1. Because it's for boys.
2. It's about chivalry.
But good mothers and fathers love the program because it teaches their sons about the forgotten virtues of courage, fortitude, purity, honor, Faith, and so much more. Discover why a new generation is embracing the Call to Chivalry, a summer camp for Catholic boys like no other.
The TFP has been hosting these camps for over 40 years.
The camp was staffed by members of TFP Louisiana and The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property.

Watch as prayerful Catholics are shamelessly attacked for publicly and peacefully defending the innocence of children from a "Drag Queen Story Hour" event at Montrose Center in Houston, Texas. The perverse drag event was advertised for all ages while those proudly supporting the show manifested their true colors against those who dared take a stand against the corruption of children's innocence.

Patrick, Warrior Saint
1. Pirates captured Patrick young and sold him as a slave
Six long years he labored there then fled upon the wave
As he looked back one last time upon the Irish shore,
He said, "One day I'Il come back...
To wage a holy war." For... (Refrain)
Refrain: The isle, the isle, Saint Patrick's Emerald Isle
Shore to shore, o'er hill and dale he toiled for many'a mile
Fighting on to raise the cross aloft on Irish sod
Sing for good Saint Patrick now...
The warrior saint of God.
2. Years would pass 'til Patrick bold would venture there again
Coming as a priest of God to combat vice and sin
Druids with their wicked ways were crushed by Patrick's might
Easter fire on Hill of Slane...
Would put them all to flight. On... (Refrain)
3. Foemen of the cross would plan to poison Patrick next
Due to Patrick's warrior prayer their crime had no effects
Patrick, filled with God's own power, did raise the dead to life
Patrick banished all the snakes...
And fought on in the strife. For... (Refrain)
4. At the end of his long years Great Patrick climbed on high
To the mount that bears his name and fought with God Most High!
After forty days, God said, "You'll judge the Irish men."
Though Saint Patrick soon passed on...
He's coming back again. To... (Refrain)

'The Huron Carol' lyrics
'Twas in the moon of winter-time when all the birds had fled,
That mighty Gitchi Manitou Sent angel choirs instead;
Before their light the stars grew dim,
And wandering hunters heard the hymn:
"Jesus your King is born, Jesus is born, In excelsis gloria.
Within a lodge of broken bark The tender Babe was found,
A ragged robe of rabbit skin enwrapp'd His beauty round;
But as the hunter braves drew nigh,
The angel song rang loud and high...
"Jesus your King is born, Jesus is born, In excelsis gloria."
The earliest moon of wintertime Is not so round and fair
As was the ring of glory On the helpless infant there.
The chiefs from far before him knelt with gifts of fox and beaver pelt.
"Jesus your King is born, Jesus is born, In excelsis gloria."
O children of the forest free, O sons of Manitou,
The Holy Child of earth and heaven Is born today for you.
Come kneel before the radiant Boy Who brings you beauty, peace and joy.
"Jesus your King is born, Jesus is born, In excelsis gloria."
"Youth was not made for pleasure, but for heroism."
- Paul Claudel

Music composed for TFP South in memory of the great Siege of Vienna (1683) and its deliverance by the great Polish King, Jan Sobieski and his winged Hussar Knights.
Text and Melody Adaptation from a Polish Patriotic March by B. Broussard,
Orchestration A. Zapata, and J. Dunlap for the TFP's Call to Chivalry Songbook.
Ride of the Hussars
Text -
From across the land we come together, lancers one and all to the combat speed. Our King Jan Sobieski calls us forward, "Ride to crush the Turks, set Vienna free!" Day on day we ride o'er hill and mountain, Night on night we pray while on bended knee: "Holy Mary, though we be surrounded, confidence in Thee will bring victory!"
As we near our ranks soon grow in number, Fighters who will rid the oppressive foe. With the close of day we see the city, Muslim hordes encroach for a final blow. Word goes out the battle starts tomorrow, Turkish armies three hundred thousand strong. Our king serves the Mass with break of day light, we receive Our Savior upon our tongue.
From the sound of trumpets we like lightning mount our steeds for battle the whole day long. Our great leaders charge as warrior angels, Hosts of Christian warriors soon join the throng. Enemies of Christ cry, "Allah! Allah!" Though the sight of us fills their hearts with fear. ""Maria! Maria!" thunders from us, sweeping down we crush them with sword and spear.
Hour by hour the fighting fierce continues, followers of Allah soon run in fright. Pressing on to rout them by the Danube, Pasha's army soon yields to Christian might. Entering in triumph King Sobieski holds aloft the stirrup from Pasha's feet. One and all we shout for all the ages: "'Venimus, vidimus, Deus vicit!"

Concerned students at the University of Louisiana invited the young woman, 20 year old Chloe Cole (a converted and now de-transitioned victim of gender ideology) to speak at the university about the dangers of such a destructive ideology.
Activists supporting the unscientific and immoral gender ideology are frantically seeking to block her free speech by denying her the right to share her first-hand knowledge of these issues and their damaging and lasting effects.
TFP Student Action South hit the streets to speak with students at the university and found the busiest intersection near the university to gauge public opinion on this issue and received a very positive response from those who stand with God's Law and who oppose transgender tyranny and gender ideology which is quickly undermining the family and society.

Music by A. Zapata for the TFP Three Archangels Music Library
The author wanted to re-post this as several important musical elements have been added since the original version.
We started early at Mission Espada to the other missions, including San Fernando Cathedral.
The final goal was The Little Flower Basilica of Saint Thérèse, with a promise to pray a Rosary in front of the relics of the french saint.
At Mission San Jose, there is a huge storage room with excellent acoustics.
We took advantage to sing a few songs.
El Cid is a favorite song to sing on TFP Caravans, although this attempt was a little rough, but we walked not to sing, but to suffer in reparation for the blasphemies done at the Olympic ceremonies in Paris, France.
Holy Missionaries of Texas, pray for us!
This year's theme is Chivalry in Spain!

1. Thou art proclaimed aloft,
the sacral Constable,
Lord Nuno, found to always dwell in Mary's Gaze,
Thy prayer doth reach the brightest star,
The Queen of Heaven, from afar.
For it is She that always leads thy trialled way!
2. Holy defender!
All foes shall render,
all that is due when armies charge at thy command!
Of Portugal, do all the warriors sing,
so blessed by Christ the King,
Who showed His strength when...
He delivered by thy hand!
Oh...!
3. Great Knight of purity,
Model of chivalry,
Thou dost hold fast the captured standard of the foe!
The Sacramental Lord , thy might
Thy Golden Counselor thy light,
and strength while other men would surely flee in fright!
4. Thou art a fearless man
of sharpest prowess grand,
if thou surrounded by the foe,
thy heart is calm,
true noble strong,
No compromises made,
The scandalizers learned when thou up-braided...
in full display when tables turned!
Oh..
REFRAIN
Into the fray! O fighter for Christ's victory!
Thou, wise and brave against all pestilential foe.
The Lord of peace, has taught thee how to war,
thy victory assured! Oh Holy Constable... Saint Nuno man of War!"
+++
5. Saint Nuno Constable,
By grace, unstoppable!
With sword unsheathed,
Thy face aglow in fullest charge.
The man to stop Castilian might,
Whose words did rally men to fight,
who before battles did confess their sins aright!
6. O Sacral Warrior brave
The Holy Virgin's slave!
Thou doth inspireth all souls to virtue high,
In prayer thou waits,
For God, thou wages war!
Thy legend strikes the core of every soul that,
that seeketh truth forevermore.
Oh...!
7. Behold the battle cry!
As spears and arrows fly,
The armies clash, the sound is heard in Heaven, High!
The wind blows dust to fill the realm,
Thy sword dost strike with fearsome sound,
until thou dissapeared when struck unto the ground.
8. Thy captains searched for thee,
in vain most urgently,
But in the midst of blinding dust thou was not found.
"Oh Constable! Where has the valiant gone?
Tis thee that keeps us one,
To face a danger,
as great as this grand army strong!"
Oh...!
REFRAIN
9. Behold him there indeed!
In prayer upon the knee,
With eyes ablaze and arms araised in cruciform!
"Lord Nuno! Rise and take the lead,
Do thou command! Our urgent plea."
"My son, for this I pray to God that I might see!"
10 "See now their standard blow.
upon that highest slope,
With thy most valiant take their standard and their hope!
This day we shall not perish by the foe!
Who was upon the thresh-hold of taking,
Our Lady's chosen Portugal!"
Oh...!
11. Thou art victorious,
renouned and glorious,
Thou founded peace
for thou wert ready for the war,
Yet thy age advanced in years,
Calming so much, Castilian fears,
which lied in wait for all thy praise to turn to tears!
12. In Eliatic brown,
In Carmel's Habit found
Yet in thy vows
there were conditions to be drawn,
For if Castile, shall rise to wage a war,
Thou shall anew, take sword and lead thy men to...
to crush the foe more than before!
Oh...!
13. Castilian heralds came
Inquiring of thy name
Thou claimed most readily to lead the armies might.
And for the proof for kings to know,
And that all doubt may cease to grow,
Thou pulled aside thy habit, showing armor bright!
14. And to the great chagrin,
Of whom Castile had sent,
Thou took a spear from thine own weapons on the wall,
And with thy strength surprised them all thou did affirm thy godly call when thou did hurl the spear into a distant wall!
15. And thus did end the scene,
The Castilian inquiry,
Which now resigned to leave in peace thy Portugal,
O man of peace, thy soul was made to soar,
Thy glory is assured! Oh holy Constable,
Truly thou art the Man of War!
Oh...!

Authors note:
As regards the spear incident in Verse 14 -
There are credible accounts of Saint Nuno throwing a spear in the manner related. Amongst others, this story is told by a Prince in our own days of the Noble House of Braganza, rooted in Saint Nuno's own lineage. His daughter Beatriz, married Afonso, son of King John I and founder of the House of Braganza.

HEART FULL OF COURAGE - The First Crusade -
Blessed Urban called the Crusade,
For the land of Christians are pillaged and razed,
For Saracens made it a goal to subdue,
The Cross of Christ, most glorious and true!
And behold there was found a man,
A Godfrey Boullion who would retake the Land,
Where Christ the Lord was bound by His hands,
and a traitor would hang himself over the sands.
......................................................................
REFRAIN
For now O good Christian, for this you were born!
Take heart full of courage and brave every storm,
so to safeguard the land; where the God-man did dwell,
Who by death on the Cross broke the kingdom of Hell.
......................................................................
The crusading armies passed over the land,
Through tempests and clashes, through canyons so grand.
Such numerous dangers of battles to death,
for Heavens' gained, heeding the Vicar's request!
REFRAIN
As thunder the drums of the armies resound,
as banners of nobles fly high from the ground,
the rumble of horsemen in numerous file,
the glint of their armor be seen for a mile!
Thus Castle by castle be conquered in time,
till lastly was seen O Jerusalem's shine!
Alas then Duke Godfrey gave order to siege,
The greatest of hardship to accomplish indeed!
REFRAIN
The first in the charge, sending foes to the Judge, a lionlike warrior swinging mace with a thud! Till victory claimed a great treasure attained.
O land where Christ Jesus was born and was slain!
REFRAIN
News reports describe the public blasphemy:
⦁ “[the] two-story display of a blood-stained Satan holding the severed head of Jesus above a cruxifix where the rest of His bloodied body hangs.”
“The display stretches across Miorana's yard, and includes a crucified nun and priest.”
⦁ “Above the crosses, a Satan with yellow eyes holds Jesus' head.
Pews of bloody skeletal worshippers face the scene, with ghouls lingering nearby.” (NOLA, Sept. 19, 2023)
Christians across the country are outraged by this satanic blasphemy against Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church on display at a home on Seminole Avenue in Bucktown, Louisiana. This grave offense against God must be denounced, opposed, and protested. Please defend the honor of Our Lord today!

1. Blasphemy is NOT Free Speech
Freedom of speech has limits. It is not absolute and untouchable when it violates the laws of God and man. For example, falsely shouting "bomb" on a plane, or “fire” in a theatre is illegal. Defamation and slander that harms another individual is also unlawful. Moreover, if every person has a right to their good name, so does the Sacred Person of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Blasphemy against Jesus Christ should not be tolerated or allowed as it crosses the line of free speech and enters the realm of defamation.
2. America is a Christian Nation
"In God We Trust" is written on every American dollar. We are "One Nation Under God" as the Pledge of Allegiance affirms. God has a right to be honored and respected. And His Ten Commandments are a guard rail to keep society from imploding. The decapitated “Jesus” display is a direct attack against God, the Catholic Faith, honor, and the history of our nation. It is anti-American.
3. Protests Work!
Tradition, Family, Property (TFP) and America Needs Fatima have been peacefully and legally fighting against blasphemy for 50 years. Experience has proven that peaceful, persevering, and prayerful protests work!
4. Enough is Enough
If satanic displays like the decapitated “Jesus” are allowed, what will stop worse displays in the future? We must draw a bold line and say “STOP.” We must create the moral climate that makes blasphemy unthinkable. Prayerful activism is the only means to achieve this. Let’s get to work and confess God before men!

Pure Maid of France
the Prince of Angels called you to a mission sublime,
for God, for country, for all time.
Bold maiden fair, your words of courage filled the knights
with zeal for the cause, and ceased their breaking of God's laws.
Refrain
Saint Joan of Arc, come now to our aid,
free our land from sin and vice,
we ask through your great sacrifice!
Make us all pure, strong faithful and brave,
Jesus, Mary, lead the way to win the battles of today.
So young in years, yet sent by Heaven to restore the kingdom of France
and bid the soldiers to advance.
See now our youth in errors bondage,
raise up now young heroes to fight
for God, for honor, for the right.
Refrain
Through toil and strife, in prisons, dungeons, greater did your light shine for all
though tested never did you fall.
When wicked men conspire against us,
give us all the grace to prevail in saintly virtue without fail.
Refrain

Important notes:
The imagery in this video has historic significance for admirers of the great work and life of Professor Plinio Correa de Oliveira, Founder of the TFP and it's family of souls throughout the world.
Christ The Redeemer Monument
In the first place, the Professor was personally present at the inauguration of the monument of Christ The Redeemer in Rio de Janeira, Brazil.
Our Lady of Aparecida
Secondly, The image of The Blessed Virgin is Our Lady of Aparecida, Patroness of Brazil. She is shown standing upon an imagined huge aquamarine gem.
Decades ago, Professor Plinio was made aware of a discovery of one of Brazil's largest ever, aquamarine precious stone. This discovery made headlines in newspapers at the time. Unfortunately this stone was cut down into many smaller pieces and sold as usual to many buyers on the market.
Commenting on this, Professor Plinio lamented that if the Brazilian people were living entirely up to the truly Catholic ideal, a large donation drive could have been organized to purchase the huge stone so as to be fashioned into a brilliant large globe and given, in the name of the Brazilian people, to Our Lady of Aparecida to serve as her pedestal. It would represent her God given sovereignty over Brazil and the whole world.
Instituto Plinio Correa de Oliveira (IPCO)
Thirdly is the organization bearing the standard upon which is the likeness of the Professor, who was as a true lion in defense of ember-like remnants of Christian Civilization. Those who knew him were marked by his example that shone forth as a light, especially evident by his generosity of soul, his untarnished orthodoxy and fidelity to all things Catholic, good, true, and beautiful. His life is the inspiration for The Instituto Plinio Correa de Oliveira (IPCO) which continues his work in the peaceful and legal defense of the Catholic cause from both the temporal and spiritual perspectives. It is a standard that; by the help of God; continues to fly through glories, storms and more glories with ever greater confidence in Mary, so befitting to the true sons of light.
In Memoriam: Prince Luis of Orleans - Braganza
Last but not least is the late Prince Luis of Orleans - Braganza who was the Head of the Royal House of Brazil and Member of the above mentioned institute. He was an ardent devotee of the Blessed Virgin and an inspiring example to so many. He was truly a friend of the Cross of Christ.
He is succeeded by his brother, Prince Bertrand of Orleans - Braganza.
In your charity, please pray for the repose of his noble soul.

- Lyrics -
Saint Ferdinand, most glorious King of Spain!
Thy enemies do tremble at thy name.
O Varon clothed in steel, a sword of justice dost thou wield!
Saint Ferdinand, most glorious King of Spain!
Thou crusheth heretic and seracen the same,
God's avenging arm, through storm, through fight and pain!
A warrior made to lead, a mighty knight on valiant steed
Saint Ferdinand, most glorious King of Spain!
The first upon the walls of fortress high!
A fearless grand example to inspire!
Thou reconquerest the land, and Thy sword remains in hand!
Saint Ferdinand, most glorious King of Spain!
Thy life as noble gold refined in flame,
Thou honorest the Holy Virgin's name!
She, attentive to thy plea, and obtains thy victory!
Saint Ferdinand, most glorious King of Spain!
And when it came the end, thy final day,
on floor and ash, in cross form did thou lay.
On ground of coldest stone, yet on thee the Heavens shone!
Saint Ferdinand, most glorious King of Spain!
Now in glory doth thou make thy aid be nigh. O patron!
Strike the blows and make the devils fly!
We as vassals, call thy name, through the land do we proclaim!
Saint Ferdinand, most glorious King of Spain! - x2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: Saint Ferdinand was the King of Castile and Leon. Later, kingdoms were united to get what we know as Spain.
If someone wants to rewrite the refrain, "Saint Ferdinand Most Glorious King of Castile and León," it may not fly, so we opt for a bit of poetic license on this rather important detail.
Although one might have an argument on their hands if one were to be square, and tell a good Spaniard that Saint Ferdinand is not "technically" a Spanish Saint but a saint only of Castile and León. Would it not be rather silly?
Saint Ferdinand, King of Spain,
pray for us!

From The Book of The Apocalypse - Chapter 1, Verses 26-29
Et qui vicerit et custodierit
usque in finem opera mea, super gentes,
[27] et reget eas in virga ferrea,
et tamquam vas figuli confringentur,
[28] sicut et ego accepi a Patre meo :
et dabo illi stellam matutinam.
[29] Qui habet aurem, audiat quid
Spiritus dicat ecclesiis.
[26] And he that shall overcome, and keep my works unto the end, I will give him power over the nations. [27] And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and as the vessel of a potter they shall be broken, [28] As I also have received of my Father: and I will give him the morning star. [29] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.

O Saint Michael Glorious Warrior
Oh…Saint Michael Glorious Warrior, O Angelic Knight in deed!
From Heaven bring thy angels, aid men to be redeemed!
For God acclaims thee vassal, defender of the Creed!
Aid knightly men in battle grand, and descend on flaming steed!
Refrain - Quis ut Deus! (Thrice)
Behold the Revolution, makes war against the Bride
Of Christ the King Our Savior, Whom men have crucified!
God summons thee to action, ‘gainst Satan filled with pride.
For him thy sword is searching, who flees from thee to hide!
Quis ut Deus! (Thrice)
O Warrior Prince of Heaven, O Celestial Charlemagne!
How strong thy peers of angel knights, an army thou maintains,
Thy march resounds as thunder, thy prayer ascends as flame!
Thy holy wrath makes evil crash, unto everlasting shame!
Quis ut Deus! (Thrice)
How long the Church shall suffer, this appearent cruel retreat?
A Via Dolorosa, to triumph not defeat!
As enemies surround Her, and laugh with vilest speech,
Come thou O Saintly Knight with sword, at God’s Command to greet!
Quis ut Deus! (Thrice)
For how the days are numbered? A mystery sublime!
The King shall send thee earthward, in sentencing the crime!
Make faithful men to hear thy call, at this appointed time,
Give us thy swordly spirit bright, and marked with grace’s sign.
Quis ut Deus! (Thrice)
And when this great convulsion cease, thy name be more renowned,
On wind is heard that battles din, the echo still resounds!
Just like that ancient battle fought, before all men were found.
In Heaven and on Earth alike, thy name acclaimed aloud!
Quis ut Deus! (Thrice)

A music tribute to help share the story of Navy SEAL Michael A. Monsoor, who sacrificed his life to save his fellow Navy SEALs, for which he posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
The song is in the form of a prayer to Saint Michael, his patron saint.
A prayer of one already on the threshold of eternity.
May God bless all of our brave heroes!

Text:
To Give All (In Honor of Michael Monsoor)
Refrain
A warrior is sent without choosing the scene.
His presence shall fade, not his venerable deeds.
When thou dost command, it is then that we stand,
so to fall to arise through thy call to give all.
so to fall to arise through thy call to give all.
Verse
Hear O Good Michael, thy blessing do give,
this life is laid down so that others may live.
The spirit is willing, all flesh is but weak.
With thee is found courage us soldiers do seek.
With thee is found courage us soldiers do seek.
And when in the Heavens, a breeze dost thou meet,
thy angels I've prayed to go to thee to greet.
Far above ties endureth, and light shineth through,
and the soul that transcends finds the holy and true.
and the soul that transcends finds the holy and true.
REFRAIN
Thy glory is grandeur, thy light pierces fog,
thou thou raises such smallness through fights that appalled.
yet trial by fire, and eternity calls.
Thou giveth thy courage, that we will give all.
Thou givest thy courage, that we will give all.
We've dwelt but a moment in youthfulness dawn,
life's joys are like lightning, then tempest and storm.
As gold is in fire, a purity born.
This soul they commend for thy service as sworn.
This soul they commend for thy service as sworn.
REFRAIN
With honor we end, our time sealed with a key.
The cost as an axe that dost sever the tree.
We sacrificed much, for the Cross is the way.
Yet more was asked from me, that more did I pay.
Yet more was asked from me, that more did I pay.
They sent death to my brothers, with heroes I've stood.
The gold of our country in fire as wood.
When death came to strike them, my life I might save,
yet I've chosen the Cross, 'tis the mark of the brave!
Yet I've chosen the Cross, 'tis the mark of the brave!
REFRAIN
And when on the Earth, a breeze dost thou meet,
know Saint Michael, I've prayed to go to Thee to greet.
For on his same day, the last price did I pay,
on his wings my prayer lifted to The Life and The Way.
On his wings my prayer lifted to The Life and The Way.
Refrain x 2

Meet the Activists at the Library -
A series of videos highlighting some of the more vocal activists at the Lafayette Public Library.
When public libraries are used to undermine public morality and the innocence of children, what can be done? Let us awaken people to the dangers at hand, and encourage people of good will to pray, to stand up and be brave! We face dedicated activists and a generalized media bias and astute opposition, that at times uses bully tactics to bulldoze their agenda through and impose an a-moral ideology upon society.
