I used to stake a lot back in the day but never really made it "big time". Fortunately, I guess today was my day. Solo Corp with RANGE | Stokenut Stokenut 2010-06-22 | Here is my attempt to solo corp with range only. Of course, a defence lowering weapon is required to even hit but it's impossible to otherwise (unless you completely luckbox 20 or so ruby specs) Aside from the risk, one of the most challenging aspects of doing a range kill is the core. The cannon will kill it as soon as you stun so you have three options: Kill it, dodge it or tank it until the cannon destroys it. Dodging and tanking are possible but far more risky so I kill it. Due to the considerable amount of overall XP you get from solo'ing corp, there's a real danger of getting a random while returning and losing your items if you die. So the risk here is quite significant. While doing test kills for this video I actually died and lost around 15m. I don't consider using SWH special attacks as cheating. If you do - go solo it without them or shut the fuck up. I will immediately remove all comments and block all users trying to claim that my videos are fake or illegitimate, though constructive criticism from players that know what they're talking about (have at least soloed corp themselves) will be taken well. This is the SECOND corp solo with range in history. The first kill was by a player called Shippo2wolf, although in my opinion he got insanely lucky to hit 8 Ruby specs. Not to mention fluke the finish at the end of his kill. But congrats to him. I try to complete all my challenge kills using methods that I could repeat quite successfully multiple times. Some players, that manage challenge kills without using summoning or defence lowering weapons for instance, would be terribly inconsistent over multiple kills. My next video will hopefully be a solo with magic. I believe I've come up with a new method for tackling this challenge that has yet to be attempted. OTG vs W77 | A race to 50 Corp kills | 2 Biggest PvM clans clashing Stokenut 2010-05-23 | Re-upload, fixed the broken part. OTG are Runescape's most elite PvM clan, with an average combat level of over 138.4 and all members kitted out with overloads, turmoil and maxed gear, it would be a challenge for any team of players to challenge us in a PvM battle.W77 Crash Unit were brave enough to accept our challenge of a race to 50 kills. Fastest Construction XP | 3M an Hour | (26.3.10) Stokenut 2010-03-26 | I discovered this method of gaining crazy Construction XP the other day using Zombie Implings. From my case sample of a couple thousand jars, you stand to lose about 2.1m per 68k XP worth of bones. -----A few numbers----- 500 Zombie Impling Jars cost - 5.85m Average per 500 is 14 Long bones and 18 Curved bones - 68k construction XP + 50k gp Trade price of normal bones looted - 3.8m Loss for 500 Jars - 2.1m -----Plank Comparison------ 68000 / 840 = 80.9 Mahogany tables = 485 Mahogany planks Normal price of 68k XP using Mahogany planks - 966k Imp price of 68k XP - 2.1m -----Estimates for 99 Con using both methods----- For 99 Con - 11.025k XP 11,130 Tables / 66780 planks = 133.025M GP + Butler payments With Imps 11025 / 68 = 162.1 batches of 500. So about 80,500 jars. Loss of 2.1m per 500. = 338.1m for 99 con. Factor in the pure luck aspect and you're looking at between 300m and 400m for 99.
