It didn’t take long for me to have this exact image in my mind of this stained-glass-like artwork of my characters.Before I talk about the story, I’m not copying My Pride. I’ve had someone accuse me of doing so with these characters and I have not. Spook (wolf with colorful collar) was created in the 4th Grade, Tundra was created in 5th grade and Persephone was created around September (which is also when I made this story).Spook (who doesn’t have a consistent “god of” title) had been Persephone’s (goddess of time) friend for years. He had a crush on her and thought she did as well. Then one day Persephone brought her local butch(?) lesbian, Tundra (god/goddess of guidance), over explaining how they were together. (A note I want to put here is that Persephone is bi, but she has a female preference.) Spook was pissed and he was all angry and stuff, keeping it in as his power grew.One night, Spook used “dark” magic to help take down the gods. The first thing he did was attack and kill Serenity (the god of Peace and non-binary). After that the gods scatter and Tundra is attacked. As an act of love Persephone decides to try to save Tundra. But the other gods are mad that she didn’t save Serenity. Because Persephone believes her ability didn’t work, she attacks Spook with her fire before cursing the world to have disasters, burning the landscape they live in, and disappearing.I chose the song “The Point of No Return” from Phantom of the Opera not just because it fits the mood, but because it is the point of no return in the story. A lot of the songs in that musical can also be used for the story.
