Gradual tension, setting levers as they barely begin to bind, jiggle test at that force of tension making sure all levers have true gate travel, then continue applying gradual tension. Eventually, 1 or more levers will be heavily bound which will require tapping that lever repeatedly and manually backing off tension until it breaks loose and able to be set. Always a blast.
