Many neurodivergent people feel alone and different from everyone else, like aliens or less worthy than their neurotypical peers. Years ago I was like that, wondering what was wrong with me, why was I so stupid? Now I know there was never anything wrong with me, my mind was just wired differently than what society told me it should be. My ADHD is a huge part of me, it always will be a big part of me and there is nothing wrong with that. So, my neurodivergent peers know you are never alone, you’re worthy of love and you will always be enough. {EmpTeam♥} Valentines Mashup || MEP #66 EmpowermentTeam ✰ 2024-03-11 | Over a year in the making friends, but at last, long last... It's here. Our Valentine's Mashup!! Yes I know it's 13 months late but well. Let's just pretend this was for White Day 2024 or something LOLThis came about because back when we did the song vote way back in December 2022 all three of these songs were almost tied/within one vote of each other and everyone enjoyed the different themes/songs so we just went well, (delusionally) what if we just did all of them!! And that's how this chaos was born lol. You know how mashup MEPs used to like jam all the songs into one title.. I was thinking like oh what if I called this "Victim of Stealing Your Heart on my Tiptoes" and I thought it would be funny but then I realized that's way too long of a title so short title it is. Also it took me 17 tries to render this without my Sony Vegas crashing so if you see something being wonky or a part without disable resample, no you don't......That being said, I deeply appreciate all the members who waited so patiently for this MEP to finally come out. Everyone did a wonderful job of using the colorscheme and all the parts are so cute! I'm so grateful to everyone who participated, and a special thank you to the people who took multiple parts and backups and offered to help for months really, even some people that aren't in the studio helped us out with this, so it meant a lot to me. {EmpTeam♥} Gold || MEP #65 (Happy Anniversary! ♥) EmpowermentTeam ✰ 2024-02-11 | Hello everyone! It's finally that time again...Yes, it's our 8th anniversary! My typical ramble incoming (sorry), Remi and I are always so shocked we keep lasting each and every year LOL but we're still here, even after all this time. It's really such a gift to be able to make so many wonderful MEPs with so many wonderful people over the years, 65 MEPs is so many when you think about it honestly. And we still have even more planned! I'm so grateful to all the members over the years, those who are here now and even those who left the studio, because all of you are the reason we have built ourselves up to today. It makes me happy that this silly little idea I had 8 years ago to open a studio that accepts everyone, managed to still be here now. Honestly, it's been so beautiful to see members of EmpTeam improve their editing over the years, grow in their lives... It's like we all grew together and I think that's so beautiful honestly. So that's why this year, Remi and I decided for our anniversary MEP theme to be "becoming your better self". This is my favorite anniversary MEP that we've ever put out, it's so beautiful. All I ever wanted for this studio really, was to help people have a place they could just be relaxed with editing, have fun, make friends... I feel like I was able to become a better person myself through all the amazing people I met here, and I know I probably am not the only one. It's been a little while but we're finally back with another MEP, and this is our first official full MEP including our new members! What a wonderful occasion for our 60th MEP, isn't that crazy?? EmpowermentTeam ✰ 2023-07-31 | Hello my loves, we're back with a collab with the lovely Future Hearts Studio, a studio that focuses on editing songs by the band All Time Low! This time, we got together for a special occasion this July: disability pride month! Since several members in both EmpTeam and FHS have disabilities, this project meant a lot to us. It's very important to celebrate and honor the experiences, struggles, and achievements of the disability community and we were glad we got the chance to do so by using a variety of characters with different disabilities in this MEP! We wanted to celebrate the diversity within the disability community in this uplifting project, and we hope everyone else can also enjoy and recognize the importance of disability pride month!Thank you to Lena for giving us the opportunity to work on this wonderful project together with your studio ^^ And also thank to everyone who participated, it turned out amazing! Due to some personal issues this had to be uploaded a few weeks late, but we hope you enjoy regardless.Here is the host, Remi's, initial description:Among the wave of Halloween projects, I am incredibly excited to present our contribution to this holiday to you!! Personally, I feel like there are a lot of parallels between Halloween and Pride and I think this song works perfectly to connect the two! Both the good and the bad aspects, the being true to yourself while dressing however you like and the feeling of being different than others around you... I was really looking forward to this MEP because I thought such a theme would be perfect for the fruit salad that is EmpTeam and everyone was able to show the concept off so well! I'm so in love with this, you all went off for this and I couldn't be happier~ I know this might just be an "excuse" for another Pride MEP, but this idea really meant a lot to me and I'm very grateful you all joined me in turning it into reality. Such as larger or curvier body types, dark-skinned people, people with stretch marks or scars, people with skin conditions like eczema or acne, people in wheelchairs, or even just people who struggle to be confident in their body in general! After our WLW Collab and our MLM MEP, we are happy to continue our little saga with this NBL (non-binary love) MEP! I hosted this for the International Non-Binary People's Day which is on July 14th in order to raise more awareness for non-binary people and this day in general. This project is really dear to my heart because I neither identify as cis nor binary trans (as most people who know me at least a little are maybe aware of) and I really wanted to work on something to create some representation for other people who feel the same as me!
