First track for my new album, Requiem of Ruin! Inspired by Castlevania, the album will contain 14 or so songs all written based on an idea for a game I had.
This is the first one, made for the first part of the game, taking place in a long since abandoned village in the light of the moon. Some story:
The year is 1422 in what we know today as the United Kingdom. The Roguemont family has been the protectors of humanity for centuries, protecting humanity against all sort of evils. They were demon hunters, alchemists, inventors and many other things. At one point, the large Roguemont family had gigantic schools dedicated to teaching the art of monster slaying. But, that was many centuries ago.
The land has been peaceful for many generations now, and the Roguemont family has slowly but steadily gone away from their monster slaying roots, instead taking up farming, husbandry and other forms of work. Then, after one night of a crimson full moon, demons and other monsters decimated a small fishing village on the south shore of the land. The youngest member of the family, Sofiya Roguemont, quickly decided to take to arms and follow in her familys old footsteps. With her family sword in hand, she hurried to the source of the monsters, Callborough Fort, on a quest to end the new threat.

The Music Challenge for this week was to compose a chiptune track, of some kind. The rules allowed for 16-bit sound as well, so I went with a track using an emulated version of the synth used in the Sega Genesis. The result was this piece! Really good fun making something new, I hope you enjoy!

After Milo manages to traverse the Choco-Coco Casino, he finds himself at a beautiful beach; waves brushing the sand, crabs running around trying to find new homes, palm trees with delicious fruit ready to plucked. As the silky sand touches his flippers, the smell of seaweed reminds him of home.

This is a song for the Music Weekly challenge! The theme was Santa VS Elves, so I decided to write a battle theme for it. The orchestral parts represents the elves, preparing for the upcoming battle and their fight for their own rights. While the guitar and Synths represent Santa, and his menacing profile.

It will contain heavy influences from Kirby, as can be seen on the artstyle. It is about Milo, a happy blue penguin, saving his world from the evil claws of Mr Fluffybottoms!

Third song on my Big Boss Bash album. This one is inspired by a scenario where aliens have attacked earth, and the human race is quickly reaching extinction. The few people left who are able to fight try to regroup in Washington DC, and name themselves The Washington Protectors. They are the last hope left, and this song is a way for them to stay active, kill as many aliens as possible while looking cool as heck while doing it.

This song is the first one for my next album, Big Boss Bash! An album filled with boss music goodness that will release some time later this year.
This track was made with a boss battle in mind, taking place in the fictional city of Elysium around 30-40 years into the future. You're fighting V, self-proclaimed king of Elysium, in one of his many nightclubs. He is a jokester, rogue and modern day harlequin.

A new thing I might make into a more dedicated series, I don't know yet. I've always liked the dungeon music in Zelda games, and I decided to make some of my own for a Zelda-game that I have in my head.
This song would be for a dungeon in the middle of the game, taking place in a large swamp called Dobo Swamp. The dungeon would not only take place on top of the swamp, but also beneath the swamp in a large sunken and flooded temple that has long since been abandoned.
I might just make a few more of these; I really enjoyed this one!

So here we are, the end of this little project. (I have another song I want to do, but that will be outside of this project)
Took me about 2 years to compose the 19 songs that the soundtrack consists of. Could've done it faster, but decided to let it take time and let myself do other projects in the middle of it as well.
This song is for the very ending of the game. I decided to remake the ending of Mega Man X for it, I felt like that would be very fitting. A lot of fun to do, and I really do hope you enjoy.
Thank you for staying with me during this project of mine, and stay tuned for more music. I have a couple of projects that I will show to you guys eventually, but for now, I am going to enjoy my vacation for a week or two.
This is it, the final fight, the last stand. It took some time to create it, I restarted my progress 3 times during this song; I had some major troubles finding a general direction and a lead motif. But, I am happy with the final version!
Just one more song planned for this project, and then this 2 year long journey will be finished. Stay tuned!

This one is for the first phase of the last boss of the game, Axl. The fight is divided into two phases, and this is the former phase. The phase where Axl is still very much corrupted, but with small glimmers here and there of his old self.
Starting to reach the end of this project very soon. I have 3 more songs planned for it!

I wasn't really planning on doing this one at first, but after playing around with it a while, I decided to complete it.
This song would play at the end of Axl Stage 3, when they finally find Axl. This song would play in the cutscene that followed.
I wanted it to feel both hopeful, because they finally managed to reach Axl. Perhaps there is still a chance to save him? But at the same time, I wanted to make the song feel more tense and off-putting as the song went on, because while the cutscene would start hopeful, it would be pretty clear during the cutscene that the Axl that they once knew is no longer there. Because of this, I wanted to make the song not only tense and "scary", I also aimed to give it a slight Lumine-feel, by including harpsichord.

This song takes place during the third Axl Stage, the one after the Dynamo fight. X and Zero start reaching the core of the hideout, finding more horrors and more enemies on the way to the central core of the hideout.
I wanted the song to give a feel of "Yeah, let's pick up the pace". Fast paced, hectic, but not dark or sad, but instead action packed and kick-ass.
I hope you like it! Starting to reach the end of this project now, I only have a handful of tunes left to compose. It's been a very interesting ride, and I am looking forward to compose the next songs.
So, before Axl Stage 2, X and Zero received a kinda cryptic voice call. Of course, the person on the other side was Dynamo.
This song was a real blast to create, mostly because the Dynamo theme is kick ass, but also because remixes are always fun. Tried to keep it fun and carefree like the original, but also kinda serious at times, since everything surrounding the fight isn't as carefree as the character himself.

The tune for the second Axl Stage! This one is more calm and sligthly sad, as this is the stage where X and Zero start to realize what Axl actually has done to achieve his goals. Horrible actions, things that really can't be forgiven. They start to understand that they might not be able to save him.
It is also during this stage that the parasite is starting to affect X and Zero as well, simply for being in the vicinity of it. Expect a couple of visual glitches and changes, based on the parasites influences.

This is for the very first boss of the Axl Stages. A familiar enemy for people who've played other Mega Man games. It's a new version of the "Devil" enemies that has appeared in other games. A big blob of purplish goo, a monstrosity made of both biological and mechanical components.
And since it is a Devil fight, I thought it would fit very well to do a remake of the classic Devil theme from Mega Man 1, with a bit of influence from the remake from MMX5.

This is the song that will be played on the first "fortress" stage, in this case, the first "Axl" stage. It is a remix of an old song that I wrote a two years back, but already back then I wrote it for a scenario like this.
This stage starts out with the player racing out from the city on a Ride Chaser. After a short ride inside the city, they will eventually reach the coast. A big part of the level will take part on and under the water, avoiding obstacles and killing enemies.
After the long water race, the player will reach the cliffside where Lumine Uprising has their base. The players will then have to climb the cliffside, using walljumps and the platforms available. (Like the first Sigma stage in MMX)
Sorry for taking so long to get this one. Most of the other fortress songs are almost done or are being worked on, so expect more soon!
This song was created for the "normal" boss fights against the 8 Maverick fights. It was a lot of fun to compose, and I think it came out pretty well!

This song was created for a stage that takes place at a crash site of a huge satellite. The player will explore the desert around the satellite, and the insides of the now destroyed satellite.

This track was composed for the Sanctuary Highway stage. The boss in this stage is Captain Skydive.
Every X game needs a stage that incorporates a Chaser of some kind, and this stage is just that! It takes place on a major highway that traverses through the city of Sanctuary. Expect a lot of high speed, a lot of airborne and vehicular enemies!

This track was composed for the "tech lab" stage. The boss in this stage is Techno Vulture.
The stage takes place, like the name implies, in a laboratory that specialises in modern tech and the progress of the digital world. Think like the Cyber Peacock stage in MMX4.
A stage that takes place in both the physical world and the digital, with a lot of traps and programs trying to stop your progress.

This one would play in the stage that takes place in a city called Sanctuary City. Imagine the intro stage from MMX5 if you will. A pretty upbeat and slightly slower stage with a lot of platforming around in a cityscape.

This one is designed to be played on a stage taking place in an old and since long abandoned weather monitoring tower. A tower that is broken, filled with collapsed walls and floor. Nature has taken over since long, and old malfunctioning electronics are a big threat as they cause fires and other hazards. Mix that with the harsh wnd and rain, and you got a dangerous level filled with platforming challenges.

This one would play in one of the levels. The level itself takes place in an abandoned and flooded crystal quarry. The environment will transition from beauiful crystal infused walls and caves, to completely submerged caves. Sort of a mix between a ice and a water level.
It was a ton of fun to compose!

This one is for one of the 8 Maverick stages. This stage will take place in a jungle. The player will start in a dense part of the jungle, and as the stage goes on, venture into parts a lot less dense. Eventually, they will reach a large deforestation site.
I have a lot more of these MMX9 songs on the way, as I just love doing them. Expect more soon!

I've always been a fan of the MMX series and its soundtrack, and seeing as Capcom isn't really treating Mega Man in a good way right now, I decided to start creation on a fan soundtrack to MMX9. I think it is going to be a lot of fun!
I'm going to be mostly inspired by MMX4-6, as those were the games I played most as a child.
So, the overall story of the game (I am not really a good writer, so excuse me if it is cringe worthy):
The game will take place right after Mega Man X8 but before the elf wars, three weeks after X, Zero and Axl’s return from the moonbase. Axl has been unconscious ever since Lumine crushed his crystal, planting something inside his crystal at the same time.
The game will feature X and Zero, with Axl being unplayable for the entire game.
The main villains of the game will be faulty copy chip reploids. While the production of the copy chips stopped after the incident in X8, not all of the reploids equipped with the copy chip were apprehended.
An almost cult like following was formed by the remaining new generation reploids, with a common goal throughout the unorthodox community; to finally succeed with Lumine’s vision of a new world, free of the weaker reploids and humans. While it is unknown what the cult calls themselves, the Maverick Hunters have found a liking to “Lumine Uprising”.
As for the stage: X and Zero gets a Maverick call from a crowded part of the city. Apparently a group of 4 Mavericks have caused damage, killing humans and reploids in a busy part of the city. X and Zero answers the call.

This one is a remix/remake of an old song I wrote a few years back. I've always liked it, and I decided that it could use a new fresh coat of paint.
It was originally written for a RPG where society has crumbled and humanity is standing at the peak of extermination. This one has the same kind of premise. I wanted it to feel sad and filled with emotion, but also include hope and determination into the mix. I hope you enjoy!

So it took me like a month to do, but it was a really fun song to remix!
At first, I wanted to keep it very close to the original, not using any symphonic instruments and keeping the overall structure the same. But, after some discussion with my good friend David Ketikidis (soundcloud.com/senjan-1 ) I instead decided to go for a more symphonic approach, which sounded a lot better. Just couldn't get those synths right!
Also tried to make the song a bit emotional at times, as the time you actually hear this song in-game is a very emotional event, atleast when you think about what Sans is tring to do and why. So, I tried to reflect that in the song as well.
It's been a blast to compose, and while I have begun on Spider Dance as well, I might take a small brake before doing that one and actually compose something original first. We'll see. Thanks!

So, I've been playing the fantastic game Undertale the latest week or so. The soundtrack is amazing with really nice tracks like Bonetrousle, Megalovania and Spider Dance. I couldn't resist making a "remix" of atleast one of them, and the one I went with... Bonetrousle!
It was tons of fun to remix this one, there are tons of room for gimmicks and small but fun unusual things. I really wanted the second half of the song feel like an organised chaos of a tune, with tons of things happening but with the melody keeping it all together. I think it went pretty well!
I really enjoyed creating this one, it was a nice change of pace to sit down and create a remix. Enjoy!

Now, this song is a heavy eletronical song. I don't do electronical songs often, so I decided to give it a try. While not my finest, it is still alright.
The premise, and the inspiration for the name, is basically a wave/survival like scenario. Something like.. Think, maybe a Deux Ex or Matrix like world, where the hero needs to survive waves of bad guys. Sort of.
