An unused skit that was intended to be part of a previous video, but the idea was scrapped.

What's cool is that there's a bit of depth between the LCD and the internals, so the screen's displayed image actually appears to "float" above the battery and logic board behind it. When the screen is tilted, the 3D effect becomes much more apparent.
Also for context: This iPod was found in a bulk lot, it was badly liquid-damaged and the screen had suffered liquid contamination. I decided to take off the metal plate on the back and remove 4 layers of backing to expose the internals and make them be able to shine through the screen.

- iPod Classic (5th/5.5th/6th/6.5th/7th generation)
- iPhone 7 Plus Taptic Engine (iPhone 8 - iPhone 11 Taptic Engines will also work)
- iFlash Quad with micro SD card(s)
- Extended battery (optional)
- Wire
- Solder

I used a Taptic Engine motor extracted from an iPhone 6S and replaced the piezo clicker inside my iPod 4th generation. Because they both work on the same voltage and with the same PWM signals, the Taptic Engine works perfectly. Now instead of loud clicks when I scroll through menus, I get a subtle tap.

Both iPods here have been modded in the same way with an iFlash ATA1 and 128GB micro SD card, and they've both been through several full charge and discharge cycles to let the batteries settle in.

Warning: This mod is slightly more advanced than a straightforward battery swap. We'll be handling cutting tools and hot irons so it is not suitable for beginners to iPod modding. Please make sure you have the appropriate safety equipment such as gloves and goggles to protect yourself if you try this.
While I used a colour-screen model 4th gen in this video, this process is mostly identical with the monochrome version of the iPod and the only difference is one screw which I will point out in the video.
The iFlash board I used is the iFlash ATA1 which is specifically designed to work with the 4th gen. Do not attempt this mod on any other iFlash model (e.g. iFlash Dual, Quad) as their internal circuitry is different.

After discovering how to create additional player houses, I added a new terminal to my island's airport.
Each of the different path types can also be found in the inventory, but instead of being tools they act more like furniture items, allowing the player to "place" them on the map. Oddly enough, the sound effect of placing items doesn't play and the objects themselves appear to just be enlarged 3D models of the Nook Stop icons. While they have collision detection they are not interactive and once placed the player can't even pick them up with the Y button.
When selected, the cliff construction permit, waterscaping permit, and path construction permits behaved just like normal tools such as the shovel or axe, allowing players to either "hold" them or assign them to a favourites slot.
However when the player chooses to "hold" the cliff construction, waterscaping, or path construction permits, their hands are empty. They still display the item equip animation but they aren't holding anything and nor can they use these pieces of equipment.
Contrary to the previous demo, Resident Evil 6 DOES now support motion aiming. Performance also seems better than the demo, with fewer frame drops.
Having played the original 1993 GameBoy title, this remake was a breath of fresh air for me. I particularly loved the adorable claymation visual style and just how expressive the characters look in the game. While the ending is a little sad, it's also one of the most memorable and unique endings in the Zelda franchise.
