N-Filter Smoke Haslab Pack notbuster126 2023-06-09 | Upon further tinkering I should be able to move the smoke machine up to the little panel on the side, just need a slight cable extension. So I should then be able to keep the cyclotron inside like normal and access to the machine from the side panel since the batteries need to be removed when stored as they drain if not removed.

Haslab Proton Pack Personal mods and replacements (updated) notbuster126 2023-02-04 | Updated video, going through all the mods and replacing I've done on the pack. Still waiting on the valve for the pack, the haslab one is so dinky. Next big mod is going to be a smoke kit that will go though the N-Filter. I think the components should fit in the little slot next to the n-filter inside the cyclotron area. I'll try and drill a hole through the side interior and out to the top of the cone that's molded in and lead the smoke hose though there. A small micro fan and LED should also fit nicely in cylinder. That will probably be in the next month or so.

Ghostbusters Trap notbuster126 2021-11-16 | This is the ghostbusters trap and pedal. I just installed the lights, it took me a good while to fit the light bar because the space in where it goes was insufficient. I had to use a dremel to cut the area wider. I think it's supposed to go flush with the panel but... whatever. There's also a speaker in the trap which I like to play spooky ghost sounds on, to make it seem something is inside. The pedal is just a prop and doesn't really do anything for the trap. You can step and squeeze it though like in the movies. I added some decals I thought were neat that are not screen accurate. I'm going to install a small LED light on the pedal so it looks more alive. There's no way in hell this trap is going to have working doors, that's beyond my technical abilities. I am thinking of putting 2 small haptic motors on the door panels though, to simulate a ghost trying to get out, that I can do!If you are wondering, the trap is a "make it yourself" kit by Benofkentprops on etsy or ebay. It is 3d printed and requires a bit of effort to assemble if you want it done right. The knobs were a real hassle as his kits don't come with any way to make them turnable, just to glue them on. I first tried a potentiometer but realized it was far too large for what I was willing to do. So I went with rigging a screw onto the knobs through the side panels to let them turn. It worked fine and made all the knobs more interactive. I wedged some paper under the knobs when I was using JB weld on them just in case it leaked out so it would not attach onto the panel itself. I just need to scrape them off now. The pedal has a lot of screen accurate parts not from the Benofkentprops kit. I prefered to use the real deal parts as his 3d prints of the relay and front cable gizmos looked kind of bad. You can find many of these parts on etsy from other vendors. The lighting is from a completely separate vendor as well. You do not get any electronics from the 3d printed kit.

Elite Dangerous Derpin notbuster126 2015-12-08 | I'm pretty new to this game and it's so complicated, I was just messing around flying randomly. I jumped into a combat zone to check it out and then left my computer for a minute. I came back and I had another pilot staring at me point blank.I tipped my wings as an indicator I meant no harm then jetted out of there ASAP. At the end you can see just how HUGE this game actually is. It's the legit galaxy o__o And I was just wandering around a mere spec of it with the jump drive. I need to visit the SOL system and check out earth. You need some kind of permit for that tho XD
