dixiekat2007 2023-06-14 | I actually wasn't sure if I should post it because this is, in some ways, a pretty personal video. I actually wasn't sure if it was that good either. It has been done for a few days, but I kept changing from low to high volumes of voiceovers to not make it too loud or too soft. I also kept changing the coloring. I finally think I got it to where I want it to be. I hope you enjoy 😀❤️

I have been wanting to do this kind of video for a while now, ever since I ended a toxic relationship with my own father. I haven't talked to my dad in approximately four years, and I don't plan to talk to him ever again. I find that I can relate to some of these characters by having an alcoholic, drug addicted (pain killers, pot, cigarettes), parent who chose that above everything else. I hope you enjoy it!

Captain (Georg) Von Trapp and his kids

dixiekat2007 2023-01-07 | I have a lot of video ideas, and some are even in the works. This is my first of the ideas (and my last one I actually thought about doing).

It is The Sound of Music, which I hope a lot of people know. It was released in 1965 set in Austria. It was a true story about the Von Trapp kids (there are seven of them) who lost their mother, and their dad (who was a sea captain) running the household like one of his ships. That is when there new Governess fraulein Maria, after many Governesses, came into the picture and eventually changed his view on fatherhood/parenthood. It was set during WW II FYI as well. I watched it for the first time when I was sick in seventh grade, and I just fell in love with the movie.

The seven kids are Leisl (16), Friedrich (15), Louisa (13), Kurt (11), Brigitta (10), Marta (almost 7 "turning seven on Tuesday"), and Gretl (5).

dixiekat2007 2019-03-26 | I decided to do my birthday collabs this year a little differently. There will be 3 or 4 different collabs with a unique theme to them. I found out some devastating news a couple weeks ago and these themes I chose mean a lot to me.
The second of my birthday collabs I decided to do is on mental illness. Basically any character or celebrity below that has some sort of mental illness or sadness of some sort can be used. There are so many different things people can go through that has power on the mental wellbeing. They could've have experienced abuse, divorce, childhood trauma, etc. They also could have been born with it.
