n i n e c r i m e s [Jellal x Erza] xXMooniieXx 2022-08-29 | What is this? Wat. Is. Dis.A (kinda) full AMV in raw with Fairy Tail in 2022 from me???Okay guys hear me out! A couple of days ago I stumbled across a VERY old AMV of mine on my old channel, with this exact song and couple! The AMV was hella bad, like reeeally, but the song fits Jerza just like REALLY well! And I was actually pretty inspired to re-do this AMV. Is it a remake when you nearly change everything of the old video? I dunno, but this is it. At first I was really happy with how it's going, but then I kinda ran out of all the ideas I had, which basically were: follow the lyrics as closely as possible. Anyways, at the end I filled the last like 6 scenes that were left just with Jerza scenes I really like :'DI'm not overly happy with the flow of this AMV tbh, I think it's kinda unsmooth at times, but other times its okay, I guess. I also need to work on my colorings, I'm never really satisfied with them. I wanted it to be kinda soft and warm and glowy, I dunno if I managed to get it... I also love, how everytime the lyircs go 'Is that alright with you?' The face of them literally say: "It's totally NOT alright, wtf?!" And yes, even if Fairy Tail kinda went bad for me after the Grand Magic Games I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this couple with all my heart! It's like... perfect! I am even happy with the ending! I didn't need them to be officially together but "Erza caring more for her hair since she heard of Jellals pardon" is like so directly in your face, without being out of character - I love it! It's until now just for 3 month, but if they like my work I may be taken over, so wish me luck!ANYWAYS Naturally I thought, I won't have the motivation to edit any stuff in my free time now, which actually might be true, if I start a bigger project, or join a MEP or something, where I have a deadline, but that isn't the case with small personal projects ofc.I actually had motivation to edit a new SasuIno video since my last SakuIno upload, because people were commenting, that they miss my SasuIno work... and honestly... me too :D So today I had somehow a lot of motivation and decided to use that wonderful song for a new SasuIno video. It is quite simple, and yet I kinda like the outcome a bit. Not so many scene manipulations, even if I only used still frames, but searching for scenes is always the worst part for me, so I worked with masks and screencaps I already got. I find the lyrics quite fitting tbh. This is how I wished Sakura would've reacted as Sasuke apologized to her. Sasuke did to much shit, to just be done with an apology, so ofc I made Ino react, how I would think and hope she would. When Sasuke apologized for his past behavior, she is first surprised he did. Then mad, that he thinks that an apology is enough to make up for for the shit he's done. Then sad, because she now remembers all the feelings she has had because of him. FANTASIZE [Black Butler // MEP Part] xXMooniieXx 2020-04-09 | Well this Part took me quite some time...Not really creating the Part itself, but deciding on a character. I was really smart with my own MEP theme here X'D It was basically sexy and dangerous, cuz the lyrics are obvious and there are a lot of Gun SFX in it! And I don't have such Video Material... at first I wanted to use Durarara but I wanted to use a sexy women, so I then wanted to use Beast from Black Butler, cuz she's damn hot but then I remembered that Mey-Rin is freakin bad ass! And although she is a maid and has a pretty nice body she isn't sexualised often. I only knew one szene - where they were bathing in a hot spring... But well I kinda fixed on Mey_rin since I actually adore her a lot and so I went more with the dangerous-gun part of the theme than the sexy part :'D Now that I think about it, I could've used Celty from Durarara, that would've worked perfectly... but I haven't memorized the Anime well ... it's so complicated.... so I would've taken even more time X'D This MEP was just totally out of my comfort zone, it isn't even the style of song I usually edit to °A° But I managed to get something out of it ^^ Someone else kinda confused that fantasize is basically a mix of the words Fanta and size ??? [MEP Part] xXMooniieXx 2020-03-26 | Soo this partI did this part in June 2018 - I was so scared to upload it, because Pink songs are always so hard copyrighted, but lets give it a try. I was so proud of it, tbh... And I still really like the outcome. Those who played the game probably understand, why I chose certain scenes. For example, the thing I want to point out is: "If you are wrong" is the scene, where Chloe says Max to not answer as Kate called her, ofc Chloe doesn't know Kates problems, but over all, she was very very wrong there! But I just don't do it and I hate myself for it... so I'm actually proud that today I at least edited SOMETHING! I was actually pretty much inspired by my own AMV X'D what an arrogant thing I am ^^ No but the old Usui x Ami crossover kinda sparked something deep inside me and I wanted to edit with them more, so here we go :'D Usui is just a guy enjoying his life and attractivness to seduce all the women. But he also get easily bored until he met Ami.... I actually just wanted Ami to be another one of his girls but oh well, now she's half of the video XDD Anyways - you guessed it, do not expect more editing in the future, sadly, since I really need to work on a show reel and always feel bad when editing AMVs or something similar for youtube.... Editing Appreciation Challenge ?! [2012 - 2019] xXMooniieXx 2019-12-08 | Hey Duuuuudes, First Of all - I sadly needed to replace one song with a cover and had to distort another song very badly... but they're both at the beginning so after you get past that, everything is allright :'D soooo thanks to my dear friend Retrotika I was tagged to take part in this challenge, and I am honestly really greatful for that!This challenge really brought back my motivation and love for editing! Seeing old edits and being proud of them is just one of the greatest feelings I'll ever have! And now, all I need to do is watching this video instead of scrolling down my channel! I originally wanted this video to be short... not more than 10 minutes... then I realized I'm nearly 10 years active on youtube, so I wanted to include my old channel also... but then I had so my videos I wanted to include so I decided I'll only take 3 videos of each year! Well.... didn't work out either, so I deleted all videos from my old channel I originally decided to put in and only included Videos of this channel! And the video was still over 20 minutes long. So one day later I watched it again and took videos out, that I wasn't like suuuper excited about. So this is the final product! It's still way to long! I decided to sort them a bit. *Most* Fun - it means I'm not really satisfied with the result but I remember having a lot of fun editing this particular video! *Best Edited* - those are the videos I now think turned out pretty good! You can most surely also count these as "most fun" videos, since I nearly only produce decent videos when I'm having fun doing these. *Personal* - these videos have a big personal meaning to me *Best Idea* - is really just one video - I just really love the story but also the way I edited it - I just wished I masked better... It was really hard to resist the urge to fix all the mistakes in those videos :'D I nearly had all videos still somewhere on my PC, just a few from 2012 and 2013 I had to download again...! I can't believe how fast the time went! Like honestly, I thought some SasuIno videos especially are not over 2 years old?!? Damn looking at my past self with my GerZa obsession! Still love this pairing aaaaa whoooole lot!! ♥ That drastic change in 2017 when I started working with AE.... but you see a lot less videos with After Effects than with Sony Vegas here..... Oh damn most fun was probably 2013 the Sakura edit... Damn I loooooved animating that text! And I still really like the look of it! I wanna do that again! That Rei edit at 2014 was a little Gem I found on one of my harddrives. I looove the outcome so much - the timing is just incredibly good in my eyes! 2014 is also the time I kinda found the style I try to aspire with that Gumi and Teto edit! The 2 most fun and far reaching edits till today are probably that Ino edit in 2014 and the Kurumu edit in 2015. Those really motivate me to this day! Can we please appreciate the font Singer Mears in the Kutau Parts?! This font is basically the symbol of the best AMV editing community time! Fight me on this! You don't really see a lot of MEP parts... I often joined MEPs just for the sake of joining and putting my Name out there back in the day... So the motivation and outcomes of the most MEP parts don't really spark anything exciting inside of me... Since I am really greatful for this challenge, as I said before, I wanna tag people I lost on the way and may or may not find this video and feel inspired to bring back their old editing - emotions! I'm not mad tho, the video isn't as bad as the 2nd place video X'D Also as soon as the adorable Alicia Marie uploaded her cover of this song I knew it was PERFECT for the story I had in mind for this tribute! Anyways this video here is a sequel to the old one. Short Story Time:Meg continues visiting Jim in his lonely, abandoned castle but she rarely stays longer than a day, since she does have a life in the city. One day Jim and Meg argue again, because she is about to leave again. But Jim is just scared everytime that she won't come back... Meg finds that cute and decided to stay the night and... things happen... Anyways the next morning she remembers all the great times she has with Jim in the castle, but also that she does have friends outside. Suddenly a feeling of sickness overcomes her, she finds out, she's pregnant. She struggles wether or not she should stay, Jim surely can't guarantee a good life for her and the baby. Times later she tells Jim, who's shocked but as soon as he realize Meg is about to leave, probably for the last time, he convinced her to stay... at least for now.Did Meg make the right decisions? I surely don't know. How much time passes between their night together and Meg realizing she's pregnant... I also don't know about that... What I know, is that I really need to stop using old maskings X'D You can like totally say which masks are old and which are new, since the old ones have those little spaces between hair wisps, hate that! But I masked sooo much, I was glad to use some pre-masked scenes!Also now that you see that, you might understand, why I was not motivated enough to edit a second sequel for the SinJimDim video.... you understand, right? x_xOh btw I had that headcanon that Meg is indeed a bit bigger than Jim, but sinc Meg is always looking up, I wasn't really able to let that show. Also the end scene... ugh meg is just sooo thin that it does look weird, no matter what I do.... It was also hard to align the eyes, so for osme scenes I just ignored that they're not rly looking into each others eyes. ALSO that weird wiggle waggle right before Meg tells Jim about the baby... I was not able to fix that, they keyframes changed and changed... I'm sorry for that u_uOh and please don't expect a third part... Itachi was (I think) never sure of his feelings, but then he recall ItaInos actions and how he felt everytime Ino is with Sasu and realises he loves her. Sasuke was always jaelous of Itachi tho. And I THINK it should've ended with ItaIno... but I'm not overly sure X'D ANYWAYS that's basically it^^2016 - This was a simple AMV I started. It should've contain GerZa too.... but I didnt even come to that. I lost motivation earlier... maybe because it's basically Anti SasuIno and Pro SasuKarin??? This is probably my last collection which contains mostly studio MEP parts. I already left a lot of studios and went on a hiatus a while ago, because my life was taking a huge step! Now I have to work on my Bachelor-work and honestly I enjoyed this time of nearly no deadlines! And I want my editing to come back to what it was: A hobby which I used to do when I had fun - not because I had to hold deadlines! It's not my work - it's my hobby. I won't get stressed because of that anymore! I will work on my own projects, when I have time and motivation; And simply: When I want! That's it! No more forcing me to editing and if it means I won't upload anything in 4 months, then I'm sorry but that's what it's going to be! I hope you understand! Not that you have to, since I'm gonna do my thing! But just that you know! This is the right thing to do! I don't need to proof myself that I'm a good editor, I don't need to be part of a big studio to think I'm good! I know there are editors out there who are way better than me, but after all, I am going to work in that direction in future! So I don't need any acknowledgment to know that I'm good (enough)!!
