You'll need: Something to cut with Something to score with a sheet of 12x12 cardstock ( I like double-sided, but it doesn't really matter) and some glue.
This is the same way I did the card for my recent Winter Wonderland card video. You can see that video here: youtu.be/YyI9Jr0LmT4

In this video, I show off my "Magpie Jar" aka cute glass jar of random wibbly bits. I also show off some recent papercrafts and explain a bit about how they are done. In editing, I realized the camera doesn't always have the best angle or focus, but unfortunately, if I re-record it then I've already seen the Magpie Jar and you don't get to see it for the first time with me. So I decided to just go with it. Here is the link to the stand-up card Template: craftworld.com/cms/free-stand-up-card-template
Unfortunately, I can not find the Little Women papers still available anywhere. You could perhaps check eBay, or various buy/sell/trade groups.

I'm by no means the most experienced crafter, but I have been doing it a LONG time, so hopefully, you enjoy hearing that even people with 30+ years of experience (I started VERY young) still hit snags with their projects!
Here's hoping this saga comes to an end today!
Thanks for watching! #sewing #myworkbasket #lutterlohA Sewing Tip, A Sneak Peek at a Crochet Design, and Life StuffMy Workbasket2021-09-12 | I mention not having time to make the design team item, I realized I forgot to mention the actual publishing process as part of that time restraint. I could likely make it, but making it AND having it photographed, description typed up, etc, probably not.
By the time this is posted and you're reading it, I have the thread in my posession, and yes, the yarn is a bit bright. He hasn't seen it yet to approve or veto it yet.
I hope you enjoyed this quick video. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
#craftvlog #myworkbasket #crochetShould you buy a vintage Lutterloh set?? My Thoughts on Old vs New LutterlohMy Workbasket2021-09-09 | I wanted a Lutterloh set for years and recently I got one, and another on the way almost immediately after. Since I finally (after 20 years of waiting!) had a vintage AND a new set in my hand I decided to answer one question I always wondered- is it worth it to buy a vintage set? Should you just cave and get a new one??
In the video, I mention my vintage set several times as a 70's set. It's technically a 70's to 80's combo, with some patterns from I believe 1979 to 1982. I wouldn't personally spend money on a set from the later 80's. I'd be apt to buy another earlier 70s set, since I know the patterns would be different.
So anyway, there's my thoughts, and I started a playlist called "Maybe this is helpful?" just to put it on. :)
#lutterloh #vintage #myworkbasketProjects in Progress & a Recent FinishMy Workbasket2021-09-06 | In this vlog, I just show off the current projects I'm working on, there are several, and one recently finished item.

Would love to hear from you in the comments about what you're working on in your crafty world! My Thoughts on my Newly Purchased Lutterloh SystemMy Workbasket2021-09-04 | After 20 years of talking myself out of it, I finally dove in and bought a Lutterloh set. I purchased the newest set in a full bundle from lutterloh-system.com In this video, I chat about my thoughts after FINALLY purchasing the system.
Also, I say "yesterday's video" but I'm spacing it out a bit more before it goes live. If you watch right away don't feel like you missed something. :)

I am sort of looking for a specific idea which I mention in the video but also just doing a general flip through. I go a bit faster and show off a bit less than some previous Friday Flips, but it is what it is.
Thanks for watching!
#vintage #crafts #myworkbasket #fridayflipMaking Goose Arms (wings) For a Plastic or Concrete Lawn GooseMy Workbasket2021-08-10 | Hi guys! In this video, I show you the process for my trial and error goose arms/wings. They're on my goose right now so we shall see how well they work and hold up. I did Scotchguard the arms before putting them on. I didn't Scotchguard the towel, because I figure we'll just wash it after it comes in and it may not stay with the goose clothes. I suspect I'll be making another pair of goose arms at some point. I'll use the same method assuming it holds up okay outside but I want a better armature. These are cute but not quite as flexible as I hoped. I may end up having more than one pair in the stash, just to fit different outfits in different ways.
Here is a link to my Facebook group dedicated to Goose clothes. I was surprised there wasn't such a group already when I got my goose, so I started one. facebook.com/groups/528970421678550
#lawngoose #porchgoose #myworkbasket #gooseclothesFriday Flip- The Special Oops its Saturday Edition! My Workbasket2021-08-07 | For this "Special Edition," the first step is to completely forget what day it is! Step two is then to do it anyway with a vintage issue of Pack O Fun from April of 1979.
The Friday Flip is a time for us to hang out and chat, while I pretend you're sitting across from me and we're sipping coffee and showing each other weird stuff in random magazines from my collection. So, chat with me in the comments below. It can be about anything from this video or anything at all, nothing is off-topic because my brain doesn't really do topics. :)
I hope you enjoy this blast from the past, and thanks for watching!
#vintage #crafts #myworkbasket #magazineChat with Me while I clean my craft room tableMy Workbasket2021-08-05 | In this video, I chat with you about what is on my craft room table and why. I spend the time cleaning and sorting and talking about how much I hate cleaning and sorting. LOL
So if you need to clean your table off, do it now while you watch/listen and we'll be cleaning and chatting buddies. :)
I start with a table so full I can barely use my tripod, chat about crafts, homeschooling, art classes, ADHD, life, and then end up with a table where I can actually work!
I do mention Thriftbooks and here is a link for that. It's not an affiliate link, but it is a "refer a friend and you both get perks" type of link. So if you use it I do get a possible kickback of some kind, and if I do then you do as well! thriftbooks.com/share/?code=IcnY1I7MCFSWj8f7ybwrcg%253d%253d
Thanks for watching and have a great day!!I got some free art goodies! I broke my Summer of Stash doing it though. My Workbasket2021-08-03 | I realized as I was prepping to record this video that I totally broke my summer of stash. I was doing so well and have been really dedicated, until now. I broke my own rules without even really realizing it.
I do still have a month of my SOS to go and am definitely cracking back down on myself. I also feel like I've made some long-term changes and that even after it's over I'll be better about what I buy.
#craft #myworkbasket #mixedmediaI got something fun!!!! Its not crafty, per say, but it can be crafted for!My Workbasket2021-07-31 | I got myself a birthday present and made this quick video as I unboxed it. I am SO excited!!! I mention another video in this video, and it will be posted after this one. Since this was quick I decided to go ahead and post it, especially so I could share my excitement!
You'll be seeing this creature on the channel again as I occasionally make outfits and new things for it. I don't want to put them outside naked, so I'm currently making a quick top hat and bow tie while I upload this video.
If you also love these wonderful creatures I was surprised that I couldn't find a Facebook group for them, so I created one! facebook.com/groups/528970421678550
#yardgoose #lawngoose #gooseinclothes #crafts #myworkbasketFriday Flip- Im Speechless over this pattern book with an unknown copyright dateMy Workbasket2021-07-23 | Every week on Friday I flip through a vintage magazine in my collection that is either new to me, or I haven't flipped through in some time. Today it is one that is new to me. Pulled fresh from the box of recent acquisitions that I showed in a previous video.
I find something weird, wild, and maybe wonderful. I spend a good chunk of this video downright mind-blown speechless. I discover what is easily the wildest Friday Flip find yet (moving Cucumbers as Gifts to the second-place spot) and possibly the wildest thing I've ever seen period. You guys I have seen some THINGS. This downright just blew my mind.
Aunt Lydia's Rug Yarn pattern booklet with unknown Copyright date. Some of the patterns and styles are a bit all over the place, so I have a hard time guessing a date.
Chat with me in the comments below about things from this issue that you found interesting!
Also, the weird find is growing on me. I can't say I'd make it, but IF I found a well-made oen in a thrift store, I would probably buy it. I'd put it near my coconut dentist Mr. Bab.
Thanks for watching! Have a great day!
#vintage #funfinds #myworkbasket #FridayFlipMini Mixed Media Houses- I took an online class and show-off my resultsMy Workbasket2021-07-20 | I took an online class from here: themakerbeehive.com/classes And these adorable houses are my results! I can't give a full tutorial for the houses since I followed her directions, but the class was really affordable and I recommend it!
Some other things to note: I reference this other video of mine: youtu.be/v2mIF7VX7w0
Also, my website is back!!! I will be posting most regularly here on Youtube, but anywhere from 2-4 times a month, I will be posting on my website. My website will have a focus on patterns, tutorials, and projects I am entering in challenges/contests. My Youtube channel will feature all of those things, PLUS vlog chats, Friday Flip, quick tips, etc. Essentially everything on my website will also be on Youtube, but everything on Youtube will NOT be on my website. Also, anytime I create a pattern and discuss it on YouTube the actual pattern itself will be on my website. http://www.myworkbasket.com With this exact set of houses being located here: (will be adding this link in just a few minutes after this video goes live.)
(This video is a redo. It originally went live a few hours ago and I realized that something went wrong at least one huge chunk was cut out. So I removed it, re-edited it, and am posting it again. Hopefully with better results this time!)
As always, thanks for watching, and have a great day!!!
#mixedmedia #crafts #myworkbasketMaking Collage Paper- Just showing off some EASY ways to add more variety to your paper stashMy Workbasket2021-07-17 | I was making a stash of collage papers for a project and decided to show some of them to you. I discuss some easy ways to change your papers, and even make junk mail something usable and fun!
The video is recorded sideways because I need a new tripod set-up for my table. Sorry. Just have to deal with it for now.
I used some of these papers in a class I took online, and I'll be posting that video in a few days. I'll add a link here for it when it goes live.

This week's Friday Flip is an issue of The Workbasket magazine from August 1987.
Something I chat about this time- how juice used to come in cans, timeless patterns, cookbooks, and a recipe I misread as "mop water" (and the correct reading wasn't much better.)
Chat with me in the comments about your thoughts on this issue!

I wanted to do better but life is life. KWIM? Check out all the other videos in the hop and I'm sure you'll see some amazing stuff!
I did have some fun playing with The Best Glue Ever, and I'm really excited to try it with other mediums and other crafts entirely, like miniatures! I'm sure it will be popping up on the channel again.
The video showing these final several cards is a bit delayed, and I discovered one is missing, but it's finally here, a quick show-off video of the final cards.
Some notes: The paper is 28 lb, bright white, "Inkjet & Laser Paper" it's thicker and smoother than regular plain copy paper.
Thanks for watching!I brought home a carload of craft and vintage items!!My Workbasket2021-06-30 | I went away for the weekend and returned with a carload of craft-related and vintage items! Knitting Machines, books, magazines, coffee mugs, etc.
The very beginning and end of the video are a bit shakey. Sorry about that! I need to check my camera settings because its stabilization seems a bit off anytime I go handheld.
There are going to be several follow-up videos to this because I show a box of books and magazines that I'm going to record separately, and I am going to do a more in-depth video of just the knitting machines and supplies.
I'd LOVE to hear from you in the comments! Which items that I found are your favorites?
As always thank you for watching!!

This board is SO MUCH fun!!!
Thanks for watching! Let me know in the comments if you have, or want to get, this fun new punchboard!
Also if you do order the board I suggest also ordering additional rubber bands (although at this exact moment they are sold out.) This is the second week of a month-long challenge to post a card every day. I've been making cards on the weekend, and then sharing one each day, then at the end of the week I post a video with more details like where the supplies came from, brands, stamps used, etc.
I said I'd share the source for my printables, Papercrafter Magazine. The general link to everything is here: papercraftermagazine.co.uk
The exact link to the download I used for most (all) of my cards this week is here: papercraftermagazine.co.uk/downloads/free-american-crafts-scrapbooking-printablesHow to Make a Perfect Mini Bow- with a fork!My Workbasket2021-06-12 | This video shows as oddly grainy on my computer and I apologize for whatever caused that. The how-to itself should be pretty clear though. Usually, I make them even quicker than this quick video but as you see if you watch my ribbon was a bit shorter than I usually like to work with and it caused me to struggle.
I love using these mini bows on things like doll clothes, cards, etc. Any time I need a perfect little bow. I've also done larger forks, like a serving fork, to make larger sizes, or you could even hold tape two forks together so they create a larger area with more tines and work it all together in the same way. The trick is to just use the width of the fork for your finished size, and then work in the middle space for the center of your bow.Crochet Blanket- Plus How to Switch between British and American crochetMy Workbasket2021-06-11 | I started a crochet project to use up some yarn and wanted to do a quick video to introduce the project. Then since it's in British crochet terms I wanted to share a tip for how easy it is to switch between British and American terms. It's easy!
Keep in mind that British terms are also used in historic magazines and books, so if you use old old books or magazines for patterns then the terminology is most likely in British terms. For example, my old Needlework and Crafts from the 20s use British terms, as do my reprints of Weldon's Practical Needlework. I'm not exactly sure when the American terminology really started to come into play. In my collection, I have both with no specific years where I said "Oh I can see it switching over."Friday Flip- With Cucumbers! My Workbasket2021-06-11 | This video really proves that I don't remember every single thing in every magazine I have, because I JUST flipped through this issue recently and in this video, I discovered something I definitely did NOT notice the first time. I'm still laughing about it. A kooky find for sure.
Tell me in the comments your thoughts on this issue, especially on the cucumbers!!! As always, thanks for watching and have a great day!!!Craft Room Tour - Before The Summer of Stash Stash-Busting ChallengeMy Workbasket2021-06-08 | I'm doing a summer-long stash-busting challenge that I'm calling The Summer of Stash. I thought it would be fun to record a craft room tour before the SOS got too far underway, and then another tour after the SOS is done. I'll also be doing more general cleaning over the summer so the before and after might be pretty neat! I doubt the after will be super clean and amazingly tidy, but it might still be a fun amount of change. As I explain in the video I had shoulder surgery last summer, so the room was never actually finished to begin with, then a school year of near-daily use did not do good things for its cleanliness level.
Also, SOS is a fitting abbreviation, because my stash needs HELP. I think very little of my full stash is actually even in this room!
Thanks for watching! I Hope you have a great day!!!!The June Cards!
