Wood for the Ponce mass timber project was recently shipped to GP mill in Albany. Georgia-Pacific 2022-10-27 | The mass timber project for Atlanta’s hot Ponce City Market is moving forward. The wood for the project was recently shipped from a forest south of Columbus, Georgia, to GP’s building products mill in Albany. That’s where the lumber is cut before it’s shipped to be manufactured into cross-laminated timber panels.
