Swordless version (requires shield) By Bakeneko. Around same speed as mine. I personally don't like the full speed rolls tech. The 2nd variation is the simplest one: youtube.com/watch?v=dorG9AyQ3tQ
The original ideas for the angle and position searching space were inspired by Ikswool. Bakeneko setups are an improved version of Iks' ones.
Setup Description:
1. Get a straight angle using the walls, grabbing the edge of the bridge, or whatever way you want. You need to end up looking contrary to the bridge. 2. Turn 2 ess left. 3. Sidehop into the corner. 4. Backflip, sidehop right, backflip. 5. Turn 90º right via ess or using shield, if any. 6. Sidehop right. 7. Turn 90º right via ess or using shield, if any. 6. Turn 2 ess right (corrects initial angle) 7. Perform Hookshot Extension and aim vertically until you see the red dot
Hookshot Extension: Pull out the hookshot in first person mode without holding the button. Hold the direction you want to aim, press A and, on the next frame, hold the hookshot button. You will know you got it right if you hear the sound immediatly.
The aiming is more precise than other methods, but it won't make you fall down if the red dot is active, regardless of the breathing.
WARNING: If the red dot is not active, you will can still hook the wrong part of the pole thus falling down the river.
Notes. -This setup doesn't work with the right pole -Works if you perform the last sidehop facing to the other direction (do not attempt to use this feature to reduce the amount of needed ESS turns, the angle will not be the same)

This is a setup for asserting a high consistency of the trick. The concept of GIM is the same but this demostration provides certain setups to avoid having to manually aim with boomerang or manually position yourself.
The setups are:
-A setup for throwing the boomerang through the corner after killing the Like Like -A "series" of setups for making the boomerang touch the deku shield from the cage (after the throw) -A setup for placing the deku sheild in the best position around the crawlspace
Basically for max% child (avoids doing the revival on water method with a huge amount of hearts, which is heavy rng based)

Every part of this setup but one specific thing is exactly like the original Jolin's setup.
The main difference is the way to obtain the ground clip position. This setup doesn't make use of the stick nor visual clues for obtaining the position. It still requires a frame perfect input, which can be buffered and repetible.
Referer to the original video for any doubts about any of the other parts of the setup, which are the same.
Explanation of the setup for the ground clip position --------------------------------------------------------------- 1: After inverted camera, place yourself into the corner. Don't walk too far or the warp will activate 2: Backflip and start holding down during the backflip 3: Release down on the shown frame (link's feet is perfectly alligned with the floor texture) 4: Sidehop left (up on the joystick) 5: Sidehop right (down on the joystick) 6: From here you have the correct X value that allows you to clip, you can move free through the Z coordinate.Ocarina Of Time Recoil Jump Everywheresuperguerrer32018-05-04 | *works as child and adult exactly the same *should work with the opposite corner by inverting inputs (ess left)
Proof of concept, more research is needed and also a proper tutorial.
Introduction ------------------- A recoil jump is when you perform a twisted backflip and your shield gets hit midair. It is a known concept that is used in certain situations or categories such as bug limit or low% forest temple categories.
The only reason to perform a recoil jump instead of a ground jump is not having bombs. If you have bombs, performing a ground jump is faster and way easier than this technique. However, there are situations where bombs are not worth getting.
The concept of a recoil jump everywhere works as both child and adult and is the following:
1. Find a corner that you can normally grab with a ground jump 2. Start ESS shuffling, which lets you change your angle for a couple of frames without moving 3. During that angle change, drop a well timed chu that explodes on the right position from link 4. Regain the shuffle and perform the angle change again 5. Do a twisted backflip towards the corner 6. The chu will hit your shield and you will be able to grab the ledge
Further investigation must be done to look for a setup that doesn’t require a corner, but only a wall. To achieve it, you will need to jump towards the same direction as you dropped the chu, which is tricky because if it hits you, it will probably push you back . Requirements ---------------------- -Bombchus -Shield -Any age -A corner with a ledge that you can normally grab using a ground jump as child or adult -Flat ground is prefered -If not flat ground, the chu drop timing might be different
Execution ---------------
1. Start and ESS shuffle on the corner and drop a chu (you can drop the chu before) 2. Buffer to 8th red flash (this is the only part that should change if you are not on flat ground) 3. Hold down for 1 frame 4. Hold shield for 1 frame 5. Buffer 1 frame so link starts moving towards the wall again 6. Start holding ESS again when link is moving towards the wall (4 frame window) 7. You will continue to shuffle at this point 8. Buffer to 7th or 8th explosion frame of the chu (keep ESS shuffling) These frames look like the explosion is blurring link’s body 9.Buffer 1 frame of down+shield 10. During the unpause lag, hold up-left and a to do a backflip 11. The explosion will hit your shield and you will grab the ledge

Forest Medallion cutscene skip using a bomb or a bombchu, as child or adult, without shield or sword. This video includes all 4 possibilities and offers an extra setup for the bombchus one that doesn't require to memorize frame adjustments; the downside? It's slower.
All bombchu setups are self-contained, which means that you can jump directly to the one you need, the video will explain all you need for that setup.
Bomb setups are NOT self-contained. If you want to fully understand the inputs, you should start watching the first one. Where everything is explained. All the others are basically the same as the first one but including the required adjustments.

Setups you should use if you have sword and shield:
Consistent setup for adult poe cutscene skip, which allows you to reach the basement early, using bugs. Useful for bingos and any category that needs to reach the basement and doesn’t get fish.
This video shows all 4 possible frames that work for initial reference. The first part of the video, that displays all the information about the nature of the setup showcases the first possible frame. The rest of the video demonstrates frame 2 to 4 without any extra annotations.
Explanation ---------------- 1. Hold down after entering the door.
2.Drop the bugs on a specific set of frames (4 in total) On this point your camera will face left or right (it depends on certain factors which are not important for the trick, you can get it either way)
3. Start holding the direction link is facing during the animation, being it straight left or right.
4. After dropping the bugs, link will start moving to the opposite direction you are holding then immediately turning around. Catch the bugs again on the correct moment (2 frame window) You can keep holding the direction after using the bottle, or hold any direction that faces the bugs if you feel you are going to miss them.
-The secret beyond this setup is that you don’t need to remember every possible frame and situation, you only need to memorize 1 frame: when link starts slowing down when facing the door.
-Each 4 possible drop frames result on the same output, if you are able to buffer to that specific frame, you will always get the trick (considering the bugs not running away)
-Ideally only 1 pause is needed if you are consistent in getting the drop frame window. Bufferless is also really easy with visual reaction, more information about this can be found on the document.
Backups ------------- -Dropping the bugs early: Catch and leave the room before the cs triggers or knowing the specific frames you have to advance. Holding right or left won’t even get close to the bugs if you drop them early.
-Dropping the bugs late: Leave the room before cs if you have more bugs, reset otherwise.
-Catching the bugs early: Attempt to open the door immediately.
-Missing the bugs: Leave the room before cs if you have more bugs, reset otherwise.
Notes -------- -As child, you can’t use the same visual clue, you will have to acknowledge the exact frames, which can be found on the resources sheet. I wouldn't recommend using this setup as child if anything else is found or documented properly. Despite that, child has 5 frames for the drop.
-Wait around 5 seconds before clearing the text, this way you will always reach the elevator before it starts moving, getting in the fastest time to the basement.
-Frame 2 and 3 are more consistent than 1 and 4 if you don’t do any adjustments when pressing bottle, with adjustments i believe the consistency of the trick is around 100% regardless of bugs rngSetup for entering Inside Jabu-Jabus Belly as adult with bombssuperguerrer32017-09-13 | Forward megasidehop method originally found by Bakeneko youtube.com/watch?v=kaetnK8_hw0 Bomb method found by Exodus112 youtube.com/watch?v=kFe9E0pOa0w Alternative bomb method by Valientlink youtube.com/watch?v=DmqCo3YyuHs Setupless alternative bomb method by MrFilipovic96 youtube.com/watch?v=MiKHM0rapbk
Setup description:
Alternate way to get the initial position for the bomb method of entering jabu jabu using simple movement
-Requires master sword, adult shield, hover boots and bombs. -It does work with bombchus though turning an extra 180 degrees is necessary. I wouldn't recommend using this setup if you plan on using bombchus, use any of the bakeneko ones instead. -This video will only explain the required inputs to get into the initial position for rolling into the bomb, the rest of the trick is exactly the same as using bombchus, watch Bakeneko's video to figure it all out. -The angle and jump slash frame are the only crucial variables for this trick (entering jabu) Initial position is not precise if you get the mega sidehop below the ice with hoverboots right -The setup length (from first movement to pulling out the bomb) Is 7 seconds
Setup explanation:
1: Get the pillar angle (or use any lined object) by targeting it, turn 180 via your preferred way 2: Get into the corner, sidehop left, roll and release target (side roll left) 3: Backflip, roll and release target, wait until link stops moving on the ice 4: Hold target, backflip and roll without letting go of target, link will fall from the railing 5: Pull out a bomb and wait until first red to blue transition (first blue works, need to find the exact first frame), shield drop the bomb and roll forward, doesn't matter if you drop and roll instantly or not
Note: You have to wait a bit for dropping the bomb because its position will change depending on the moment you drop it. If you drop it too soon you won't leave the grabbing range thus making the setup a lot harder.
6: Turn 180º via tapping down or shield turning, ess turning barely makes it because the extra time spent waiting for dropping 7: Roll on the megaflip range frames, perform the forward megasidehop method (described in Bakeneko's video) In order to enter jabu. The inputs after the explosion are exactly the same for both bomb and bombchu method using any initial position setup
Problems and Backups:
1: If you are falling into the water after rolling on the railing, you did the second backflip without waiting for link to stop on the ice 2: If you get grab range, you dropped the bomb too early, you can fix this live by moving a bit away as shown on the video 3: If you first pause on 2nd explosion hit frame, the mega sidehop will end up landing on the ice. This setup only works if you pause on the 1st explosion frame (More information about this issue on Bakeneko's video) 4: If you mess anything after the first side-roll, you can sidehop into the corner and restart the setup from the backflip part.

Only tested on Wii VC, should work on every version
Future improvements: -Find a simpler setup with less elemental movements -Find a setup that works with pausing on 2nd explosion hit -Check if sidehop speed is enough to clip into jabu with the same method -If sidehop speed works, attempt twisted sidehop clip which would mean explosive-less jabu as adultOcarina Of Time: Dondongos Cavern statue head climb without explosivessuperguerrer32017-08-25 | Simpler version of the trick by Bakeneko: youtube.com/watch?v=H-wt8_OZKl0
Ocarina of Time: Setup for climbing into dodongo's cavern top as child from boss entrance
-Probably only useful in Beta Quest: Rom Hack made by mzxrules that randomizes entrances -Allows the player to obtain bombs with only a sword -Works on every version
Setup Explanation: 1. Target the most western side of the mouth, this will always give you the same starting angle 2. Turn 90º left via ess. Tapping or shield turning also works 3. Roll or walk up to the pressure zone, it will slowly push you back 4. Wait until your position is stable (8 seconds at very most)
Note: You don't need to walk into the pressure zone in order to be pushed correctly, this means that if you first target the mouth, wait around 6 seconds then turn left via ess the initial position will be correct
5. Backflip and store a sideroll (this is done automatically if you keep holding target) 6. From this point your analog stick must remain neutral until new order 7. Press a to start a sideroll, pause on the first frame link moves 8. Release target for 1 frame (buffer 1 frame without holding anything) 9. Retarget and keep holding it 10. Buffer 3 frames more (Until you see link's eyes after rolling) 11. From this point hold straight up until link starts jumping (3 more frames) 12. Relase stick, you can either stop or keep holding target from this position, won't matter 13. Buffer 4 frames while link is on the air without holding any direction 14. Buffer 1 frame holding left 15. Unpause and hold b+analog left until link lands on the head 16. If you don't hold anything you will grab the ledge, you can prevent this by holding shield or keep holding left after landing among many other ways
Requirment Notes: -It only requires a sword -Works with either kokiri or master sword -Doesn't work with deku stick with the same setup, but it may be possible with another -Works with or without the mouth textures loaded (They load once you blow up the main wall on the cavern)
Other Notes: -The numbers shown on the screen are x,y and z position then facing angle -You can get the trick without waiting for your position to be stable on step number 4, but you shouldn't get greedy -May work from the other side of the statue, but the sideroll after the backflip goes to the right without manipulation; you should start from the left side -If you have bombchus but not shield: Getting bombs this way and buying the deku shield afterwards is faster than buying the deku shield first then obtaining bombs the normal way going through the dungeon -Alternative Method with bombchus and shield: youtube.com/watch?v=nv2UpF5YQg0 -If there was possible to get a perfect jump and angle, sword wouldn't be needed -Backup strats: There are none, the setup is totally precise and won't work without these inputs. However if you miss a frame you can get back into the mouth and try again:
1 Missing the retarget step / missing holding up: if you don't hold anything during the sideroll, link will fall no matter what, to avoid that, you will need to gain speed during the sideroll in order to jump (this is achieved by holding the direction link is facing during the roll). Once you are jumping, hold in the opposite direction link is moving (not facing) to kill all the speed. Time a jumpslash to re-enter the mouth, if you are too early you can hit the upper part and the recoil will make you fall anyway
2 Missing releasing up / holding left: Jump slash once you are on the air, normally you won't hit the upper part of the mouth, falling back inside of the mouth
-Ideally you only need to pause 6 times: 1: After pressing a to start the sideroll, you don't need to buffer the a input using start after backfliping, just press a and inmediatly start 2: Buffering the release target frame after starting the sideroll, start holding target on unpause lag 3: Pause when link's eyes become visible after the roll, you wanna start holding up during the unpause lag 4: Pause when link starts jumping, release stick 5: Pause on the 4th frame link is jumping on the air, use link animation clues to determine if the frame is correct instead of room clues, the camera changes depending on various factors so it's not reliable 6: Buffer the left input, hold b during the unpause lagOcarina of Time: Enter Farores Wind Fairy Fountain Without Explosivessuperguerrer32017-06-27 | Setup for entering farore's wind fairy fountain without explosives or hammer
In order to get to that area you must either hover (which requires explosives) or perform a hookshot death jump. roll invincibility hookshot jump underwater seems like maybe doable, but the height is not really enough.
Scaramanga's setup covers the hookshot death jump: youtube.com/watch?v=Zdqqx1cJXKE This video shows a variation of the last part with an initial position and angle.
The setup explained: 1: Target the fake woods wall in order to get the angle 2: Walk or roll into the corner starting from the west wall, this gives you a consistent position and angle 3: Perform 2 backflips 4: Perform 2 sidehops to the left. If you had a bad initial angle you will fall, you can prevent this by looking you are on the right position after the first sidehop 5: Turn 3 ess right and target; you can hold target from here to the end 6: While holding ess right position on your control stick, switch to full right in 1 frame. Hold right from here. This can be done via pause buffering. 7: Input A to perform a roll on the next frame. 8: Wait until the 5th frame after link starts jumping 9: Hold left until link touches the ground
Ideally you would need 3 pause buffers in order to perform this trick consistently, but you can do it unbuffered if you are quick enough.
Pause 1: Switching to ess to full right Pause 2: Hit A after pause 1 Pause 3: Switch from right to left while jumping
If you miss the frame where you should switch from right to left, you can jump slash to avoid falling down.
This trick itself requires no items, getting into the zone however requires hookshot + iron boots / explosives + sword + shield
