The original video was uploaded on September 30th, 2024 but it was removed from YouTube earlier this year. It was taken down due to a copyright claim. Said claim was filed against me because I included clips of Gesaffelstein's set. To comply with the organization who filed the claim, this re-upload does not feature any of those clips.
Here it is! The 24th installment of my "sampling of various electronic artists" series. I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out. I think it's got a good amount of variety with the types of electronic music featured.
A few things to keep in mind: - None of my recreations are perfect. - I'm not trying to shame anyone for the use of these samples. I like and respect all artists featured in this video.

I also describe my on personal history with Sonny Moore as an artist. Although I've discussed other albums on the channel before, this is my first time doing a dedicated full length review of a single album on YouTube. I hope you enjoy it! I went to this event with a friend who is also a Daft Punk fan. Despite the controversy surrounding the use of A.I. to upscale the movie, I had a fun time watching it in the cinema. There was also additional content during the screening, which I detail in the video.
First released in May of 2003, "Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem" is an anime film produced by Daft Punk. It is a silent movie that uses the duo's second album "Discovery" as it's soundtrack. The Chemical Brothers Discography but only when the song names are sungPeterTrinkilo2024-11-29 | I did a video like this last year with the French do "AIR" and I had fun making that. So, I figured I'd use the same format again but this time going over the Chemical Brothers. Formed back in the early 90s, the Chemical Brothers are an English duo consisting of Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands. They are one of my favorite music acts, much like AIR.
Included here are all of the tracks from their studio albums. I did not include any non-album singles, EPs or the Hanna soundtrack. However, I included bonus tracks that aren't on the standard version of some of these albums. I hope you enjoy! You may have noticed that unlike last time, I did not mark which tracks highlighted in red are instrumental. I didn't feel it was necessary to do with TCB. Also, Happy Thanksgiving to my American viewers.

Here, I present to you "Summer Sprint". This is a shorter course that was made in collaboration with Hman6516. I unveiled an early version in a showcase video a couple years ago but this is the first publicly released version. Now that I've renewed my interest in custom tracks once more, I plan on making more new custom tracks in the future. I'll be showcasing these on my channel to go alongside my usual content about electronic music. In addition, I would like to go back and update some of my older tracks into a state that I'm more happy with. As for this track, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. There's definitely room for improvement, though. For instance, the enemy routes are rather poor and there could be a couple of visual enhancements such as shadows and a few more background elements. Regardless, I hope you like the track! It was enjoyable to make.
Note: The gameplay here was recorded on Dolphin. It does appear slightly different on real hardware but it functions the same. The Sampling of Various Electronic Artists 22PeterTrinkilo2024-07-29 | My Bandcamp Page: petertrin.bandcamp.com

For those who don't know, Motorbass was the French duo of Etienne De Crecy and Philippe Zdar. The project was active for 6 years, between 1992 and 1997. I should mention that this video does not go over all Motorbass samples, as there are still some that are unknown and I chose to exclude the remixes the duo has made. However, after some time has passed and more samples are discovered, I'm open to doing a second part of this (much like I did with Mr. Flash).

The two exceptions I made for re-covering samples are "Les Ondes" and "La Doctoresse". I opted to redo the former because I made a labelling mistake when I originally covered it in the sampling of various electronic artists 8. My recreation in this video is better, anyway. I explained my reasoning for redoing the latter in the video itself.

AIR is my second favorite band/artist behind Daft Punk.
Included here are all of the tracks from their studio albums and soundtrack albums. I did not include the EP they did (Premiers Symptômes) or the albums they did in collaboration with other artists ("City Reading" with Alessandro Baricco and Charlotte Gainsbourg's "5:55"). It's been over 3 years since then so I figured now would be a good time for an update. I don't think I'll be making any more CD collection videos from this point onward. Video thumbnail created by Mobarak Bin Saad Alzoraig (@alzoraig )[MKWii] Custom Track: Festival Dash (v1.0)PeterTrinkilo2022-11-10 | Hello and welcome to another custom track. This is Festival Dash, a short and simple track with several turns and Piantas in the background. The model was originally made by Putinas and uploaded to the SketchUp 3D Warehouse. I made the track playable in game. I also made some adjustments to the model such as adding more fencing, improving the texturing and making a small part of the road sloped. The original model was entirely flat so I thought the sloped part near the end would be a good gameplay switch up. Admittedly, this is not my best work. I decided to make this just for the heck of it and so I can gain a bit more experience with the track creation process. I tried a few new things like using BrawlCrate to generate the .brres file instead of BrawlBox and making a shaded minimap (the latter of which I've only done once before). Currently, the track does have a few small issues in the technical sense. For instance, there are few very minor position jump bugs that can occur on occasion and the enemy routes could be improved (they tend to have trouble with the 180 degree turn on the sloped part). Still, I'm okay with the track enough to release it in this state. Maybe I'll go back and fix these issues later, I don't know. Regardless, I hope you like this and thank for watching the video!

The original was posted in late 2015 and it doesn't hold up anymore for various reasons. This new version features more samples, improved editing, better recreations and more. It's actually my longest video yet! I hope you enjoy it. Special thanks to @drumrush for helping with some of the recreations. I would also like to thank @alzoraig for co-designing the thumbnail. Drumrush's Twitter Page: twitter.com/RushCompact
The original video can be seen here: youtu.be/ea6rgtmQxU0 I don't recommend it because it's sloppily edited, has some inaccuracies and is missing some samples but I'll always appreciate it for bringing me a larger audience and helping to form part of my identity online.
A few things to keep in mind: - None of my recreations are perfect. They're just to give a general idea as to how the samples were manipulated to create something new. - I'm not trying to shame anything for using these samples. I like and respect all artists featured in this video.
By the way, I apologize for the lack of an audio clip for the song "Best of My Love". It's usage caused the video to be blocked in Austria and Germany so I opted to cut it and just show the sample itself. If you wanna listen to it, here it is on WhoSampled: whosampled.com/sample/349008/Deelat-Wet-Indiez-The-Emotions-Best-of-My-Love
This video was originally published on Oct 27, 2022. However, there were a few smaller samples that I missed initially. I decided to add them to the video and reupload it.
EDIT: At 17:30 and 17:54, I realize I should've said "a SP950 filter" instead of "an SP950 filter" but I didn't catch that until now. Hooray for continued spelling errors in my sampling videos. I probably look kind of foolish for that.

It was made in collaboration with Oh ok. They designed the track and created the course_model.brres file. I did the KCL, KMP and other technical things. This is currently only in beta for a few different reasons. For one thing, the texture mapping in some areas is kind of wonky. There is also a bit of z-fighting at the start of the course and a few other things could use adjustment. Regardless, I'm satisfied enough with the track to publish it in this state. I could always return to this course and make improvements to it later on. By the way, I know I said in my last video that I would likely release "Summer Sprint" before this track but I changed my mind and decided to focus on completing this course first. Anyway, thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed the video!
Download: wiki.tockdom.com/wiki/Twilight_Forest[MKWii] 3 Unfinished Custom Tracks and Future CT PlansPeterTrinkilo2022-08-28 | It's been a while since I've posted anything related to Mario Kart. Recently, I've regained interest in Mario Kart Wii custom tracks so in this video I wanted to showcase 3 incomplete courses. Like I said at the end of the video, I intend on completing 2 of the 3. Here is some more info about each track:
#1 - Untitled (0:05) An unnamed course dating back to 2018 that was made in collaboration with Hman6516. Not much was done with this outside of the course model. It is scaled too large, there is no minimap or skybox and laps don't count. Neither I nor Hman will be finishing this course. Personally, I don't think it has much potential but I still wanted to showcase what was done until development ceased. If anyone else is interested in finishing this course, please contact me.
#2 - Twilight Track (2:20) A linear course that takes place in a forest at night. The model was made by oh ok in 2020. I approach him to ask if I could make his design playable the following year. After being sent the model, I began work on the technical aspects of the course. I didn't make it too far as I lost interest. Though, coming back to it for this video, I think it does have some potential. Though, it definitely needs an upscale and some decorations. UPDATE (Sept 2022): This course has now been released under the new name "Twilight Forest". You can have a look here: wiki.tockdom.com/wiki/Twilight_Forest
#3 - Summer Sprint (3:32) Another collab with Hman6516. He sent me an earlier incarnation of the course asking for some feedback. I thought it was fun to drive but some parts were kind of janky. I later asked him if we could collaborate on a new version and he agreed. What you see in this video is the current progress. I put it on hold at some point in 2021 but I revisited it a few days ago. The section after the yellow hoop will be revamped and the texture mapping for the metal grid is off. UPDATE (Aug 2024): Two years after it was first publicly showcased, this course has now been completed and released! You can find it here: wiki.tockdom.com/wiki/Summer_SprintThe Sampling of Various Electronic Artists 18PeterTrinkilo2022-06-28 | UPDATE Oct 2023: I had to remove the segment of this video where I previewed Cybotron's 'Techno City" because it's inclusion suddenly caused the whole video to be blocked worldwide. A bit of trivia: In this video, I originally covered the sample used in St Germain's track "La Goutte D'Or" but I had to replace it with something else because it's inclusion caused the video to be blocked worldwide when attempting to publish it here. Since I don't want the segment to go to waste, here it is in isolation: drive.google.com/file/d/1O3QzKdPtuBzTVS92Npi0Y3nGGzlJ9D-N

Some of my opinions have changed since making this. You can find my updated ranking here: https://i.imgur.com/7XSyXBm.png. Also, I've noted what each tier/letter means down below. On their own, they might mean different things to different people. On another note, I had begun work on a remake for this video but I later canceled it. You can learn more about that and see what I had done with it here: youtu.be/iPWCNjD_GCc?t=500
Video ranking Daft Punk songs in tier list format. I hope you enjoy! Keep in mind that this all just my opinion and you are of course free to disagree with it. Also, I forgot to mention that in this video I used a tier list with an F tier underneath D tier. Here is what each tier means in the context of this ranking:
S - Amazing A - Excellent B - Great C - Good D - Okay F - Poor

It is a joke track that was intended to be an antithesis to another custom track called "Bounce". Unlike that track, where the goal is to bounce on the mushrooms to avoid falling into the water, the goal of this track is to dodge the mushrooms to avoid being counted out of bounds. This is only in the Alpha stage because as you can see, there are a few major issues (such as bad respawns and enemy routes). Still, I hope you like the track and thanks for watching!

Since they are my favorite music artist and I pretty much grew up with them, I felt I needed to create a tribute video to the French duo. I know my voiceover wasn't the best but I wanted to get this video out before the month was over.

In retrospect, I should've written the script in a way that revealed the album was fake at the beginning instead of trying to build it up and reveal it towards the end. It's really obvious that this is a fake so there wasn't much reason to try and create suspense over that. The point of this video wasn't to try and debunk this obvious hoax. The point was to analyze it and shed some light on this sparsely documented album.
Daft Punk's sophomore effort "Discovery" is one of the beloved albums of electronic music. However, not long after its release, an "early beta" version was passed around online. However, there has not been much discussion of it. In this video, I take an in depth look at the album.
