It made them more modules than guitar pedals. And now Moog has release them on iOS. The Dev team has hit a homerun with these 8 virtuals pedals. Their CV can be interconnected even if the plugins are on different tracks. Something I never seen before on iOS. All possible because my Tascam Model 16 can be seen by the iPad as a 14 in 16 out audio interface. Each track can have a different plugin on it. Yeah but not for me - I already have my Multi OS DAWDont' get me wrong, I'm super hyped that Apple finally decided to get on board their own OS with Pro versions of Logic and Final Cut. Still, I'm not going to change my workflow... for now. It works on iPad, MacOS iPhone even Windows and Android. So most OS can run it. I found a way that at least makes it work like a dedicated drummachine. If you load Tones on the MC-707 tracks instead of Drum kits you will be able to make your own drum sounds, either ine the Mc itself or in using Zenology Pro. the track then is only playing that sound and you get access to the knobs controllers and motion recording. Of course it's not a TR-8S but it gives you a Drum mahcine workflow in still keeps the other MC's features available. It's a device that has been design later in the history of synth when digital was becoming the hot ticket. Roland had to make some changes to bring the cost down. And it ended up with a unique sound in the Jupiter family. Like Cherry Audio writes : "Most significantly, the Jupiter-6 featured a true multimode filter with lowpass, highpass, and bandpass modes. This filter design had a more aggressive sound than the previous Jupiters, making the Jupiter-6 a natural for cutting-edge techno and electro styles.
