I read it at a time when I was grieving, and it had me sobbing so many times. It's a beautiful love story wrapped up in how people process grief. It was one of my 10 best books of the decade from 2010-2019. It starts as a ya romance with the two mcs about to graduate high school and then transitions into a second chance adult romance. These were my favorite books of the series, both getting six stats from me. The OTT possessiveness was entertaining AF and the audiobooks had me listening in one sitting. Welcome to my Bookshelves (episode 28) BecxReadz 2024-06-26 | Book 48 on my bookshelves is Lotus by Jennifer Hartmann. This childhood friends to lovers romance sucked me in. I loved the relationship and how it progressed very naturally. While flowers on covers can be really annoying because they don't usually pertain to the story, this cover goes so well and is so beautiful. Welcome to my Bookshelves (episode 27) BecxReadz 2024-06-25 | Book 47 on my bookshelves is The Hollow Places by T Kingfisher. This humorous horror is one of my fave T Kingfisher books. The male best friend has a lack of depth perception and ya blind girl here could really relate. This was a fun, weird, portal story that entertained me more than scared me.
