Help us lift the spirits of our fellow alumni and current Mines students by sharing your own #HardrockerStrong message. Record a short video clip with your own words of encouragement and email it to alumni@sdsmt.edu. Make sure to have adequate lighting and clear audio, and try to minimize your background as much as possible. We will compile all the clips we receive in one message to share with the rest of our Hardrocker family.Hardrocker Strong | Students Vol 1Konechne Creative2022-03-23 | WOW! We asked and you delivered in a huge way! A special Thank You to all who have given financially and to those who have offered your services. We’ve been overwhelmed by your responses and your outpouring of generosity, kindness and compassion for our students.
The Office of the President has begun contacting and working with students to administer these funds through a brief application and review process. In just the first few days, they’ve been flooded by requests from students struggling with everything from having to move off campus and take on new expenses to being unable to work due to health concerns for them and their loved ones.
When we started this fund, we didn’t fully know the breadth of our student’s needs. As you can see their need is still great. Because of their overwhelming response, we will be increasing our goal to try and meet as many requests as possible. We are so grateful to be able to offer them support through your generosity!
We will provide updates as they become available. Until then, please continue sharing this message. If you are interested in creating a match or challenge through your gift, please contact our office by emailing tiffany.hunt@sdsmt.edu.
Through it all, we continue to remain Hardrocker Strong. Thank you for showing our students what it means to be a Hardrocker for life.
Stay well.Hardrocker Strong Foundation & AAKonechne Creative2022-03-23 | ...Hardrocker Strong | Recipients of the SEFKonechne Creative2022-03-23 | ...Avas Drone TestKonechne Creative2022-03-23 | ...Tucson AZ | UTV Drone Footage 12/23/2021Konechne Creative2022-03-14 | ...Quick Reel 3/3/2022Konechne Creative2022-03-03 | ...Apostrophe 6 | 2000 | Kansas City Art InstituteKonechne Creative2022-03-01 | ...Videoleum | 2001 | Kansas City Art InstituteKonechne Creative2022-03-01 | ...2020 YMCA Kids CampaignKonechne Creative2020-01-17 | Every day the Y works side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
When you give to the YMCA’s Kids Campaign, 100% of your gift goes toward providing YMCA memberships for kids in need. By doing so, you continue to strengthen community and move us all forward.
Youth sponsorship memberships keep the Y available for kids who need us most. We count on the generosity of people like you to help all kids from all walks of life be more healthy, confident, connected and secure. When you give to the Y, you nurture the potential of kids and teens in your own community.
Whether in youth sports, summer day camp or one of our afterschool programs, the Y provides fun and interactive activities that help kids develop academic skills, leadership and social skills, self-esteem, conflict resolution abilities and hobbies.
Each gift of $90 sponsors a one-year YMCA membership for a kid. A Y membership connects kids with afterschool programs held at 15 different locations, summer day camp, swimming, sports, arts and so much more.
The result is positive, healthy and engaged kids and teens. What your gift means...
An independent evaluation of the kids at the outreach centers found that our kids:
Improved their behavior throughout the school year. Were more immune to peer pressure. Were more concerned with making smart choices. Are doing better in school.Wrong package picked up by UPSKonechne Creative2017-12-16 | A few weeks ago I ordered a tablet from Amazon. The following week it went on sale so I decided to order two of them and return the earlier one. About the same time, our Christmas tree broke so I boxed it up and left it in the entry way to go in the trash that week. I went to work on Monday and realized that I had forgotten to put the tablet outside for UPS to pick up. Just before lunch I received an email saying that the tablet had been picked up and they were processing my refund. I didn't think much of it until later that evening when I checked my security camera...
Gina was sick of stepping around the box so she put the Christmas tree box on the front porch for me to move. I only wish I could see the amazon returns department when they realize they picked up our old busted Christmas tree on accident. I suppose this probably happens more often that you would guess.
I called amazon the next morning and had a good laugh.2017 Fireworks 4k | Drones flying through the Fireworks!Konechne Creative2017-07-09 | ...silky smooth saxlands of south dakotaKonechne Creative2017-03-26 | ...2-11-17 terry peak and chuckKonechne Creative2017-02-12 | ...Terry Peak 2-11-17Konechne Creative2017-02-12 | ...Fireworks 1Konechne Creative2016-08-09 | ...Fireworks Fail 4kKonechne Creative2016-08-09 | ...$42900 / 2br - Cabin Retreat (Sheridan Lake/Hill City)Konechne Creative2016-08-09 | This cozy cabin is located about 1/2 mile from Sheridan Lake's South Dock in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
