2021 Project Roundup [CGI Edition] Keyineii 2022-01-02 | Happy New Year! Wow, looks like I've been busier than I thought. Letting me join MD19 was a mistake, now all I seem to make are plot heavy crossovers!! And god help me, some of these may even have ... CONTINUITY. What have I done. Anyway no promises on finishing these (although I do intend to, but y'know...things Happen)I think I started all of these this year, and put them together pretty quickly too. I've been finding CGI crossovers weirdly easier to edit, but I think that's largely down to avoiding masking/complex manips wherever possible. Hell yeah. OK enough preamble, let's move on ... 0:15 | 1: WHO YOU FOOLINWell, with an instrumental like that ... I cast around for possible characters to fit and settled on these two. Evil boyfriends. Yup. 0:56 | 2: FINDING YOUFun fact, I had another project planned for this song, which I'll discuss if/when this ever gets done. It was a reincarnation themed MEP, essentially. But yeah, I love Barley, he's so fun and endearing, and this song is a jam. I'm still figuring out what magical gimmick I'm trying to pull off at the end there with Jack becoming fully corporeal. Something that goes beyond a sense of betrayal because of how impossible it was to predict. But since I want to recreate a sense of "reveal", it's kinda hard to grapple that Simba/Scar divide. So I really want to finish all three eventually, but they're still low on my list, so...WE'LL SEE.
