When Melody asks where do they go when they die, Lilina ponders the After-After, knowing both her mother and her father is there and wondering how it will work out when she one day meets her end and finally arrives. Then Melody, transforming into Tilror, asks why she misses people who hurt her; this refers to several things. 1, Lilina knows Melody misses Tilror, who is distant and cold, and hurts her as a result. 2, Lilina also misses Tilror. 3, Tilor misses his parents who hurt him so long ago and Lilina struggles to understand why he has failed to move on and be better than his parents like she has with her own parents. She gets frustrated at these things; she calls Melody a "dummy," calls herself a "dummy," and calls Tilror a "dummy" because they all can't get over people who've hurt them and it kills her. She then flashbacks to her time as a demon, calling her past self a "dummy" as well for following Kath'tozol's orders so blindly. She then is surrounded by all the people she feels she has let down; Kath'tozol, her father, although he is a monster, is still her father and she feels guilt for killing him though she knows she did the right thing; Iriness, her mother, knowing she was too young and so manipulated by Kath'tozol to ever save her mother from her doom in the hell prisons but wishing she could or would have been able to do something; Gagoze, her best friend, knowing during her time as a demon and being bonded to him, a minion, she lead him down her same path of sadistic murder and torture and not only feels her own guilt but feels responsible for his guilt as well; Tilror, her mate, or.. it's complicated, being a shell of a person and Lilina feeling guilt that she could not "fix" him; Detective, the son of two of her victims and her friend, knowing it's awkward between them because of her past and wishing she could have changed sooner to save his parents, knowing she was cowardly and traitorous to not have told him the truth until he found out on his own, feeling she ruined his life; and Melody, her daughter, feeling guilt that she cannot fix her abandonment issues that stem from Tilror and wishing she had a better father, feeling she will grow up broken as a result of Lilina and Tilror's own poor decisions. Lilina feels she has betrayed, wronged and figuratively (or literally, in Kath'tozol's case) killed all of these people, which is why she is shown among their corpses with a cold expression.
