The message behind the song is essentially illustrating the struggle we all face between being our best selves and the alternative. It's hard trying to be our best selves, but in my estimation - the only thing that can happen is for us to become better. Even if we fail, we must get up, dust ourselves off, and continue the trek.

Should you laugh at my videos?

Art City Sound 2017-12-28 | An interesting question indeed! I had a client come in to the studio who had previously seen a few of my videos with that question. This video is my attempt at explaining why laughter is awesome and why laughing at my videos is not only a good thing, but also encouraged!

My Studio Computer is DEAD.

Art City Sound 2017-12-28 | So I woke up this morning and came down to work on this week's song as today is usually the day I end up finishing the songs and the video and releasing it to the Wild... And while I was downstairs trying to find a better placement for my router network extender, my studio computer decided to full-on die. I came back from fiddling with the range extender to find my computer off and found it completely unresponsive when I tried to turn it back on. I have since been spending the last 6 hours troubleshooting, and I've found out that it has to be a faulty motherboard.

Not sure if I'm going to be able to make this week's video on schedule or not, but here's to hoping for and believing in holiday miracles.

Art City Sound 2017-12-21 | I'm not quite sure what moves me to create my own songs because doing so is quite grueling. Especially doing so in one week. Yet here I am presenting to you my soul-offering.

This song comes from my heart. I meant to write a Christmas song, and in a way it is, but it definitely doesn't seem to be a usual Christmas-time offering. For that, I apologize, but at the same time, I'm glad this is what came of this week.

Sometimes I feel I have so little to give, yet when I trust in God, He lends His almighty hand - and it is awesome.
