I sometimes wonder what could have been had I not been brave enough to make the decision I did back in 2016 and what that 'me' would have gone through.This may or may not also be a sort of self-insert of one of the chapters of the Senpai III novella.Disclaimer: Quitting your job and pursuing a full-time career in a creative field like music *is* very risky and is not a decision to be taken lightly. I only made the decision after working out that I would be able to support myself financially without working a separate job. While this video may support the notion the only way to be happy is to throw everything away to do music, please consider all your options. It's also something I go into in the Senpai III novella, namely the ways you can keep music a part of your life through education and work. BFG Division (DOOM Soundtrack Cover) || Sithu Aye Sithu Aye 2016-12-09 | A sort of partial cover of BFG Division from the excellent soundtrack for the new DOOM by Mick Gordon. I absolutely love this soundtrack and this song and it just makes you want to break stuff.This was also an experiment of sorts in trying to emulate the sounds and tones that Mick gets on the soundtrack. I've doubled up all the guitar parts with synths and since I have to play the bass in unison with the 8-string guitar, I've also used on octaver on the bass to guitar an octave below coming through in the mix. All it all it was a fun challenge to try and recreate the raw, brutal sound that Mick managed to create!

Sithu Aye - Set Course for Andromeda (Full Album Stream) Sithu Aye 2016-05-02 | Set Course for Andromeda is my first full-length album since Invent the Universe back in 2012 and to make up for the long wait, I decided that I would go all out with a 76-minute double album. The first disc is a collection of songs which have no thematic tie to each other, but were instead intended to be very progressive and very diverse. Many of the songs included in the first disc are some of my longest as well. Each track is meant to harshly cut into the next, hopefully highlighting just how different each of the songs on the first disc are. The second disc is one 29-minute song broken up into 6 parts, and is meant to follow a sort of ‘hero’s journey’. The twist is that the hero is an alien Andromedan and the space cadets from the first track of disc 1 are observing it after barely making it to Andromeda. Musically, I wanted ‘The Andromedan’ to be nothing like I have ever done before, distinct from both the first disc and from all my previous work.
