a remix of "Triage at Dawn" made by DJ Dain, named "That Long Train Ride," with the song title being apparently based on a note featured in a map of an early Half-Life 2 journey found in Raising the Bar. One day, a gamer nicknamed "Black Mantis" presented it on the Half-Life 2 Beta-oriented Father Grigori Forums.
June 28, 2021: I, the uploader, am not DJ Dain, the author of this remix. It took me far too long to edit the mistakes in the video title (Half-Life 2 Beta, I kept the Path of Borealis name) and description, for which I apologize. I added the paragraph above a few years after uploading this video from some Wiki. I don't remember if it was Combine OverWiki or Half-Life Wikia. There is an article about the song here: combineoverwiki.net/wiki/That_Long_Train_Ride.
"There has been a considerable amount of confusion throughout the fan community regarding the origins of the track, many initially arguing that it was part of the early versions of Half-Life 2. Its name was also unclear, thought at times to be titled "Path of/to (the) Borealis." In 2007, a Half-Life 2 leak files pack which included That Long Train Ride and other non-Half-Life-related songs, was released, which led to speculation within the community that these tracks were made by Valve. In 2010, a user on the Facepunch forums admitted that he was responsible for this misleading soundtrack compilation." ― Combine OverWiki
I'm so glad I was the lucky first one to upload this fantastic song I copied from the newly released Obsidian Conflict mod for Half-Life 2, after which I never played it again (sorry). I apologize for giving the video the incorrect, albeit catchy, name "Path of Borealis." I apologize if I caused any harm to this song's composer or the community. Both the original and this remix are legendary among us Half-Life fans. I'm happy to have been a small part of it.

This song plays when you create a new player character in Cyberpunk 2077. I have some good memories of this song booming with its sick synth beat during the launch night on Steam with 1,054,388 fellow concurrent players, all of them hopelessly stuck for hours tuning their characters (unfortunately, for the last time).
I kept a few seconds of the part before the beat drops, and I also kept a bit of the beautiful section after it, but I didn't want to keep it all in because we all need more bass in our lives. I added two fade-in/out effects.
I have never done anything like this before, just a small Half-Life 2 song video in Windows Movie Maker 13 years ago, now with 4,603,133 views, so please feel free to upload a better version. The boomer Megaupload links are gone. Like, poof!Fallout 3 - Cole Porter - Anything Goesbodo6352008-11-21 | "Anything Goes" is a song that plays on Galaxy News Radio, a fictional radio station, in Fallout 3 (2008), on Diamond City Radio in Fallout 4 (2015), and on Appalachia Radio in Fallout 76 (2018). It was originally recorded in 1934.
I loooved Fallout 3, and especially this song is close to my heart as it's so joyful and the lyrics fit the game perfectly. :) Beautiful memories.
Lyrics (I also pasted them into subtitles and let YouTube decide when to play them, it isn't perfect, I might fix it one day) (I don't understand most of the references):
Times have changed, And we've often rewound the clock Since the Puritans got a shock When they landed on Plymouth Rock.
If today Any shock they should try to stem 'Stead of landing on Plymouth Rock, Plymouth Rock would land on them.
In olden days, a glimpse of stocking Was looked on as something shocking, But now, God knows, Anything goes.
Good authors, too, who once knew better words Now only use four-letter words writing prose. Anything goes.
If driving fast cars you like, If low bars you like, If old hymns you like, If bare limbs you like, If Mae West you like, Or me undressed you like, Why, nobody will oppose.
When every night, the set that's smart is intruding In nudist parties In studios. Anything goes.
When Missus Ned McLean (God bless her) Can get Russian reds to "yes" her, Then I suppose Anything goes.
When Rockefeller still can hoard en- Ough money to let Max Gordon Produce his shows, Anything goes.
The world has gone mad today, And good's bad today, And black's white today, And day's night today, And that gent today You gave a cent today Once had several chateaux.
When folks who still can ride in Jitneys Find out Vanderbilts and Whitneys Lack baby clo'es, Anything goes.
When Sam Goldwyn can with great conviction Instruct Anna Sten in diction, Then Anna shows Anything goes.
When you hear that Lady Mendl standing up Now does a handspring landing up- On her toes, Anything goes.
Just think of those shocks you've got, And those knocks you've got, And those blues you've got, From those news you've got, And those pains you've got, If any brains you've got From those little radios.
So Missus R., with all her trimmins, Can broadcast a bed from Simmons, 'Cause Franklin knows Anything goes.Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Soundtrack - Crawling from the Deep (Battle of the Worm)bodo6352008-06-16 | This song played when Sareth was escaping from a gargantuan and invincible worm or caterpillar creature that suddenly crawled up from the abyss below.
