Mars Attacks! (1996) - Theatrical Teaser Trailer (4K)
updated
This NOSTALGIC video is for adults who wish to remember and relive something from their past.
In honor of the film's 20th Anniversary, this year (9/30).
Man it's VERY hard to believe that it's been THIS long since this film came out back in 2005. I still remember seeing promotions, other posters shown both in theatres and also in video stores back then. This film, got me into watching underwater film-related media, along with the Bahamas, too.
Great all-star cast including: Paul Walker (Fast and Furious Franchise), Jessica Alba (Fantastic 4), Scott Caan (Hawaii Five-O) and finally Josh Brolin (The Goonies). Now the plot itself reminds me of the 1977 film: "The Deep", with Nick Nolte, Jaqueline Bisset and Robert Shaw in a similar plot, too.
Totally recommend this film, and among other ones that were filmed down at Nassau, Bahamas: "Thunderball" (1965), "The Spy Who Loved Me" (1977), "For Your Eyes Only" (1981) and finally "Casino Royale" (2006). Great underwater sequences, indeed-- Along with a thriller vibe, too.
"Divers Sam and Jared love life in the Bahamas. But when friends Bryce and Amanda visit, the couple take them on a treasure-hunting trip, where they discover more than they bargained for, a downed airplane full of cocaine alongside a famous shipwreck. Unknown to Sam and Jared, Bryce makes a fatal mistake and decides to sell the cocaine, which angers a group of drug dealers, who are in hot pursuit of the divers."

"When the Littles go to an orphanage to adopt a new family member, a charming young mouse named Stuart is chosen. While George is initially unwelcoming to his new brother, the family cat, Snowbell, is even less enthusiastic about having a mouse as his "master" and plots to get rid of him. Against these difficulties, Stuart resolves to face them with as much pluck, love and courage as he can muster. In doing so, he shows his beloved new family that great things can truly come in small packages."

When tasked with hiring the Santa who will pose with kids at Macy's, Dorey enlists a man with the curious name of Kris Kringle (Richard Attenborough) who claims to be Santa himself. Starring Rene Russo and "James Bond 007" actor Pierce Brosnan, in this heist classic remake. Directed by John McTiernan (Die Hard). This one still rocks as a solid remake to the 1968 film starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. This film is totally worth watching for nostalgia.
I like how it shows the glamour of New York City at it's best-- And the exotic locations shot in real life. Some good humorous moments an great acting. It's one of those CLASSIC heist films where the attention to detail is worth noticing.
"Bored billionaire Thomas Crown (Pierce Brosnan) decides to entertain himself by stealing a Monet from a reputed museum. When Catherine Banning (Rene Russo), an investigator for the museum's insurance company, takes an interest in Crown, a complicated back-and-forth game with romantic undertones begins between them. In an attempt to find out where Banning's loyalties lie, Crown returns the painting and essentially turns himself in, hoping that Banning's feelings for him will lead to an escape."

Look out Jaws...! There's a NEW shark breed of the early millennium! Released in 1999, from Director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger, The Long Kiss Goodnight): Comes a NEW action/adventure/horror film of our time.
Out of any underwater and shark related films I've seen since, this one stands out among the rest. The environment reminds me of the underwater facility for James Cameron's epic: "The Abyss" -- "Alien Resurrection" for the flooded spaceship corridors -- And finally the SeaWorld Park in "Jaws 3" for personal film connections.
Totally worth watching for the nostalgia from 1999: And an all-star cast, including: Samuel L. Jackson (The Long Kiss Goodnight), Thomas Jane (Dreamcatcher), Saffron Burrows (Troy), Michael Rapaport (The Heat), LL Cool J (In Too Deep), and Stellan Skarsgård (The Hunt For Red October).
"On an island research facility, Dr. Susan McAlester (Saffron Burrows) is harvesting the brain tissue of DNA-altered sharks as a possible cure for Alzheimer's disease. When the facility's backers send an executive (Samuel L. Jackson) to investigate the experiments, a routine procedure goes awry and a shark starts attacking the researchers. Now, with sharks outnumbering their human captors, McAlester and her team must figure out a way to stop them from escaping to the ocean and breeding."

In 1999, Writer and Horror Novelist: Stephen King got involved in an accident. He got hit by a van while he was walking one day. It soon gave him the inspiration for "Dreamcatcher" which was soon published in 2001. 2 years later, came-- The Movie.
I saw this film recently, and it's REALLY terrifying to watch, indeed. With an all-star cast including: Tom Sizemore (The Relic), Morgan Freeman (Deep Impact), Thomas Jane (Deep Blue Sea), Timothy Olyphant (Scream 2), Jason Lee (The Incredibles), Donnie Wahlberg (The Sixth Sense) and Damian Lewis (Robinson Crusoe).
From Director and Writer Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark), comes a terrifying vision of aliens and conspiracies' within...! With a budget of $68 Million with it making 75 Million at the box-office-- Another rare find of movies to see after 20+ years now.
"Four young friends who perform a heroic act -- and are changed forever by the uncanny powers they gain in return. "Toontown Online, commonly known as Toontown, was a 2003 massively multiplayer online role-playing game based on a cartoon animal world.
Players created characters known as Toons and used weapons referred to as Gags—commonly slapstick comedy items, such as a thrown cream pie—to fight and destroy Cogs, robot businessmen who served as the game's antagonists."
