Crystal Warriors (Game Gear) for 3DS Virtual Console - 2-Player Battle

NintendoDuo 2023-03-19 | This is a strategy RPG for the Game Gear, so it's a good thing the 3DS Virtual Console version can be played on multiplayer because these games are always more interesting with a living opponent. Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water for Wii U (eShopocalypse)

NintendoDuo 2023-03-18 | Fatal Frame is the oddest IP in Nintendo's portfolio. It was created by Tecmo Koei (later renamed Koei Tecmo) and Nintendo bought half the rights to it for...some...reason.

One of the results of this was a Wii U exclusive game that in the West was exclusive to the eShop for a time. Eventually it came to other platforms but we're still showcasing it in our eShop series because why not, nothing else about this situation makes sense. Enjoy!

NintendoDuo 2023-03-02 | They don't make Tails games like this anymore. Because they don't actually make Tails games at all anymore.

One of two Game Gear offerings starring Sonic the Hedgehog's sidekick Miles "Tails the Fox" Prower that featured parkour long before Sonic Lost World "introduced" the mechanic to the franchise. Also the game's packaging and title screen disagree on whether Tails went on multiple adventures or a singular one.

Nintendoes what Sega already done did as this is a classic Game Gear title on the 3DS Virtual Console, captured on a Loopy card.

Yep, the ghosts are still in the other console after you disconnect, so you can race them offline and then send them back to your friend another time. You could also in theory use save states to beat the ghost, but then you deserve prison for life. Presumably trading Pokémon will work the same way when they add those games.
