Here is my positive, empowering and (relatively) easy birth story! I am SO thankful for an easy delivery, especially after the drama during my 39th and 40th week. If you are about to become a new mom, I hope my birth story will assure and empower you.
The final stretch started rough - I woke up in the middle of the night with contraction, thinking that "this is it". 12 hours later, it just stopped.
I was dumbfounded, angry and confused all at once.
Throughout my pregnancy, I've been practicing hypnobirthing. One of the key element of this practice is to trust your body. So I put myself back together, focus on self-care, read audiobooks and did all of the nice things as I continue on this pregnancy journey. The 39th week has been a huge learning curve, and I continue to feel thankful for the opportunity to experience everything.

My first trimester was difficult. I spent most of my time on the couch, and wondered if this was how I'd be the entire pregnancy now. As a full time travel blogger, it was worrying.
When my 14th week arrived, it felt like as if a new wave of energy came over me. I was excited to explore again! At 20-week pregnant, I worked with Texas local tourism board and explored Big Bend National Park, mostly solo. A few days later, my partner, G and I went on a nice baby moon in California, where we explored the Red Woods, McWay Falls and more.

I spent 48 hours in Big Bend National Park and was able to visit Dom Rock, hike the Lost Mine Trail, enjoy the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive, explore Santa Elena Canyon, watch a glorious sunset at the Windows, and squeeze in a morning sunrise hike through the Grapevine Hills to Balanced Rock. If you are planning a trip to Big Bend, I've got you covered.

I’m not one of those people who always knew she wanted to be a mother. I was deeply conflicted about the whole affair up until a month before conception. Prior to that, I have done a bunch of research online, reached out to parents and asked for their honest opinion, listened to my inner wisdom and faced my struggles with honesty and kindness.
It often seems like there are two kinds of people in this world – those who just know they want to be parents, and those who are strong in their conviction that they do not.
But there’s a lot of middle ground, a land of ‘I’m not sure‘ that I suspect most of us fall into. I definitely was one of them. If you are on the same boat, I hope this video helps!

Chapters:I Swam with TIGER SHARKS in French PolynesiaBe My Travel Muse2021-12-26 | It's my version of shark week in French Polynesia, beginning in Fakarava and ending in Tikehau, two islands in the Tuamotus that are teeming with sharks (and other awesome sealife).
Fakarava is a remote coral atoll, and it's home to some beautiful beaches and lovely people, plus SHARKS.
First, I'm diving with hundreds of reef sharks, some of which we're doing at night in the pitch black. This is known as Fakarava's wall of sharks, and it's some of the best diving I've ever seen.
But we did all this to build up to the big thing - swimming with A TIGER SHARK. This apex predator is one of the types that regularly attacks humans, but I'm wondering, do we have them all wrong? Do we misunderstand? We aim to get close and personal to find out.
I have traveled around the world solo for over 9 years, and these are my very best methods to keep me and my belongings safe when I am on the road.
Solo travel is one of the best gift you can ever give to yourself. It's the chance to be totally selfish (in the best possible way), and IMO, the best way to come back to yourself and live life authentically. If you are thinking about taking that first solo trip, make sure to watch this vlog before you go!
My fellow introverts, I am here to tell you what is it like to travel solo as an introvert!
While it seems counter-intuitive, introverted solo travelers are way more common than you think. If you are an introvert and worry about meeting others and socializing on your solo trips, I have some tips for you!
