Hey guys! This video's going to seriously improve your flip reset finishes, and help you flip reset like top mechanical pros. While this is an advanced tutorial, it does build upon the Car Control and Dodge Control videos that I've already put out (linked below). If you struggle to do what's in this video, that's expected! It just takes dedicated practice and a consistent routine over months... just like someone going to the gym.
I've been incredibly surprised with the engagement on my last couple videos - thank you for all the likes and thoughtful comments. If you have any questions, I'll make sure to respond.

Hey guys! This is the first video of a new Positioning Tutorial series.
The training method I show here is how I've always coached Boost Management, which is just memorizing important pad lanes. That's something I picked up from analyzing 100+ MonkeyMoon replays, and then successfully implemented in my own game and in the players I've coached.
It's a fundamental skill that's extremely easy to master. So nothing's stopping you!
A couple notes about the training pack: 1. For console users, you can still use the pack, you just won't get the sound feedback of pad pickups. 2. I didn't go over each shot in the training pack, as that would make the video quite long, but there's plenty of variety.
I hope you all enjoy a different kind of tutorial - if you have any questions or want to discuss, just comment below!

Hey guys! I'm confident in saying this is the BEST double tap training you can get. It's super game-like, with about half of the shots sourced from real pro gameplay, and things like high momentum start speed + shot variance. Had to run for a tournament right after (wasn't expecting to win so many games), so we'll just try to learn from a string of 5 games. I'm sure you'll see an evolution of my game from a couple years ago.
I think I'll be grinding 1s ranked to win towards the end of the season (and see how I can climb in MMR), but for the meantime, I'll be moreso playing to improve my mechanics. But I'm still taking it seriously, I'm just going for "riskier" attacking moves.

I do feel like this is more of a mentality video than anything, so I tried to convey the process I go through when trying to improve a certain skill, in this case, dribbling. You can easily apply this to learning other advanced skills, like double flip resets, wall stops, or whatever you can think of!
I'll also be trying to feature music by some of my, in my opinion, wildly-talented friends in future videos.
This one features my good friends, Carl and Alan Maguire. Alan's got an incredible ability for composition, writing the first two pieces by the time he was 19. Carl... well damn, just have a listen to his solo at the end. It's hard to describe what he does to audiences, but it's as if he's a conductor, controlling the energy in the room, slowly walking the tempo and complexity up to a crescendo. Absolutely electric, I always get goosebumps when I get to see that live. These guys are massively talented, so show them some love!

A lot of the feedback I've been getting is that it's more exciting if you don't know when my loss is coming, and I can spend a few minutes doing Q&A at the end of each video. Been a while! I thought I'd share a new delayed flick I've found that's only possible with Air Roll Left/Right on PC. It's a pretty powerful move, although I know most players use normal air roll or don't even have the option to use these bindings. Even so, I hope that this creates some awareness of the advantages of Air Roll Left/Right (beyond freestyling) in the hope that Psyonix will eventually release these bindings to console players.

No matter your level, whether it's 50 or 1500 hours played, you'll find some drills here that'll challenge you to improve. My belief is that if you invest your time in now, you can save yourself hundreds of hours of in-game to get to the same level... So why not commit to some daily practice? Get practicing! Defending the backboard pass is one of the toughest things to do in the game, but if you can do it effectively, then you can nullify one of the most effective attacking moves - the rebound shot.
