Beyond Limits: A Sydney Parkour Documentary Crew42 2015-07-08 | Last year, Carl worked on a series of short student films for his university subjects. Wanting to give a little insight into his own community, he gathered a few key representatives of the parkour scene in Sydney to create this short piece. Not a perfect documentary, but keep in mind we had time constraints and objectives to fill for our assessment!Anh Nguyen, Andrea Magpulong and Yosha Joshi were the members of Carl's team for the project, without which it would have been impossible. A big thanks also to the students, interviewees and athletes in this video.

Crew42: Carl Luiker - Heeling Up Crew42 2016-02-18 | Last year when Carl went to America, he was still recovering from a heel injury but could still train well enough (his America video: youtube.com/watch?v=sD0bl...). However, in his first few days in Canada (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dctXT...) he severely agitated the injury on an unfortunate landing on an armjump he was drilling, where his heel slipped inside the shoe and banged against it from the force of the movement. Carl was in crutches the next day and couldn't do any training on his right foot at all for the rest of the trip. On his return to Australia he spent the first couple weeks doing movements with minimal impact and an emphasis on creativity (which he's very bad at) and upper body.Carl is fully recovered from his foot injury now but is still working on ridding himself of all injuries he's acquired over the past few years, so that he can train at full capacity in the near future. Crew42: 42 Travels - O Canada Crew42 2016-01-24 | After leaving Orlando during their September holiday, Carl and Olly travelled through Toronto, Hamilton and Montreal, before going separate ways. Carl stayed at the Monkey vault and with its owner Dan Iaboni for a few days on his return to Sydney, somehow meeting up with some familiar faces."I've wanted to go to Canada since not long after I started parkour. The videos coming out of the scene there always impressed me: not just individuals, but the whole community seemed so strong and motivated (particularly in Montreal). The only contact I had there before I left was Trevor, who was invaluable to Olly and I, but incredibly enough we still had help and hospitality from everyone for the duration of our stay. Civil Conduct Crew42 2015-11-05 | Civil conduct documents a fictional world where busy Sydney has become abandoned, leaving an anonymous figure free to move about and use the environment as it pleases.The body moves through, over and around the urban space, responding to the obstacles of the built environment by turning them into opportunities for creativity. Carl Luiker - Necessary Measures Crew42 2015-08-27 | My first solo vid on the channel, a summary of my movement life recently. I've historically been very bad with injuries (and had a few over the course of filming too) so I've gotten much more into strength and mobility training, as well as solo training at my own pace.
