The names of 95 active military members of all branches that gave the ultimate sacrifice were read aloud and a bell rung. It spanned from the 1940's until the present. After the tornado touch down in Smithvile, MS. First responders 04/27/2011 meriembouss 2011-04-29 | Immediately after the tornado, first responders head up HIghway 25 to the scene of the disaster in Smithville, MS. There were so many non essential vehicles headed that way. I was worried that they would delay the emergency vehicles.

This tornado caused severe damage to the community of Wren and went on to destroy the city of Smithville, MS. Time to head to the shelter. Glad I did, I will never ignore another warning!
