PMV // Little dark age ArtofaCat 2021-08-13 | After plotting against the spirits of Starclan most of her life, Bloodpelt finally gets her chance to attack Starclan. However, when she comes face to face with the spirit of the one to cause her entire downfall.. things take a turn. -This was a little PMV I started a bit back as a sketchy idea to one of my favourite songs. I wanted to put together this scene from Terrors for ages now, and now during streams I've finally managed to pull it together. It features Bloodpelt in a scene where she finally faces against Moonclaw in starclan. But when she finds her sister coming to protect the starclan guardian, she feels betrayal more heavy than before. It's a pretty important scene which has a lot of story symbolism which I wont spoil, but i hope you guys enjoy! Something not too bad but nothing too special. I really wanted an excuse to draw my Iceclan characters, and this was another one I ended up doing as a stream exclusive video! I actually have a bigger piece planned but for now i'll leave you with this MS paint drawing.The lore behind this piece is that Tommy, the blonde boy, was exiled from his nation by his best friend after burning a house down. Due to being reckless and chaotic, he was taken to a secluded island by Dream. Dream, being the sort of 'god' of the server, took advantage of Tommy's situation and began to manipulate and torment him in his exile. Face yourself // speedpaint / 13+ ArtofaCat 2020-05-04 | 10 years ago, little 9 year old Artofacat decided that she wanted a warrior cat sona like everybody else did. So, she opened up MS paint and in about 5 mins slapped together an eye bleeding red cat. she had, I quote the original drawing which sadly I no longer have: '5 meter long claws.' She was immortal, obviously, and was given the name Bloodpelt because I thought it was the coolest thing ever. she was a cold hearted murderer who was ruthless with killing others and was just evil for the hell of it. And I absolutely loved her at the time. Now, 10 years later, this insane red cat is still with me, and still my sona! She has changed drastically over the years for the better. Somehow, I grew so attatched to her I couldn't imagine having any other sona aside from her. The Bloodpelt we know now is a sinister calculating cat who ever rarely kills. She merely enjoys scaring the hell out of her clan-mates, three of them in particular. She will analyse and use others weaknesses against them to be sure she leaves a good impression of terror on them. Even though it is now a new decade and I am 19, I still absolutely love my dumb edgy sona. She's been with me through a lot, and I'm sure she'll be with me for a long time coming. So! To celebrate her being 10 years old, I decided to draw this piece up. To show the new modern Bloodpelt going against her insane self from the past. I cringed a lot, especially drawing up the new reference for 'Krugerpelt.' But I kept telling myself that without this insane lunatic of a cat I wouldn't have this lady with me today, so I guess I have to appreciate her. God those 5 meter claws though. It's your boy Guzma!-Guzma is a character from Pokemon I've always liked, but recently I really started to like him and he's become one of my favourite characters. So, here he is as a speedpaint! It was originally gonna be him when you battle him in Malie garden, but then it kinda turned into this instead. He's here with Golisapod and ready to beat up some trainers probably. I also rarely use thick lineart, but it looked perfect for this piece. It reminds me of the team skull spray painting. My favourite time of the year is upon us once again, and so I knew i had to do a speedpaint with one of my Autumn based stories. Watchmans inn is a story i haven't spoken much about, but recently i decided to change the characters from cats to humans. I really like this change, because I can really properly explore 18th century life style and all that with human characters. The clothing, houses and environments will all be a lot more fun to work on, so I thought i'd draw my lad Issac with Edgar! Kylo Ren // Light em up PMV ArtofaCat 2019-06-20 | I'll show you, the dark side.-Happy birthday mom!! I know how much you love Kylo Ren, and originally I was going to make you a speedpaint but then I thought, hey, why not something better. So I decided to make this, inspired by that fan video you love so much. I know how much you like the end scene of the force awakens with the snow, so I decided to throw that scene in there and make it the longest. I also made sure I showed off his long hair cause I know you like that too lol! I hope you enjoy it! Have a great birthday So yeah! I made this for my mom for her birthday! She is a big Kylo Ren fan, and me being a big Star Wars fan, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to animate something for the franchise! I had so much dang fun with all the details and tweening in this. It was a lot of new stuff for me so I really put my all into it. I would've loved to have added a lot more, but I am happy with what I got! It was such a fun video to make. The video is supposed to basically just showcase some of my moms favourite Kylo scenes while also showing a small timeline of his appearances throughout the first movie, ending with the battle against Rey. I really like his character, I think he's great and one of the best Star Wars villains. The video as a whole was inspired by her favourite Kylo fan video someone made which is really great. She's decided to hatch a plan to finally rid the forest of Torchclan, planning to train her son Thunderrain as a strong battle warrior to lead the battle to victory. This was mean't to come out last year on Halloween, but I couldn't finish it in time, so I left it to this year. Then I couldn't finish it on time again but just take it it's still Autumn. Speedpaint // Misty Boo ArtofaCat 2018-10-09 | smells like a clothing store-EYY its October so its time for some spooks. I wanted to do a couple OC speedpaints leading up to Halloween, and maybe get a few themed animations out. So, for the first speedpaint I chose my Mimikyu Misty Boo! This was suggested by Brainiac! So, who is Misty Boo? I'll tell you cause Pokemon lore is the best.-Due to my constant fear of Brainiac's Mimikyu, I decide to go and get my own to train since I tell myself that'll help and also make me understand the pokemon better. I expect to find a normal friendly Mimikyu, however, by pure irony I find the opposite. In the back of the thrifty mega mart I find Misty Boo. She's a very angry frowning Mimikyu, who gets angry at every step I take near her. She has a huge blue patch on her disguise which totally ruins her Pikachu look. Due to there being no other Mimikyus around, I decide to catch her. She of course doesn't go down without a fight though, and my signature Pokemon Ares is rather angry with me after the battle of catching her. Unable to choose between two names, she's named Misty Boo. Misty dislikes to listen during battles and often turns her attacks on me if I get on her nerves enough. I however learn to love her and try to keep on her good side. As long as she doesn't find any knives we should be okay..-So yep thats basically it, I love this pokemon way too much lol! She doesn't have a knife when I find her but she is inspired by the mad dummy from Undertale, so it makes sense. Any other Pokemon or OCS of mine you'd like to see me do a speedpaint of? let me know! I love that he doesn't play that much of an important role in the story but I keep drawing him cause he's like the only thing I can show you right now. He's a good boy everyone appreciate him. It wasn't intentional for it to be on the anniversary of the upload actually, that just kinda happened. BLOOD WARNING: Speedpaint // Heed their warnings ArtofaCat 2018-07-27 | "I want to kill and show that I'm alive."Esplice is a young cat who dwells in the dark forest with Thrushclaws band of rouges. All was going well with his rouge training, until he was told the legends of "the red beast."The cat who comes after rouges in the dark and takes them away, and if they return, they return with horrific wounds. Mushroom uses this as a warning for Esplice to stay away fromher land. However, after the red beast's son himself, Basilsmell, decides to train with the rouges he hears of these rumours. Basilsmell decides to use this as a way to taunt the young cat, telling him even more horrible stories and traumatising him mentally. Soon after, Esplice decides to give himself his own wound, clawing a deep gash in his throat believing this will keep her away. Afterall, she wont hurt you if you're already scarred.. will she? -Oh man I am so excited for this speedpaint. Mainly cause I can finally properly introduce my boy Esplice! He was given to me by Brainiac a while ago. He's one of the "modern" rouges and like stated above, has a horrific fear of Bloodpelt. which is ironic, as these two have yet to meet. He's mentored by Bullet, another dark forest rouge. Esplice is rather skittish and jumpy, sort of like younger Mushroom, but he's doing his best. When he inflicts the cut on his neck, he makes sure the wound is covered enough to not make him bleed to death, which is why he doesn't die from this. It was also super fun to draw Basilsmell again, since we haven't seen him since "do I wanna know"! Also the reason I used a remix of the song is cause I plan to make a proper video with Esplice and the original song, as he deserves his own video. Meme // ghosts ArtofaCat 2018-07-22 | Mimikyu used creepy stare. It's super effective. -It's the return of Brainiac's Mimikyu! I animated this lil guy in my panic meme a while back. However now I've actually played pokemon, I decided to make another meme featuring him, and my signature Pokemon Ares! Mimikyu honestly creeps me out which is ironic cause ghost types are my second favourite typing. However, It's super fun to animate and tween, so I had a ton of fun making this. Will it ever stop haunting flying types? who knows. It was nice to do another bop tween meme again, and I threw in some animation too for variety. Brainiac also drew herself at the end! Madness // Part 15 ArtofaCat 2018-07-05 | In the late of the day, Spider, his brother Vine and close friend and former Dragon cat member jingle, are on their way to the ancient Dragon cat castle. spider knows his valley is in danger from the winged tyrant king Flap, and therefore, has to stop him. As the three enter the castle, they're greeted by Flap and two of his guards. At this moment, Spider issues a battle cry, and the ultimate showdown will begin. -If anyone here gets that reference at the end then my god you've been here a long time, good on you. This map part was a bit of a farce on my part due to reading one rule wrong TWICE. Professional artist here guys. However, I'm super happy to get to draw these guys again! [Meme] Living Island ArtofaCat 2018-05-01 | Forgotten in the pages of history, is a hidden away 18th century town in new york by the name of Hollow Beech. A fairly well known detective, Issac Noble, and his crow companion Edgar have been anonymously called upon to the town to investigate theft and dissaperences. Along the way the detective meets many new faces, including some who dont seem to like his visiting. What secrets will Issac uncover in this quirky little town? The Watchman's inn may be the perfect place to start looking for clues..-Way back in August, I had the idea for yet another story. However, this one is quite a bit different from my others. Watchman's inn has been in progress since the summer and after this video being in the works since September, im finally ready to share it. The story was inspired by one of my favourite ghost stories, Sleepy Hollow. I wanted to try my hand at a mystery type story set in my favourite historic time period. There's a lot to be worked on and tweaked, but for now im happy to just be sharing the concept and the characters. I've been so excited to finally finish this video to show you all, specially as its a story I've done a lot of research for, and really like so far. I do in fact plan for this to be a mini series at some time in the future, once the whole story is sorted and all that. My mom also painted the sign at the end of the video! Meme // Karma REMAKE ArtofaCat 2017-12-11 | And now I'm nothing but rage. -Ayy so a couple weeks back I decided I wanted to remake my karma meme which I made last year for Brainiac featuring Rainbow! It was super fun to remake this and animate Rainbow again, and try out new methods of editing+animation too! I used SAI for all the lineart in this.
