AristotleThe earliest video showing off BioShock's development. Uploaded as a retrospective for those familiar with BioShock. Note the early variant of Fort Frolic, and the small size of the Rosie. Narrated by Ken Levine, creative director for BioShock.

Made entirely from in-game footage.BioShock Infinite: Thoughts and predictionsAristotle2011-06-10 | Several of my criticisms have been resolved since this was written and recorded, so some of it is a bit dated. I like to think of the 10-minute tech demo trailer as approximately indicative of the finished product as the initial BioShock tech demo, or even as far along as the "Hunting the Big Daddy" trailer. I'll upload those as well, and those familiar with BioShock can see how far the finished product came from the first look.
For those who want to get an idea of my criticisms of BioShock 2, this guy expresses them well. http://www.somethinginthesea.comThe Weapons of BioShockAristotle2009-07-07 | Alright, here's my third video for Bioshock!
I figured out in the middle of the editing process how to draw on pictures, and I know I went a little crazy with my discovery, but at least I used it to good effect!
I'll have more of the deep, investigative stuff in the next videos, but for now: GUNS!
Enjoy!
Thanks to ROFLcopterExpress for the help finding these.Bioshock-The Location of Rapture *Spoilers*Aristotle2009-05-21 | READ FIRST: Okay, I appreciate people's input, but please read the comments before you send me messages about the location of Rapture. This video was made about over a year ago. A LOT of information as well as the actual game has come out since then. The city DID NOT move. I know this now. AND FOR GOODNESS SAKES! I know that BioShock is a work of fiction! It's just fun to analyze stuff and figure it out before it is given to you, like the end of a Sherlock Holmes story. And yes, I know about the chart right next to the map of the abductions.
EDIT: Please stop suggesting that Rapture is big enough that it stretches between the two points. Both games make it clear that it is no more than a couple of miles in diameter. Also, there is no way that anyone could build a city more than a thousand miles long within three years UNDER THE SEA.
Enjoy!BioShock-Jacks Face Revealed *Spoilers*Aristotle2009-04-23 | Alright, here's my first video, it's about how to find what the protagonist looks like in BioShock.
I address two counterarguments that might come up, as well as supporting evidence for my own points.
My voice is a little nasal in the video because of seasonal allergies, so this is not what I sound like most of the time.
Update 1: About the question mark face; I believe that is the substitute picture that Ryan was using to represent Jack before he knew exactly what he looked like. When Jack arrived at Rapture and the security cameras took pictures of him, then Ryan put the ? picture aside and replaced it with Jack. That's why it is just hanging off to the side, not posted in a place of significance.
Update 2: Regarding Ryan knowing that Atlas and Fontaine are one and the same:
I was referring to how Ryan knew that Fontaine had purchased his son's embryo from Jolene as, and that Atlas is now controlling his son via "Would you Kindly". The wall and his dialogue shows his knowledge of the mind control procedures. Therefore, he knows that Fontaine and Atlas must be the same person due to the relationship to his son. Jack's ownership wouldn't have passed from person to person.
He wouldn't refer to Atlas as Fontaine beforehand for two reasons. First of all, he had a point to make about free will, waiting for you to encounter him in person before dropping the bomb. Secondly, it would have killed the twist if he revealed it for you from the beginning.
