American Girl Doll Haul: A Vloggers Play Set and Custom Etsy Clothes AG Takes Over 2025-06-01 | This video is an unboxing of two types of things...First, the gift I received from my wife for Mother's Day - it had been on my wish list for a while and I was so excited to finally get it! Second, a custom order of four shirts from Etsy - two doll-sized and two Kristie-sized. I designed them myself so it was particularly exciting to open them up. Now my dolls and I are more ready than ever for protesting the current administration and the systems created to harm certain people and keep power in certain hands. Heavy? A bit. But we're living in heavy times. And while my dolls provide me a much-needed escape sometimes, they also let me mirror the world around me and represent things I experience. A 365 Day Project!? A Full YEAR of Daily Pictures of One American Girl Doll! AG Takes Over 2025-05-22 | Last spring, out of the blue, I decided to undertake the most ambitious doll project I've ever attempted - an entire year's worth of OOTD (outfit of the day) pictures. I decided to pick one doll (my Truly Me 107, Luca) and change her clothes every single day. I documented where we went, what we did, tried some new photography ideas, captured some great memories...over and over again, regardless of how busy we were, regardless of the weather, and regardless of how I was feeling on any given day. I learned a lot, and I am so freaking proud of myself for seeing this project through.It means a ton that you're taking time to watch it and learn more about Luca's year with me. Maplelea Haul for my American Girl Dolls: Unboxing Four New Items! AG Takes Over 2025-05-08 | It had been a minute since I got anything from Maplelea, but as usual, the quality did not disappoint. In this video, I open and review the four items I got and have an American Girl doll model each of them. My hope with this type of video is never to convince people to buy things. But in sharing my thoughts on the things I buy, I hope I can help others make more informed decisions about what they purchase. In some cases, that looks like me saying, "If you were considering XYZ, I'd pass. It feels really cheap and I'm disappointed." In today's case, with one item in particular, it will look like, "OMG it absolutely lived up to the hype in my head! 10/10!" :)
