Parkour is hard to do, and parkour is hard to film. So we decided to throw one of our best athletes a camera and challenge him to film parkour while also doing parkour at the same time! Joe is a professional parkour athlete with over 15 years of experience in the sport, and is one of the most highly skilled Parkour athletes worldwide. This analysis is designed to show how viral stunts like these are not real. The front flip in the subway station is fake, DO NOT do any parkour or stunts in front of trains. Storror are a professional parkour team, do not imitate the movements in the clips analysed.
To be clear, I've worked with Storror a number of times in the past on various projects. This video is not made to create drama with other parkour youtubers, only to analyse how they made that video and where the cuts are. Go support them and subscribe, I don't want to see people commenting rude stuff on their videos.
I have significantly transformed this content by analysing and commenting on it, for educational purposes. This is part of my wider concept of explaining how videos of this nature can be faked, and cannot be mistaken for the original source video.

If you actually read the description, leave a comment with your favourite video-game and I'll let you know if I have played it!FAKE backflip over speeding car EXPOSED!AMPISOUND2020-07-25 | Flipping over a supercar has rapidly become a big viral trend, from crazy stunts like a front flip over a lamborghini to jumping multiple cars in sequence. People have even taken this further by doing sketchy looking flips on the edges of buildings!
However, there are a number of these clips that are completely fake and have deceived everyone! In this analysis content, I break down how people have used visual effects to create these videos, and educate on how they are created with my own mini tutorial.
As I mentioned in this video, these clips are faked. Obviously, do not go and try any of this stuff.
Did you know these clips were fake? Leave a comment and let me know which got you!
Explore the rooftops of Rio in this parkour POV shot in the most cultural city of Brazil! We teamed up with Picasso Parkour to capture the beautiful locations and parkour movements during their run from the beach to the two brothers mountain in Rio. It was awesome to see Brazilian culture and the City of Rio de Janeiro expressed through parkour, with their route taking them from Ipanema beach, to Escadaria Selaron, the Favelas and more!

Picasso Parkour are a professional parkour team from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The movements in this video are performed by professionals, with years of training going into the preparation and execution of every movement. If you want to get into parkour, we recommend you seek local tutors and gyms to start your training. As always, remain within your abilities.
I was introduced to them by Charlie Havill, from our recent FLUIDITY project, and the boys each sent over a handful of video clips to be included. They had the option to pick the music for each of their sections and I edited everything together, giving a fun VHS style to the project.
Some of the movement collected in this video is incredible and I think it’s going to be really interesting looking back on it in the future!
The athletes in this video are performing parkour at a professional level and many have competed in global championships. This represents the very pinnacle of movement in the sport. If you are wanting to start Parkour, seek out local tutors and remain safe and within your abilities at all times.
Source video - Removed it because you guys are being too mean in their comments! If you want to insult them or the video do it in THESE comments please where I can atleast keep an eye on it x
Trying out a new idea for this channel with a more personal, one to one style. We put this video idea up on the community tab and over 10k people wanted to see it, so if you enjoyed it and were surprised by what we discovered please leave a comment and a like!
This is a test, we want to try releasing more frequent projects and as a result the movement and content of the videos will have to change slightly. It is difficult to frequently upload when most videos take two months to make, so by creating a video in just a few days we hope to be able to put put out more content.
Leave a comment and let us know if you still enjoyed this style video, or if you are only interested in the very best Parkour action!
The movements in this video are performed by a professional athlete in a controlled way, Shane has over ten years of training. We strongly advise anyone wanting to get into parkour to seek out their local parkour academy and get tuition from experts.
It felt awesome to go back to one of Ampisound's very first styles of parkour video, getting as close as possible. The legends at Wiral and GoPro hooked us up with a wire system and a 360 camera, so we knew it was perfect for a unique parkour video. The shots you can get with the wire cam especially are beyond anything we've ever done before and its so much easier than a drone.

New York, New York. In this Rooftop Parkour POV, The Unknown Project explore the Manhattan skyline. NYC is one of the most famous cities in the world, and the Unknown Project, one of the hottest new Parkour teams, have been making it their playground recently. Collaborating with them on this POV has been a pleasure, and the amazing stories of how they created this content can be found in their behind the scenes videos linked below!
This video features highly skilled, professional athletes. We advise all beginning athletes to seek local classes and parkour facilities, becoming part of the community and gaining safe skills for movement. Do not try attempt anything in this video without appropriate training. As always, remain within your abilities.
It's difficult to even begin to comprehend how we got here.
Ampisound has grown from a logo doodled in a school maths book, to a worldwide recognised symbol within the parkour community.
What started as an awkward kid making parkour videos of his friends, turned into the central project of his adult life.
Things have somehow progressed from community jam videos, to large scale productions. Projects with brands, budgets and cameras that film in higher resolutions than 720p.
One million people have felt moved enough to subscribe. Saying ‘We like what you’ve made enough that we want to see more’ through their subscription and support.
The parkour community has reshaped entire lives in unique and positive ways.
One of the core values with this channel has always been to inspire through movement.
If the moments captured here have given reason for a single person to involve themselves in Parkour, then it has been worth capturing them.
The Prestige 15 laptop absolutely smashed the edit, and having a laptop than can playback 4K 60fps footage with effects on top is amazing. If you want to learn more about the Prestige 15 check it out at the following link!
The story behind the filming of the 'On Ascent' video. It was a fun few days with Harrison and Shane, and we got to try a lot of new stuff with this Vlog format too.
Genuinely you have never seen a full 'vlog' type piece of content on this channel before, so if you love or hate it, the comments are where you should tell us your feelings!
Our plan going forward would be to try to do these BTS vlogs but only when they come with a main 'core' video. Ampisound is not turning into a vlog channel, dont worry.
It's been a minute but we're back in 2019 with a concept video. Its really common in parkour videos these days to see people descending down obstacles, either the amazing car park style descents which use rhythmic drops, or the equally epic parkour style descents that use jumping, vaults and rolls.
So we decided we wanted to make a video that was only people going up. Going up stuff really fast. Shane Griffin and Harrison Fernandez put together some rapid ascents for this video, shot between Haverhill and Cambridge.
As with all movement on this channel, the athletes featured are trained professionals who have spent years practicing their skills. If you are interested in parkour, we suggest you find a local tutor to guide you, and insist you stay within your abilities at all times.
Run the rooftops of Barcelona in this Parkour POV through the eyes of Brazilian Parkour athlete, Luis Alkmim, as he explores the artistic city through movement. Barcelona is one of the coolest European cities for Parkour so we knew we wanted to film a POV there! Luis found a blend of rooftops, classic parkour spots and iconic sights to try to give a whirlwind tour of Barcelona.
This is the second collaboration with Luis, and if you enjoyed them so far, like the video leave us a comment! 30k likes and we will make a third episode!
Luis is a professional parkour athlete with years of experience. We recommend you find local coach or class before attempting parkour on your own, and as with any physical activity, stay within your abilities.
This video marks the last of this year, the plan was to make 12 videos (1 a month) but in total we managed 9. It’s actually 5 more videos than 2017 (we only did 4 last year) and its epic to have nearly achieved the initial goal.
Going into the new year, the plan will be to try to continue this monthly video trend, and moving forward open Ampisound to more and more athlete collaborations. There are a number of experiments we want to try, and though we intend to keep the videos high quality action focused, it’s probable that vlog-style content will also begin to feature on the channel.
It's been almost 11 years of running this channel and it's all thanks to you dedicated subscribers ❤️
Back again this month with another Parkour edit! Ever since Vacancy, I've been bringing out the gimbal a lot more, which you should really see here!
This video serves as a bit of an introduction of Harrison Fernandez to the parkour community. He will hit me up so frequently suggesting we film, so this video has a lot of him in as a result! Not to mention he is so talented!
It was also cool to get some shots with my pals Phil, Jay, Alfie, Dan, George, Connor, Shane and a few other guests in here too. Please bear in mind all the athletes in this video are professionals, with years of training and experience. Stay within your abilities and find support when starting parkour.
I just released a new line of ampisound shirts, if you fancy supporting the channel and wearing one of the oldest parkour brands in the game, then pop on over to the store and check it out!
In this rooftop parkour POV, professional parkour athlete Luis Alkmim tours his hometown of Lisbon, Portugal, showing his view of the city. We wanted to make a POV that has great parkour and freerunning, but also some cool action moments. If you enjoyed this video, make sure to leave a comment of which city and athlete you want to see next!
Luis is a trained professional parkour athlete with years of experience. As with all movement, stay within your abilities. If you are interested in starting parkour, we suggest you find a local class and get training from an instructor if possible. Do not recreate any activities performed in this video without professional training and or supervision.
It was really good to collaborate with Luis on this video, he’s one of the coolest characters in Parkour, his vlogs are always so interesting and his movement is so underrated. Make sure you follow him on Insta!
We travelled to Croatia to film parkour on the rooftops of five abandoned hotels. Using slow motion cameras, we captured three of the UK’s best freerunners reclaiming the space through movement. The hotels were bombarded during the Croatian War for Independence, and you can still see the impact hits on the walls there. They have since been abandoned for twenty years. Kupari is set to be demolished and rebuilt in 2019, so the vacancy might not be for much longer.

This Rooftop Parkour POV is all about the art of descent. Parkour is used to escape or to reach places, and rapidly moving through a space is an amazing way for people to train exactly these elements.
The athlete in this video is Nick Ortiz, one of the most talented, professional athletes and most experienced with these particular kinds of descents.
Collaborating with Nick on this project has been awesome, because his particular skillset is so rare in the community. If you aren't already following this beast, you should be.
As with all movement, stay within your abilities. If you are interested in starting parkour, we suggest you find a local class and get training from an instructor if possible. Obviously don't go trying things you are not ready for.

Experience Parkour from the point of view (POV) of the athlete as you run across the city rooftops. We spent ages scouting brand new locations and routes in the east of England for this one. It took us most of the summer to make so we hope you like it! If you enjoy this content, don't forget to subscribe and hit the bell to be notified of our future videos!
Blown away to have so many of you legends subscribed. Will be in the comments replying!
So, I teamed up with Renae Dambly and Saskia Neville, who wonderfully talented professional female athletes, and we shot this over four days. We put a lot of effort into this project, and we really hope you support females in parkour as much as we do!
Explore the rooftop runs in a sunny Parkour POV, shot in Cambridge UK, and see a first person view as Connor runs and jumps from buildings. We wanted to go back to a classic Parkour video feel with this POV, as much fun as movie themes and costumes are, Ampisound was always supposed to be about the parkour. Leave a comment to tell us what you thought!
We had a bit of a break, but we’re now back with new parkour and freerunning videos as often as possible. Since the early days of youtube, the focus was on high quality short content however, recently its become more about longer, blog type videos.
Would you like to see more of that style of content? Or shall we keep things infrequent but and short?
This is the second sponsored film we’ve done for Last Empire War Z. It was so much fun to spend a project running around and battling zombies! This one was slightly more about cinematic action, instead of the usual parkour, so it was really interesting for everyone on board. We hope you liked the film and leave a comment with your thoughts on it!
