Around 600 BC the Greeks expanded their knowledge of the land to make viticulture flourish in southern Gaul. Thanks to its terrain, Mediterranean climate, and location (bordering the Mediterranean Sea and Spanish), the French say the Roussillon has the potential to be in the same breath as the great names of Burgundy and Bordeaux.Then we continue on to Aragón in Spain, it's here where we harvest Garnacha grapes and discover the wine has long been worthy of royalty, being the Kings drink of choice back in the day. Col d’Orcia is the third largest owner of Brunello vineyards in Montalcino and the largest organic vineyard in Tuscany.
