Anyway, here in GT5, they've gone with the "lots of power = terrible control" formula for everything I've tried so far. 'p'GT-Rs are more street car class though and those are pretty solid. ; )Seemed to get slightly better fps in the Cape Ring Periphery, which omits the large inner loop. Was pretty bad in a full face in Cape Ring. But I also just couldn't control the darn cars anyway; can't stand it when cars just spin out on their own in normal conditions. ; P Tried buying Racing Soft tires for one--instead of sticking with the default Racing Hards--and it helped slightly, but not enough.Should probably just stick to the Premium cars, since I prefer driving in cockpit view, and that flat black generic interior for the Standard or whatever cars is just awful--also then you have to keep switching your view camera when switching between Standard/Premium cars. 'p'There are cars with both Standard AND Premium versions for some reason! And somehow I'd failed to find it elsewhere by googling--probably everyone else just took it for granted that it was obvious. ; DD I wanted to know so I could be sure NOT to stumble into it accidentally, because I want to do the DLC first, and make sure I have a chance to try to tie up other loose ends.So as everyone else probably knows, the endgame IS in Leyndell, Ashen Capital (that's a different version of Leyndell, Royal Capital, that appears after a certain plot point--you'll know because the game teleports you there to make sure you don't miss it. ; D), which for some reason fextralife calls "Capital of Ash" in their route guide. Ashen Capital is basically a big ash dune with a few treasures scattered around a doorway into a series of end game boss battles. I did the first battle--which is quite easy--but I'm going to leave the rest--which you might have to do back-to-back? not sure--until after I do the DLC and everything else.Cute misdirection with NPC Haight: you meet him early in the game and he seems like an obvious lying jerk, so I didn't want to work for him, so never progressed his quest--but in the game's usual completely unintuitive way, his quest gated my best girl Nepheli Loux's quest, so her quest never progressed and I hadn't been able to figure out why. ; D At least it's a pleasant twist to a quest (Haight's), for once, rather than the usual depressing type--so really caught me by surprise. ; )) Similar to the imaginary twist I was fantasizing about for Boc, actually.Oh yeah I should check up on Boc's quest. And supposedly Sellen's quest can be advanced in Gelmir, which is where I've been planning to go next. Warriors may get up to a maximum of 6 attacks per round: pure spellcasters are limited to only 4: other classes may get up to 5. Your attacks per round with a weapon are displayed as a decimal, e.g. 2.3 or 3.4 etc. The fractions take the form of unused energy which is carried over to your next turn.~~~~Anyway I guess mostly rounds are turns used for melee and so if you use your TURN for melee then you get that many attacks, more or less all at once. But speed makes your TURN come up more often?
